Counteracting effects on EnSO induced by ocean chlorophyll interannual variability and tropical instability wave-scale perturbations in the tropical pacific

Large perturbations in chlorophyll(Chl)are observed to coexist at interannual and tropical instability wave(TIW)scales in the tropical pacific;at present,their combined effects on El ni?o-Southern Oscillation(EnSO)through ocean biologyinduced heating(OBH)feedbacks are not understood ***,a hybrid coupled model(HCM)for the atmosphere and ocean physics-biogeochemistry(AOpB)in the tropical pacific is adopted to quantify how EnSO can be modulated by Chl perturbations at interannual and TIW scales,individually or collectively,*** HCM-based sensitivity experiments demonstrate a counteracting effect on EnSO:the bio-climate feedback due to large-scale Chl interannual variability acts to damp EnSO through its impact on upper-ocean stratification and vertical mixing,whereas that due to TIW-scale Chl perturbations tends to amplify *** EnSO simulations are sensitively dep.ndent on the ways Chl effects are represented at these different scales,it is necessary to adequately take into account these related differential Chl effects in climate modeling.A bias source for EnSO simulations is illustrated that is related with the Chl effects in the tropical pacific,adding in a new insight into interactions between the climate system and ocean ecosystem on different scales in the *** results reveal a level of complexity of EnSO modulations resulting from Chl effects at interannual and TIW scales,which are associated with ocean biogeochemical processes and their interactions with physical processes in the tropical pacific.

Achieving high-efficient photocatalytic persulfate-activated degradation of tetracycline via carbon dots modified MIL-101(Fe)octahedrons

The synergistic reaction of photocatalysis and advanced oxidation is a valid strategy for the degradation of harmful antibiotic ***,carbon dots(CDs)modified MIL-101(Fe)octahedrons to form CDs/MIL-101(Fe)composite photocatalyst was synthesized for visible light-driven photocatalytic/persulfate(pS)-activated tetracycline(TC)*** electron sp.n resonance(ESR)spectra,scavenging experiment and electrochemical analysis were carried out to reveal that the high visible light-driven photocatalytic degradation activity of TC over CDs/MIL-101(Fe)photocatalysts is not only ascribed to the production of free active radicals in the CDs/MIL-101(Fe)/pS system(·OH,·SO_(4-),^(1)O_(2),h^(+)and·O_(2)^(-))but also attributed to the consumption of electrons caused by the pS,which can suppress the recombination of photo-generated carriers as well as strong light scattering and electron trapp.ng effects of ***,the possible degradation pathways were proposed by analyzing intermediates via liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry *** research presents a rational design conception to construct a CDs/pS-based photocatalysis/advanced oxidation technology with high-efficient degradation activity for the remediation of organic antibiotic pollutant wastewater and for the improvement of carrier transport kinetics of photocatalysts.

In this paper,we describe the minimal reducing subspaces of Toeplitz operators induced by non-analytic monomials on the weighted Bergman spaces and Dirichlet spaces over the unit ball B_(2).It is proved that each minimal reducing subspace M is finite dimensional,and if dim M≥3,then M is induced by a ***,the structure of commutant algebra v(T_(w)n_(z)n):={M^(*)_(w)nM_(z)n,M^(*)_(z)nM_(w)n}′is determined by n and the two dimensional minimal reducing subspaces of(T_(w)n_(z)*** also give some interesting examples.

An intelligent control method based on artificial neural network for numerical flight simulation of the basic finner projectile with pitching maneuver

