Lignin is a typical biological macromolecule with a three-dimensional network structure and abundant functional groups. It has excellent ionic complexation ability and amphiphilic molecular structure *** this study, the carbon steel anticorrosion performance of sodium lignosulfonate(SLS) in an acid solution was evaluated using the weight loss method, electrochemical measurements, scanning vibration electrode technique(SVET), and surface characterization methods. SLS exhibited excellent corrosion inhibition efficiency for Q235carbon steel in 1 mol·L^(-1) HCl, reaching a maximum value of 98%. A low SLS concentration of 20 mg·L^(-1) resulted in the maximum corrosion inhibition efficiency, which remained nearly constant at higher SLS *** SVET test demonstrated that the formation of an SLS adsorption film can impede corrosion. This study confirms the significance of the application of green biomass resources in the field of metal corrosion protection and green functional materials.

The ferroelectric semiconductor material PbTiO3exhibits remarkable spontaneous polarization and photoelectric properties, positioning it as a promising polar photocatalyst. The internal electric field of ferroelectrics can separate photocarriers and enhance the catalytic performance of photocatalysts. Moreover, when combined with other semiconductors, PbTiO3contributes to the construction of a depolarization field, extending the catalytic applications of PbTiO3catalysts. PbTiO3exhibits optical absorption, semiconductor, and piezoelectric properties. Its piezoelectric polarization field enhances charge separation, modulates band structure, surface charge conduction, and heterojunction interface charge conduction,thereby amplifying photocatalytic activity. This paper begins by examining the structure, properties, and preparation methods of PbTiO3. Subsequently, it delves into the optimization of PbTiO3's structure and performance,exploring applications in photocatalysis as a ferroelectric photocatalyst. Emphasis is placed on the detailed discussion of surface modification, heterostructure formation, and ferroelectric polarization of PbTiO3ferroelectrics. These aspects are thoroughly explored for their role in regulating activity and optimizing the performance of photocatalysis and photopiezoelectric catalysis. In conclusion, the paper addresses the current research status of PbTiO3ferroelectric materials and highlights the challenges that lie *** intention is to provide valuable references for the ongoing research in PbTiO3ferroelectric materials.

λ/20-Thick cavity for mimicking electromagnetically induced transparency at telecommunication wavelengths

Optical cavities play crucial roles in enhanced light–matter interaction, light control, and optical communications, but their dimensions are limited by the material property and operating *** planar cavities are urgently in demand for large-area and integrated optical devices. However,extremely reducing the planar cavity dimension is a critical challenge, especially at telecommunication wavelengths. Herein, we demonstrate a type of ultrathin cavities based on large-area grown Bi2Te3topological insulator（TI） nanofilms, which present distinct optical resonance in the near-infrared region. The result shows that the Bi2Te3TI material presents ultrahigh refractive indices of >6 at telecommunication wavelengths. The cavity thickness can approach 1/20 of the resonance wavelength, superior to those of planar cavities based on conventional Si and Ge high refractive index materials. Moreover, we observed an analog of the electromagnetically induced transparency（EIT） effect at telecommunication wavelengths by depositing the cavity on a photonic crystal. The EIT-like behavior is derived from the destructive interference coupling between the nanocavity resonance and Tamm plasmons. The spectral response depends on the nanocavity thickness, whose adjustment enables the generation of obvious Fano *** experiments agree well with the simulations. This work will open a new door for ultrathin cavities and applications of TI materials in light control and devices.

Deep oil and gas reservoirs are under high-temperature conditions, but traditional coring methods do not consider temperature-preserved measures and ignore the influence of temperature on rock porosity and permeability, resulting in distorted resource assessments. The development of in situ temperaturepreserved coring(ITP-Coring) technology for deep reservoir rock is urgent, and thermal insulation materials are key. Therefore, hollow glass microsphere/epoxy resin thermal insulation materials(HGM/EP materials) were proposed as thermal insulation materials. The materials properties under coupled hightemperature and high-pressure(HTHP) conditions were tested. The results indicated that high pressures led to HGM destruction and that the materials water absorption significantly increased; additionally,increasing temperature accelerated the process. High temperatures directly caused the thermal conductivity of the materials to increase; additionally, the thermal conduction and convection of water caused by high pressures led to an exponential increase in the thermal conductivity. High temperatures weakened the matrix, and high pressures destroyed the HGM, which resulted in a decrease in the tensile mechanical properties of the materials. The materials entered the high elastic state at 150.C, and the mechanical properties were weakened more obviously, while the pressure led to a significant effect when the water absorption was above 10%. Meanwhile, the tensile strength/strain were 13.62 MPa/1.3%and 6.09 MPa/0.86% at 100.C and 100 MPa, respectively, which meet the application requirements of the self-designed coring device. Finally, K46-f40 and K46-f50 HGM/EP materials were proven to be suitable for ITP-Coring under coupled conditions below 100.C and 100 MPa. Noncontact optical thermometers have attracted widespread attention,but existing problems such as single-mode and low-sensitivity thermometers still urgently need to be ***,a novel multiple-mode thermometer was designed for the polymorphism LaSc_(3)(bo_(3))_(4):Eu^(2+/3+),Li^(+).X-ray diffraction(XRD)patterns revealed a slight transition betweenα-andβ-phases with the concentrations of the dopants,which is further proved by structure refinements and first-principles *** coexistence of Eu^(2+)and Eu^(3+)in the phosphors and their relative percentages were confirmed by X-ray absorption near-edge structure(XANES)*** from appropriate emissions from Eu^(2+)and Eu^(3+)without obvious energy transfer and their opposite changing trends with temperatures under 307 nm excitation,a triple-mode optical thermometer is obtained for this material within the temperature range of 150–450 *** highest sensitivities of 27.65,14.05,and 7.68%·K^(−1)are achieved based on two fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)modes of Eu^(2+)and Eu^(3+)(5d–4f/^(5)D_(0)–^(7)F_(2,4))and the fluorescence lifetime(FL)mode of Eu^(2+),*** the best of our knowledge,the former is almost the highest in Eu^(2+)and Eu^(3+)co-doped *** results indicate that this material may be used as an excellent multiple-mode optical thermometer.

Super-high bed sintering for iron ores:behaviors,causes and solutions of horizontal segregation on strand

Horizontal segregation has been a constraint to the development and application of super-high bed *** eliminate the horizontal segregation of super-high bed sintering,several typical sintering machines were sampled and analyzed,and theoretical calculation was made to compare the bed depth and their differences in different areas within the mixture ***,solutions were proposed and applied to a 265 m^(2) sintering *** results showed that the horizontal seg-regation of the 265 m^(2) sintering machine was dominated by particles larger than 8 mm with horizontal segregation degree of 0.48,while 360 and 550 m^(2) sintering machines were affected by 5-8 mm and 1-3 mm particles with horizontal segregation degree of 0.27 and 0.31,*** analysis indicated the different segregation distribution results from the matching of the bed depth of each area within the mixture ***,the horizontal segregation degree not larger than 0.06 was achieved by optimizing the time parameters and the division of three zones on the 265 m^(2) sintering machine.
