If a person comes into contact with pathogens on public facilities,there is a threat of contact(skin/wound)*** urgently,there are also reports about COVID-19 coronavirus contact infection,which once again reminds that contact infection is a very easily overlooked disease exposure ***,we propose an innovative implantation strategy to fabricate a multi-walled carbon nanotube/polyvinyl alcohol(MWCNT/PVA,MCP)interpenetrating interface to achieve flexibility,anti-damage,and non-contact sensing electronic skin(E-skin).Interestingly,the MCP E-skin had a fascinating non-contact sensing function,which can respond to the finger approaching 0−20 mm through the spatial weak *** non-contact sensing can be applied urgently to human–machine interactions in public facilities to block *** scratches of the fruit knife did not damage the MCP E-skin,and can resist chemical corrosion after hydrophobic *** addition,the MCP E-skin was developed to real-time monitor the respiratory and cough for exercise detection and disease ***,the MCP E-skin has great potential for emergency applications in times of infectious disease pandemics.

Lycium barbarum(LB)is a traditional Chinese medicine that has been demonstrated to exhibit a wide variety of biological functions,such as antioxidation,neuroprotection,and immune *** of the main mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease is that microglia activated by amyloid beta(Aβ)transform from the resting state to an M1 state and release pro-inflammatory cytokines to the surrounding *** the present study,immortalized microglial cells were pretreated with *** extract for 1 hour and then treated with oligomeric Aβfor 23 *** results showed that LB extract significantly increased the survival of oligomeric Aβ-induced microglial cells,downregulated the expression of M1 pro-inflammatory markers(inducible nitric oxide synthase,tumor necrosis factorα,interleukin-6,and interleukin-1β),and upregulated the expression of M2 anti-inflammatory markers(arginase-1,chitinase-like protein 3,and interleukin-4).LB extract also inhibited the oligomeric Aβ-induced secretion of tumor necrosis factorα,interleukin-6,and interleukin-1βin microglial *** results of in vitro cytological experiments suggest that,in microglial cells,LB extract can inhibit oligomeric Aβ-induced M1 polarization and concomitant inflammatory reactions,and promote M2 polarization.

In this paper, we investigate the existence, uniqueness and the asymptotic equiv- alence of a linear system and a perturbed system of differential equations with piecewise alternately advanced and retarded argument of generalized type （DEPCAG）. This is based in the study of an equivalent integral equation with Cauchy and Green matrices type and in a solution of a DEPCAG integral inequality of Gronwall type. Several examples are also given to show the feasibility of results.

Tetrandrine and related bis-benzylisoquinoline alkaloids from medicinal herbs: cardiovascular effects and mechanisms of action

Tetrandrine (TET), a bis-benzylisoquinoline alkaloid purified and identified an active ingredient in a Chinese medicinal herb, Radix Stephanae tetrandrae, has been used traditionally for the treatment of congestive circulatory disorder and inflammatory diseases. TET, together with a few of its structural analogues, has long been demon-strated to have antihypertensive action in clinical as well as animal studies. Presumably, the primary anti-hyperten-sive action of TET is due to its vasodilatory properties. TET prevents or inhibits vascular contraction induced by membrane depolarization with KC1 or α-adrenoceptor activation with phenylephrine (PE). TET (30 μmol/L) also inhibits the release of endothelium-derived nitric oxide (NO) as well as NO production by inducible NO synthase. TET apparently inhibits multiple Ca2+ entry pathways as demonstrated in cell types lacking the L-type Ca2+ channels. In cardiac muscle cells, TET inhibits both L- and T-type Ca2+ channels. In this study,we used a network meta-analysis(NMA)to compare the effectiveness of medicines and supplements for idiopathic male infertility and to identify the best ***,Excerpta Medica Database(EMBASE),Ovid,and China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),were searched for the period from January 1990 to June 2021 using the keywords"male infertility,""medical therapy,""supplement/nutrient therapy,"and related *** controlled trials(RCTs)investigating medicines(mainly follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),androgen,and clomiphene/tamoxifen)or supplements(mainly zinc,selenium,vitamin C or E,carnitine,coenzyme Q10(CoQ10),or combined treatment)for idiopathic infertile men were selected for *** reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis(PRISMA)was used for data extraction,and a risk-of-bias tool and grades of recommendation,assessment,development,and evaluation(GRADE)system adapted to the NMA were employed to assess the quality of the *** primary outcomes were live birth and spontaneous pregnancy rate(SPR).The secondary outcomes were sperm parameters(including concentration,progressive motility,and morphology)and side *** total,65 RCTs involving 7541 men with sperm abnormalities but normal hormone levels were included.A total of 36 studies reported SPR but only three reported live birth *** quality of the included studies was found to be moderate to *** with a placebo or being untreated,carnitine plus vitamins significantly improved SPR(relative risk(RR)=3.7,95%confidence interval(95%CI),1.6-8.5);fatty acids significantly increased sperm concentrations(mean difference(MD)=12.5×10^(6)mL-1,95%CI,3.1×10^(6)-22.0×10^(6));and selective estrogen receptor modulator(SERM)plus CoQ10 significantly improved sperm progressive motility(MD=11.0%,95%CI,0.1%-21.9%)and normal sperm morphology(MD=11.0%,95%CI,4.6%-17.4%).The most optimal intervention was carnitine plus vitamins and fatty acids for SPR a

A perturbation analysis based on equations of motion in Lagrangian form is presented for the oscillatory and time-mean viscous flows induced by a propagating wave of small amplitude in an annulus with a viscoelastic outer wall. Owing to the steady streaming effect, the existence of a catheter in a blood vessel brings in an additional steady pressure gradient, a correction to that predicted by the linear theory, and an additional steady shear stress, which may increase the possibility of hemolysis of red blood cells.

This review paper provides an overview of the micropillar compression technique as applied to magnesium(Mg) and its alloys. It explores the influence of various factors, such as pillar size, shape, temperature, and strain rate on the mechanical properties of ***, the impact of alloying elements, aging, and precipitates in Mg alloys has been extensively examined, revealing their significant influence on mechanical performance. The study highlights the strength and strain hardening improvements in Mg with decreasing pillar size in micropillar compression. Furthermore, the role of precipitates as strengthening agents, affecting deformation mechanisms and overall mechanical response, is explored. These valuable insights are crucial for designing Mg-based materials with enhanced mechanical properties for advanced engineering applications.

Chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection is one of the leading causes of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).The HBV genome is prone to mutate and several variants are closely related to the malignant transformation of liver disease.G1896A mutation(G to A mutation at nucleotide 1896)is one of the most frequently observed mutations in the precore region of HBV,which prevents HBeAg expression and is strongly associated with ***,the mechanisms by which this mutation causes HCC are ***,we explored the function and molecular mechanisms of the G1896A mutation during HBV-associated HCC.G1896A mutation remarkably enhanced the HBV replication in ***,it increased tumor formation and inhibited apoptosis of hepatoma cells,and decreased the sensitivity of HCC to ***,the G1896A mutation could activate ERK/MAPK pathway to enhanced sorafenib resistance in HCC cells and augmented cell survival and ***,our study demonstrates for the first time that the G1896A mutation has a dual regulatory role in exacerbating HCC severity and sheds some light on the treatment of G1896A mutation-associated HCC patients.
