In order to study the molecular mechanisms of green tea polyphenols（GTPs） in treatment or prevention of breast cancer, the cytotoxic effects of GTPs on five human cell lines（MCF-7, A549, Hela, PC3, and HepG2 cells） were determined and the antitumor mechanisms of GTPs in MCF-7 cells were analyzed. The results showed that GTPs exhibited a broad spectrum of inhibition against the detected cancer cell lines, particularly the MCF-7 cells. Studies on the mechanisms revealed that the main modes of cell death induced by GTPs were cell cycle arrest and mitochondrialmediated apoptosis. Flow cytometric analysis showed that GTPs mediated cell cycle arrest at both G1/M and G2/M transitions. GTP dose dependently led to apoptosis of MCF-7 cells via the mitochondrial pathways, as evidenced by induction of chromatin condensation, reduction of mitochondrial membrane potential（ΔΨ_m）, improvement in the generation of reactive oxygen species（ROS）, induction of DNA fragmentation, and activations of caspase-3 and caspase-9 in the present paper.

Importance:Pediatric medication is a challenging issue *** trials of medications for children and implementing measures to encourage innovation for addressing unmet medical and health needs are ***:To explore the recent landscape of pediatric clinical trials of new investigational drugs conducted by pharmaceutical enterprises in China from 2013 to 2022 to provide insight into pediatric drug development in the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory policy ***:We performed a cross-sectional observational investigation of pediatric clinical trials registered from January 1,2013,to December 31,2022,on the Registration and Information Disclosure Platform for Drug Clinical Trials,the official registration platform established in 2013 for trials of new investigational drugs initiated by biopharmaceutical *** that included pediatric participants(under 18 years old)were retrieved,and their relevant characteristics were extracted and ***:In total,895 pediatric clinical trials were collected,accounting for 5.1%of the total registered clinical trials initiated prior to January 1,*** overall average annual growth rate for the number of pediatric clinical trials was 12%(Pounted for the highest proportion(49.1%,439).Of the 895 trials included,736(82.2%)were domestic trials,and 159(17.8%)were international multicenter *** terms of tested drugs,investigations of biological products accounted for the largest proportion of trials(67.4%,603).Among pediatric clinical trials,studies of vaccines accounted for the largest proportion of trials(41.0%,367),followed by trials for rare diseases(17.2%,154).Furthermore,geographical distribution analysis revealed that the largest and smallest numbers of trials were conducted in North China(35.7%,320)and Northeast China(0.8%,7),***:The growth trends for industry-sponsored clinical trials involving children illust

The impact of cold rolling deformation,which was introduced after solid solution and before aging treatment,on microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of the as-extruded spray formed Al−9.8Zn−2.3Mg−1.73Cu−0.13Cr(wt.%)alloy,was ***,TEM,and EBSD were used to analyze the microstructures,and tensile tests were conducted to assess mechanical *** results indicate that the D1-T6 sample,subjected to 25%cold rolling deformation,exhibits finer grains(3.35μm)compared to the D0-T6 sample(grain size of 4.23μm)without cold *** rolling refines the grains that grow in solution *** to the combined effects of finer and more dispersed precipitates,higher dislocation density and smaller grains,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the D1-T6 sample can reach 663 and 737 MPa,*** comparison to the as-extruded and D0-T6 samples,the yield strength of the D1-T6 sample increases by 415 and 92 MPa,respectively.

The discovery of metal-nitrogen centers as the active sites for electrolysis has aroused significant interest in utilizing single-atom catalysts for nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR).Properly designed nanostructured catalysts that strongly interact with nitrogen molecules(N_(2))can promote adsorption and activation,thereby resulting in efficient catalysts with high stability,activity,and *** this study,using density functional theory calculations,we selected monolayer black phosphorus(BP)as the substrate and screened a series of single-atom transition metals confined in tri-coordinated and tetra-coordinated active centers(without and with N dopants)to electro-catalyze *** a result,we have identified two promising candidates(Hf_(1)-N_(1)P_(2)-1 and Tc_(1)-N_(4)),which exhibit not only low overpotentials of 0.56 and 0.49 V but also high thermodynamic and electrochemical stability,as well as good selectivity towards NRR over the competing hydrogen evolution *** also demonstrate the ability of Hf_(1)-N_(1)P_(2)-1 and Tc_(1)-N_(4) to activate and hydrogenate N_(2) by donating electrons and regulating charge *** study not only predicts new BP-based promising catalysts but also provides guidance for the rational design of high-performance NRR electrocatalysts under ambient conditions.