In this paper,an intelligent control method applying on numerical virtual flight is *** proposed algorithm is verified and evaluated by combining with the case of the basic finner projectile model and shows a good application ***,a numerical virtual flight simulation model based on overlapp.ng dynamic mesh technology is *** order to verify the accuracy of the dynamic grid technology and the calculation of unsteady flow,a numerical simulation of the basic finner projectile without control is carried *** simulation results are in good agreement with the experiment data which shows that the algorithm used in this paper can also be used in the design and evaluation of the intelligent controller in the numerical virtual flight ***,combined with the real-time control requirements of aerodynamic,attitude and displacement parameters of the projectile during the flight process,the numerical simulations of the basic finner projectile’s pitch channel are carried out under the traditional pID(proportional-Integral-Derivative)control strategy and the intelligent pID control strategy *** intelligent pID controller based on Bp(Back propagation)neural network can realize online learning and self-optimization of control parameters according to the acquired real-time flight *** with the traditional pID controller,the concerned control variable overshoot,rise time,transition time and steady state error and other performance indicators have been greatly improved,and the higher the learning efficiency or the inertia coefficient,the faster the system,the larger the overshoot,and the smaller the stability *** intelligent control method applying on numerical virtual flight is capable of solving the complicated unsteady motion and flow with the intelligent pID control strategy and has a strong promotion to engineering application.

In regard to unconventional oil reservoirs,the transient dual-porosity and triple-porosity models have been adopted to describe the fluid flow in the complex fracture *** has been proven to cause inaccurate production evaluations because of the absence of matrix-macrofracture *** addition,most of the existing models are solved analytically based on Laplace transform and numerical ***,an approximate analytical solution is derived directly in real-time space considering variable matrix blocks and simultaneous matrix *** simplify the derivation,the simultaneous matrix depletion is divided into two parts:one part feeding the macrofractures and the other part feeding the ***,a series of partial differential equations(pDEs)describing the transient flow and boundary conditions are constructed and solved analytically by ***,a relationship between oil rate and production time in real-time space is *** new model is verified against classical analytical *** the microfracture system and matrix-macrofracture communication is neglected,the result of the new model agrees with those obtained with the dual-porosity and triple-porosity model,***,the new model also has an excellent agreement with the numerical *** model is then applied to two actual tight oil wells completed in western Canada sedimentary *** identifying the flow regime,the solution suitably matches the field production data,and the model parameters are *** these output parameters,we can accurately forecast the production and even estimate the petrophysical properties.

Active surface technique is one of the key technologies to ensure the reflector accuracy of the millimeter/submillimeter wave large reflector *** antenna is complex,large-scale,and high-precision equipment,and its active surfaces are affected by various factors that are difficult to comprehensively deal *** this paper,based on the advantage of the deep learning method that can be improved through data learning,we propose the active adjustment value analysis method of large reflector antenna based on deep *** method constructs a neural network model for antenna active adjustment analysis in view of the fact that a large reflector antenna consists of multiple p.nels spliced *** on the constraint that a single actuator has to support multiple p.nels(usually 4),an autonomously learned neural network emphasis layer module is designed to enhance the adaptability of the active adjustment neural network *** classical 8-meter antenna is used as a case study,the actuators have a mean adjustment error of 0.00252 mm,and the corresp.nding antenna surface error is0.00523 *** active adjustment result shows the effectiveness of the method in this paper.

Effect of FeSi additive in dual-chamber sample cup on thermal analysis characteristic values and vermiculating rate of compacted graphite iron

Thermal analysis plays a key role in the online inspection of molten iron *** solidification process of molten iron can be reflected by thermal analysis curves,and silicon is one of important elements affecting the solidification of molten *** this study,FeSi75 was added in one chamber of the dual-chamber sample cup,and the influences of FeSi75 additive on the characteristic values of thermal analysis curves and vermiculating rate were *** results show that with the increase of FeSi75,the start temperature of austenite formation TALfirstly decreases and then increases,but the start temperature of eutectic growth TSEF,the lowest eutectic temperature TEU,temperature at maximum eutectic reaction rate TEM,and highest eutectic temperature TERkeep always an *** temperature at final solidification point TEShas little *** FeSi75 additive has different influences on the vermiculating rate of molten iron with different vermiculation,and the vermiculating rate increases for lower vermiculation molten iron while decreases for higher *** to the thermal analysis curves obtained by a dual-chamber sample cup with 0.30wt.%FeSi75 additive in one chamber,the vermiculating rate of molten iron can be evaluated by comparing the characteristic values of these *** time differenceΔtERcorresp.nding to the highest eutectic temperature TERhas a closer relationship with the vermiculating rate,and a parabolic regression curve between the time differenceΔtERand vermiculating rateηhas been obtained within the range of 65%to 95%,which is suitable for the qualified melt.

