Controlling Li ion transport in glasses at atomic and molecular levels is key to realizing all-solid-state batteries,a promising technology for electric *** this context,Li3PS4glass,a promising solid electrolyte candidate,exhibits dynamic coupling between the Li+cation mobility and the PS43-anion libration,which is commonly referred to as the paddlewheel *** addition,it exhibits a concerted cation diffusion effect （i.e.,a cation-cation interaction）,which is regarded as the essence of high Li ion ***,the correlation between the Li+ions within the glass structure can only be vaguely determined,due to the limited experimental information that can be ***,this study reports that the Li ions present in glasses can be classified by evaluating their valence oscillations via Bader analysis to topologically analyze the chemical *** is found that three types of Li ions are present in Li3PS4glass,and that the more mobile Li ions （i.e.,the Li3-type ions） exhibit a characteristic correlation at relatively long distances of 4.0-5.0?.Furthermore,reverse Monte Carlo simulations combined with deep learning potentials that reproduce X-ray,neutron,and electron diffraction pair distribution functions showed an increase in the number of Li3-type ions for partially crystallized glass structures with improved Li ion transport *** results show order within the disorder of the Li ion distribution in the glass by a topological analysis of their ***,considering the molecular vibrations in the glass during the evaluation of the Li ion valences is expected to lead to the development of new solid electrolytes.

＜正＞ Aims: To study the effects of Compound of Astragalus Extract （CAE） on transforming growth factor - β （ TGF - β） signal and try to elucidate the molecular mechanisms by which CAE can block liver fibrosis in cultural hepatic stellate cells. Methods: Protein phosphorylation and expression were analyses by immunopricipitationand western blot. The PAI- 1 transcription activity was analyses by transfection p3TP - Lux promoter and measure relative luciferase activity. Rat liver fibrosis was generated by CCl4 and protein phosphorylation and expression in hepatocytes and mesenchymal cells were analyses by ***: CAE inhibited TGF - P - mediated phosphorylation Smad2. Smad3 and INK. the complex formation of Smad4 with Smad2/3 and the PAI 1transcription activity in cultural myofibroblast - like cells. CAE inhibited Smad2 phosphorylation of α- SMA immunoreactive mesenchymal cells surrounding centrilobularareas in rat liver after chronic treatment with CCl4. Conclusions: These results suggested that CAE exerts anti - fibrotic effects by inhibiting TGF - β1 signaling in chronically injured livers and myofibroblast - like cells.

Mixed convection around a heated vertical cylinder embedded in porous medium

Numerical simulation has been performed to investigate the combined effects of wake flow pattern and buoyancy on the characteristics of the flow and heat transfer for the mixed convective flow around a vertical cylinder embedded in porous medium. Three-dimensional Darcy’s equations are solved. The discretization procedure for the governing equations is based on the finite-volume method. Peclect number and Rayleigh number are two major independent parameters representing the effects of the flow and heat transfer, respectively. The flow pattern, temperature distribution, and Nusselt number distribution are investigated in wide ranges of these independent parameters. Correlation results for the onset of the secondary flow and enhancement of the heat transfer are presented and discussed.

Suicide attempt using potassium tablets for congenital chloride diarrhea:A case report

BACKGROUND Congenital chloride diarrhea(CCD)is a rare inherited disorder of intestinal electrolyte transport that results in a large wastage of electrolytes and *** in substitution therapy using sodium chloride(NaCl)and potassium chloride(KCl)have dramatically improved survival for patients with *** KCl is widely prescribed as a potassium supplement;however,it has also occasionally been used in suicide attempts,as potassium poisoning can generate life-threatening *** SUMMARY A 26-year-old female presented to the emergency department(ED)with selfpoisoning,having taken 30 tablets of slow-release KCl(total:240 mmol potassium)following an auditory *** patient had been undergoing substitution therapy with NaCl and KCl for CCD and been followed up in the pediatric *** month prior,she developed insomnia and anxiety and had consulted a *** the ED,although her general condition was good,she appeared *** serum potassium level was 7.0 mmol/L,indicating hyperkalemia,and electrocardiographic changes showed tenting of the *** responded to the administration of calcium gluconate,sodium bicarbonate,and insulin with glucose,and the serum potassium level ***,she was diagnosed with *** In CCD management,physicians should pay careful attention to patients’extraintestinal issues,including psychological disorders that may emerge in adulthood.

Efficient Task Decomposition for Sequential Crowdsourced Task Solving

In order to facilitate crowdsourcing-based task solving, complex tasks are decomposed into smaller subtasks that can be executed by individual *** task into sequential subtasks attracts a plenty of empirical explorations. The absence of formal studies makes it difficult to provide task requesters with explicit guidelines on task decomposition *** formally present the vertical task decomposition model by specifying the positive quality dependencies among sequential subtasks. Our focus is on addressing solutions of low quality intentionally provided by selfinterested workers who are paid equally or based on their contributions. By combining the theoretical analysis on workers’ strategic behaviors and experimental exploration on the efficiency of task decomposition, our study demonstrates the relationship between the incentive and the worker’s performance, and gives the explicit instructions on vertical task decomposition, which show promise on improving the quality of the final outcome.

MDP-Based Budget Allocation for Efficient Cooperative Task Solving

In order to facilitate crowdsourcing-based task solving,complex tasks are decomposed into interdependent subtasks that can be executed cooperatively by individual *** to maximize the quality of the final solution subject to the self-interested worker’s utility maximization,a key challenge is to allocate the limited budget among the subtasks as the rewards for workers having various levels of *** study is the first attempt to show the value of Markov decision processes(MDPs)for the problem of optimizing the quality of the final solution by dynamically determining the budget allocation on sequentially dependent subtasks under the budget constraints and the uncertainty of the workers’ *** simulation-based approach verifies that compared to some offline methods where workers’ abilities are fully known,our proposed MDP-based payment planning is more efficient at optimizing the final quality under the same limited budget.

Transport of Yellow Sand in Stratified Flow over an Isolated Mountain Ridge

The transport of ye been investigated numerica Ilow sand over mountain regions in the presence of internal gravity waves has y. The motion of yellow sand particles has been simulated in a Lagrangian frame of reference by solving the time-dependent Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations. An implicit time integration in a fitted body grid arrangement was used to simulate the stratified flow over an isolated ideally bell-shaped mountain. The transport and deposition of particles of various sizes, and of the altitudes where particles were released have been analyzed. Particular attention was given to transport patterns of different sized particles in various atmospheric conditions. The results show that the particle size and the release altitude are both important factors in determining the trajectories of the particles. Small particles tend to be transported a long distance over the mountains, whereas heavier particles settle down around the release source. Due to the existence of an internal gravity wave, the particle release altitude affects the trajectory of the particles. The analysis and results provide a very useful tool for the study of atmospheric flow and transport of pollutants over real topographies.

Development of Modified 304 Stainless Steel Resistant to Stress Corrosion Cracking in Chloride Environment

The influence of water pollution and welding defects on MIC (microbiologically influenced corrosion) was studied. The open circuit potential (OCP) was measured during MIC test. It was found that OCP shifted to a higher level when the system was inoculated with bacteria while the OCP of those samples in water without bacteria was kept at a low level. The OCP decreased dramatically when MIC started in polluted water. Combination of weld defect heat tint, polluted water and adding bacteria causes MIC happen at high rate. Some elements inside the tubercle were analyzed with EDXA. The pits and biofilm were observed with SEM. Microbiological analysis revealed the difference of bacteria between corroded and uncorroded samples.
