Using a computer database,the author investigated the histopathology of 10000 consecutive gastric specimens collected in the last 12 years 2002–2013 at his pathology laboratory in a relatively large hospital in *** of histological sections was done when *** gastric specimens were made up of 8579 benign conditions and 1421 malignant *** latter comprised gastric carcinoma in 1342 cases(94.4%),gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GIST)in 34(2.4%),mucosal-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT)lymphoma in 25(1.8%),non-Hodgkin’s malignant lymphoma in 19(1.3%),and metastatic carcinoma in 1 case(0.1%).Of the 1342 cases of gastric carcinoma,the histological type was as follows:tubular adenocarcinoma in 755 cases,papillary adenocarcinoma in 176,mucinous adenocarcinoma in 147,signet ring cell carcinoma in 145,poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma in 114,adenosquamous carcinoma in 4,and metastatic small cell carcinoma from the lung in *** surgically resected cases,the number of early gastric carcinomas was 258 and of advanced carcinoma,521 *** GIST(n=34),there were 2 cases of the epithelioid type and 32 of the spindle cell *** size of GIST ranged from 1–15 cm,with a mean of 5.6 ***(CD117)was positive in 34/34 cases,CD34 in 31/34,desmin 2/34,and S1004/34.A genetic analysis was performed in 6 cases of GIST,all of which showed point mutation of KIT and/or PDGFRA *** MALT lymphoma(n=25),centrocyte-like cells and lymphoepithelial lesions were seen in every *** pylori infection was noted in 92%.In non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma(n=19),17 cases were of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma,and 1 was peripheral T-cell lymphoma,while 1 was NK-cell lymphoma.

Using a computer database,the author investigated the histopathology of 10000 consecutive gastric specimens,taken in the last 12 years(2002-2013)at the pathology laboratory of a Japanese ***-observation of the already examined histological sections was done when the histological diagnosis and findings on the computer data base were not very *** gastric specimens were identified as 8579 benign conditions and 1421 malignant *** 8579 benign conditions were comprised almost normal stomach in 74 cases(0.9%),chronic gastritis in 4374(51.0%),benign gastric peptic ulcer in 2195(25.6%),foveolar hyperplastic polyp in 1004(11.7%),fundic gland polyp in 421(4.9%),adenoma in 487(5.6%),heterotopic pancreas in 9(0.1%),pancreatic acinar metaplasia(PAM)in 8(0.1%),and amyloidosis in 7(0.1%).Chronic gastritis showed lymphocytic infiltration and frequently showed erosions and intestinal *** peptic ulcer showed exudate,necrosis,active inflammation,and regenerative atypia of the *** hyperplastic polyp revealed 23 malignant changes and frequently showed dysplastic glands and intestinal *** gland polyp demonstrated cystic dilations of fundic gland *** adenoma showed adenomatous proliferation in the superficial mucosa and cystic dilation of the epitheliumunder the *** pancreas was located in the submucosa and consisted of acinar cells,ducts,and occasionally *** was a tiny lesion in the mucosa and consisted of only pancreatic acinar *** was primary amyloidosis with positive reaction with Congo-red stain.

A numerical analysis technique that incorporates Voronkov's model were examined and used to estimate the distribution of defects during crystal growth. By comparisons of the distribution of the density of LSTD and the position of R-OSF in non-nitrogen-doped (non-N-doped) and nitrogen-doped (N-doped) silicon crystals, it is found that the results of the numerical analyses agree with practically evaluated data. The observations suggest that the R-OSF nucleus is a VO2 complex that is formed by bonds between oxygen atoms and residual vacancies consumed during the formation of void defects. This suggests that Voronkov's model can be used to accurately predict the generation and growth of defects in silicon crystals. This numerical analysis technique was also found to be an effective method of estimating the distribution of defects in silicon crystals during crystal growth.