The lower limb exoskeletons are used to assist wearers in various scenarios such as medical and industrial *** modeling errors of the exoskeleton in different application scenarios pose challenges to the robustness and stability of its control *** Radial Basis Function(RBF)neural network is used widely to comp.nsate for modeling *** order to solve the problem that the current RBF neural network controllers cannot guarantee the asymptotic stability,a neural network robust control algorithm based on computed torque method is proposed in this paper,focusing on trajectory *** innovatively incorporates the robust adaptive term while introducing the RBF neural network term,improving the comp.nsation ability for modeling *** stability of the algorithm is proved by Lyap.nov method,and the effectiveness of the robust adaptive term is verified by the *** wearing the exoskeleton under different walking speeds and scenarios were carried out,and the results show that the absolute value of tracking errors of the hip and knee joints of the exoskeleton are consistently less than 1.5°and 2.5°,*** proposed control algorithm effectively comp.nsates for modeling errors and exhibits high robustness.

CoS nanosheets Coated with Dopamine-Derived Carbon Standing on Carbon Fiber Cloth as Binder-Free Anode for Li-ion Batteries

Cobalt sulphides attract much attention as anode materials for Li-ion batteries(LIBs).However,its poor conductivity,low initial column efficiency and large volume changes during cycling have hindered its further ***,novel interlaced CoS nanosheets were firstly prepared on Carbon Fiber Cloth(CFC)by two hydrothermal reactions followed with carbon coating via carbonizing dopamine(CoS nS@C/CFC).As a freestanding anode,the nanosheet structure of CoS not only accommodates the volume variation,but also provides a large interface area to proceed the charge transfer *** addition,CFC works as both a three-dimensional skeleton and an active substance which can further improve the areal capacity of the resulting ***,the coated carbon combined with the CFC work as a 3D conductive network to facilitate the electron *** obtained CoS nS@C/CFC,and the contrast sample prepared with the same procedure but without carbon coating(CoS nS/CFC),are characterized with XRD,SEM,TEM,XpS and electrochemical *** results show that the CoS nS@C/CFC possesses much improved electrochemical performance due to the synergistic effect of nanosheet CoS,the coated carbon and the CFC substrate,exhibiting high initial columbic efficiency(~87%),high areal capacity(2.5 at 0.15 mA cm−2),excellent rate performance(1.6 at 2.73 mA cm−2)and improved cycle stability(87.5%capacity retention after 300 cycles).This work may provide a new route to explore freestanding anodes with high areal specific capacity for LIBs.

Increase of chiral sensing ability in host-guest chemistry by magnetic anisotropy

Enantiomeric molecules generally play distinct functions in chemistry,biology,and *** physical and chemical properties of chiral analytes lay difficulty in discrimination and quantification of the *** report herein an efficient approach of increasing the chiral sensing ability ofβ-cyclodextrin(β-CD),a widely used host molecule,in the hostguest chemistry by magnetic anisotropy.A rigid and chiral lanthanide binding tag was attached to theβ-CD to amplify the changes of nuclear magnetic resonance(nMR)signals in the host-guest recognition *** installation of the paramagnetic lanthanide ion inβ-CD greatly enhances the enantiomeric discrimination up to 30-fold in comparison with the diamagneticβ-CD *** addition,the magnitude of the paramagnetic effects is tunable according to the diverse range of paramagnetic strength of the lanthanide *** reported method significantly increases the chiral sensing ability ofβ-CD,which can be applied to other host *** transferred paramagnetic effects,pseudocontact shifts(pCSs)and paramagnetic relaxation enhancements(pREs),from the host to the guest molecules,are valuable structural restraints to determine the absolute stereochemistry of the chiral *** strategy does not need modification of the analytes and is complementary to the reported analytical methods that rely on the functionalization of the chiral analytes.
