Metal oxides with one-dimensional(1-D)nanostructures have shown promise as electrode materials for supercapacitors due to their unique properties,such as high aspect ratio,increased interaction between electrode and electrolyte,favourable mechanical strength,and short ion transportation pathways that im-prove the charge-discharge rates of electrons and *** is an effective technique for cre-ating 1-D metal oxide nanostructures that produce highly porous nanofibrous structures with exceptional specific surface areas,predictable pore size distributions,and tunable interconnected *** paper provides a comprehensive review of the literature on electrospun metal oxide nanostructures for superca-pacitors,including the principles and key parameters of electrospinning,an overview of supercapacitors,the charge storage mechanism of electrospun metal oxides,and recent developments in 1-D electrospun nanostructures,from binary to ternary metal *** review also discusses unresolved issues and future directions in this research ***,this paper offers valuable insights into the latest devel-opments,unresolved issues,and prospects of 1-D nanostructured metal oxides fabricated through elec-trospinning for supercapacitor applications,providing a critical analysis of their potential in this rapidly evolving field.

A deep learning-based method for denoising and detecting the gas turbine engine spray droplets in the lightscattered image(Mie scattering)is proposed for the first time.A modified U-Net architecture is employed in the proposed method to denoise and regenerate the *** have compared and validated the performance of the modified U-Net architecture with standard conventional neural networks(CNN)and modified ResNet architectures for denoising spray images from the Mie scattering *** modified U-Net architecture performed better than the other two networks with significantly lower Mean Squared Error(MSE)on the validation *** modified U-Net architecture also produced images with the highest Power Signal to Noise Ratio(PSNR)compared to the other two *** superior performance of the modified U-Net architecture is attributed to the encoder-decoder *** downsampling,as part of the encoder,only the most prominent features of the image are selectively retained by excluding any *** reconstruction of the noisefree features has produced a more accurate and better denoised *** denoised images are then passed through a center predictor CNN to determine the location of the droplets with an average error of 1.4 *** trained deep learning method for denoising and droplet center detection takes about 2.13 s on a single graphics processing unit(GPU).This study shows the promise for real-time processing of the experimental data using the well-optimized network.

Cyberattacks targeting industrial control systems(ICS)are becoming more sophisticated and advanced than in the past.A programmable logic controller(PLC),a core component of ICS,controls and monitors sensors and actuators in the ***,PLC has memory attack threats such as program injection and manipulation,which has long been a major target for attackers,and it is important to detect these attacks for ICS *** detect PLC memory attacks,a security system is required to acquire and monitor PLC memory *** addition,the performance impact of the security system on the PLC makes it difficult to apply to the *** address these challenges,this paper proposes a system to detect PLC memory attacks by continuously acquiring and monitoring PLC *** proposed system detects PLC memory attacks by acquiring the program blocks and block information directly from the same layer as the PLC and then comparing them in bytes with previous *** with Siemens S7-300 and S7-400 PLC were conducted to evaluate the PLC memory detection performance and performance impact on *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system detects all malicious organization block(OB)injection and data block(DB)manipulation,and the increment of PLC cycle time,the impact on PLC performance,was less than 1 *** proposed system detects PLC memory attacks with a simpler detection method than earlier ***,the proposed system can be applied to ICS with a small performance impact on PLC.

Recently,artiﬁcial-intelligence-based automatic customer response sys-tem has been widely used instead of customer service ***,it is important for automatic customer service to promptly recognize emotions in a customer’s voice to provide the appropriate service ***,we analyzed the performance of the emotion recognition(ER)accuracy as a function of the simulation time using the proposed chunk-based speech ER(CSER)*** proposed CSER model divides voice signals into 3-s long chunks to efﬁ-ciently recognize characteristically inherent emotions in the customer’s *** evaluated the performance of the ER of voice signal chunks by applying four RNN techniques—long short-term memory(LSTM),bidirectional-LSTM,gated recurrent units(GRU),and bidirectional-GRU—to the proposed CSER model individually to assess its ER accuracy and time efﬁ*** results reveal that GRU shows the best time efﬁciency in recognizing emotions from speech signals in terms of accuracy as a function of simulation time.

Two-dimensional(2D)character animation is one of the most important visual elements on which users’interest is focused in the game ***,2D character animation works in the game field are mostly performed manually in two dimensions,thus generating high production *** study proposes a generative adversarial network based production tool that can easily and quickly generate the sprite images of 2D ***,we proposed a methodology to create a synthetic dataset for training using images from the real world in the game resource production field where machine learning datasets are *** addition,we have enabled effective sprite generation while minimizing user input in the process of using the *** this end,we proposed a mixed input method with a small number of segmentations and skeletal bone *** proposed image-to-image translation network effectively generated sprite images from the user input images using the skeletal *** conducted an experiment regarding the number of images required and showed that 2D sprite resources can be generated even with a small number of segmentation inputs and one skeletal bone drawing.

These days,data is regarded as a valuable asset in the era of the data economy,which demands a trading platform for buying and selling ***,online data trading poses challenges in terms of security and fairness because the seller and the buyer may not fully trust each ***,in this paper,a blockchain-based secure and fair data trading system is proposed by taking advantage of the smart contract and matchmaking *** proposed system enables bilateral authorization,where data trading between a seller and a buyer is accomplished only if their policies,required by each other,are satisfied *** can be achieved by exploiting the security features of the matchmaking *** guarantee non-repudiation and fairness between trading parties,the proposed system leverages a smart contract to ensure that the parties honestly carry out the data trading ***,the smart contract in the proposed system does not include complex cryptographic operations for the efficiency of onchain ***,these operations are carried out by off-chain parties and their results are used as input for the on-chain *** system also uses an arbitration protocol to resolve disputes based on the trading proof recorded on the *** performance of the protocol is evaluated in terms of off-chain computation overhead and on-chain gas *** results of the experiments demonstrate that the proposed protocols can enable the implementation of a cost-effective data trading system.