Cysteine-rich angiogenic inducer 61 （Cyr61） is an extracellular matrix protein involved in the transduction of growth factor and hormone signaling that is frequently altered in expression in several types of cancers. In prostate cancer （PCa）, Cyr61 is highly expressed in organ-confined disease. Further, Cyr61 expression levels are associated with a lower risk of disease recurrence, and can be quantitatively measured in the serum. Considered together, these results indicate that Cyr61 is a potential and clinically useful tissue, as well as serum-based biomarker for differentiating lethal and non-lethal PCa.

This research is centered on impact of ASEAN Economic Community（AEC）on the companies inside and outside *** research issues started out from the fact that there is some research done on the impact of AEC,but most of them are focused on macroeconomic and quantitative *** research is done on the impact on specific industry,but it is rarely done on *** terms of recognition of AEC,survey has been done by some institution but its object is only countries inside *** is known about recognition and impact of AEC by business outside the ***,considering the economic theory and effect of AEC,it is assumed that neighbor big economy,China and Japan,might have been affected by *** order to do the company-level research on China and Japan,ten companies from different industry from Thailand,China and Japan were selected for qualitative analysis based on its strategic *** research result shows strong trend of Thailand to recognize AEC before the establishment,weak trend of China to see AEC as its key strategy and medium trend by Japan which seems to be the trend lasting from long time *** is not only seen by country,but also by *** which fills fundamental needs has tendency to recognize AEC more than other *** research result implies some trends cannot be seen by macroeconomic *** there should be more researches on company and more crosscountry research between inside and outside ASEAN region.

Single-phase bcc-ferrite in an interstitial free(IF)steel was deformed to different strains in a wide range from low to high strains(ε=1–7)by torsion under different Zener-Hollomon(Z)*** specimens were rapidly quenched after the torsion to preserve microstructures formed under different deformation *** results showed that during high-Z(low-temperature)deformation,grains were subdivided by geometrically necessary boundaries(GNBs)via the grain subdivision *** to high strains(ε>5)led to the ultrafine lamellar structures(with grain sizes1μm)were realized with decreasing *** significance of the grain subdivision and the thermally activated phenomena on the formation of various microstructures under different deformation conditions is discussed.

The sigma receptor (Sig-R) was first reported by Martin et al.(1976) and was initially classified into the opioid receptor family. However, Sig-R was subsequently found to differ from the opioid receptor in various studies including ligand binding assays and autoradiography analysis (Tam and Cook, 1984). Sig-R is widely distributed in tissues such as central nervous, digestive, immune, and endocrine tissues. There are two types of Sig-R: sigma-1 (Sig-1R) and sigma-2 receptors (Sig-2R).

The author reports herein two cases of amelanotic malignant melanoma of the esophagus. Case 1 is an 87-year-old woman who was admitted to our hospital because of nausea and vomiting. Endoscopic examination revealed an ulcerated tumor of the distal esophagus, and a biopsy was taken. The biopsy showed malignant polygonal and spindle cells. No melanin pigment was recognized. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells were positive for melanosome （HMB45）, S100 protein, KIT and Platelet derived growth factor receptor-α （PDG- FRA）. The patient was treated by chemotherapy and radiation, but died of systemic metastasis 12 mo after the presentation. Case 2 is a 56-year-old man presenting with dysphagia. Endoscopic examination revealed a polypoid tumor in the middle esophagus, and a biopsy was obtained. The biopsy showed malignant spindle cells without melanin pigment. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells were positively labeled for melanosome,S100 protein, KIT and PDGFRA. The patient refused operation, and was treated by palliative chemotherapy and radiation. He died of metastasis 7 mo aEer the admission. In both cases, molecular genetic analyses of gene （exons 9, 11, 13 and 17） and PDGFRA gene （exons 12 and 18） were performed by the PCR direct sequencing method, which showed no mutations of KIT and PDGFRA genes. This is the first report of esophageal malignant melanoma with an examination of the expression of KIT and PDGFRA and the mutational status of K/T and PDGFRA genes.
