Calcium-ion batteries(CIBs)have generated intense interest due to the growing demand for safer,cheaper,and large-scale energy storage ***,their development is still in its infancy,owing to the lack of suitable cathodes for sustaining reversiblc Ca^(2+)intercalation/***,layered H_(2)V_(3)O_(8)(HVO)with Zn^(2+)pre-insertion(ZHVO)is reported as a high-rate and highly durable cathode material for *** existence of Zn^(2+)and H_(2)O pillars could expand the interlayer spacing up to 1.8 nm,which is favorable for the diffusion of bulky Ca^(2+).The formation of Zn-O bonds facilitates electron transfer and enhances electrical ***,the ZHVO cathode achieves superior capacity performance(213.9 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.2 A·g^(-1))and long lifespan(78.3%for 1,000 cycles at 5 A·g^(-1))compared to pristine *** functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that Zn^(2+)moved during Ca^(2+)intercalation,thereby reducing the diffusion energy barrier and facilitating Ca^(2+)***,a safe aqueous calcium ion cell was successfully assembled.

Rechargeable batteries based on solid-state electrolytes are of great interest and importance for the next-generation energy storage due to their high energy output and improved *** building the solid-state batteries,Na_(3)Zr_(2)Si_(2)PO_(12)(NZSP)represents a promising candidate as it features high chemical stability against air exposure and a high Na^(+)*** pellets were usually calcined at a high temperature,and the high volatility of Na and P elements easily led to the formation of impurity *** this work,the effects of calcination temperature and stoichiometry on the phase purity and ionic conductivity of the NZSP electrolyte were *** an elevated sintering temperature,the NZSP electrolyte showed a high ionic conductivity owing to decreased porosity,and the highest ionic conductivity at 30℃was observed to be 2.75×10^(-5)S·cm^(-1)with an activation energy of 0.41 *** the stoichiometry,the introduction of 5 mol%excessive P results in formation of more Na_(3)PO_(4) and glass-like phase at the grain boundary,which caused the blurred grain boundary and reduced grain barrier,and effectively suppressed Na dendrite growth,then accounted for improved cycling performance of a Na‖Na symmetric *** work provided insights on reasonable design and preparation of NZSP electrolyte towards practical realization of solid-state Na-metal batteries.

Geochronological and geochemical constraints on the petrogenesis and geodynamic process of Hemler,Vlinder,and Il'ichev seamount lavas in NW Pacific

Oceanic intraplate volcanoes with linear age progressions are usually accepted to be derived from melting of an upwelling mantle *** seamount groups in NW Pacific,however,show complex age-distance relationships that are difficult to explain using the classic“mantle plume hypothesis”,and thus their origins are *** this study,we present ^(40)Ar-^(39)Ar age,geochemical,and Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf isotopic data of lavas from Hemler,Vlinder,and Il’ichev seamounts in NW Pacific,to elucidate their petrogenesis and geodynamic *** lavas from Hemler,Vlinder,and Il’ichev seamounts are classified as alkali basalt,basanite/nephelinite,and *** with Mg O>8 wt.%exhibit high contents of CaO,FeO^(T),and TiO_(2),similar to the composition of melts formed from reaction between carbonated eclogite-derived melts and fertile *** lavas have elevated Zr/Hf ratios(40.6-45.2)and negative Zr and Hf anomalies,indicating the presence of a carbonate component in the mantle *** are enriched in incompatible trace elements and have enriched mantle 1(EM1)-like SrNd-Pb-Hf isotopic *** isotopic compositions of Vlinder,Il’ichev basanite,and Hemler lavas in this study are similar to the Rarotonga *** occurring at the same seamount,the Il’ichev alkali basalts display more depleted SrNd-Hf isotopic compositions compared to Il’ichev *** to plate tectonic reconstruction results,the ages of Hemler(100.1 Ma),Vlinder pre-(100.2 Ma)and post-shield(87.5 Ma),and Il’ichev(56.4 Ma)lavas clearly deviate from the Macdonald,Arago,Rarotonga,and Samoa hotspot tracks,indicating that they cannot directly originate from mantle *** propose that in the mid-Cretaceous,when the Pacific plate passed over Rarotonga hotspot,melting of Rarotonga plume formed the Vlinder(main-shield stage),Pako,and Ioah *** Rarotonga(and possibly Samoa)plume materials would have been dispersed into the surrounding asthenosphere by mantle conve

MDA-JITL model for on-line mechanical property prediction

Mechanical performance prediction is the key to the transformation and upgrading of steel enterprises to intelligent *** to time-varying manufacturing data,the traditional prediction model of mechanical properties of hotrolled strip may cause performance degradation or even failure in its *** MDA-JITL model was thus proposed to handle the modeling problem of complex time-varying *** parameters were first chosen and ***,a distance measurement method combining the importance of data attributes and time characteristics was designed to select the most suitable samples for on-line local *** that,using the chosen dataset,a linear local model was created to predict target ***,an uncertainty evaluation method was designed to evaluate the uncertainty of prediction ***,the appropriate dataset partition and off-line simulation experiment scheme were created based on the peculiarities of hot-rolling *** suggested model performs much better than the classic global model when applied to actual production data from a steel *** stability of its prediction accuracy is demonstrated in a simulation prediction for up to five ***,there is a high link between the uncertainty evaluation metrics and the prediction error of the model,reducing the field sampling rate by 30%in industrial applications in the latest year.

Empowering smart city situational awareness via big mobile data

Smart city situational awareness has recently emerged as a hot topic in research societies,industries,and governments because of its potential to integrate cutting-edge information technology and solve urgent challenges that modern cities *** example,in the latest five-year plan,the Chinese government has highlighted the demand to empower smart city management with new technologies such as big data and Internet of Things,for which situational awareness is normally the crucial first *** traditional static surveillance data on cities have been available for decades,this review reports a type of relatively new yet highly important urban data source,i.e.,the big mobile data collected by devices with various levels of mobility representing the movement and distribution of public and private agents in the *** especially focus on smart city situational awareness enabled by synthesizing the localization of hundreds of thousands of mobile software Apps using the Global Positioning System(GPS).This technique enjoys advantages such as a large penetration rate(∼50%urban population covered),uniform spatiotemporal coverage,and high localization *** first discuss the pragmatic requirements for smart city situational awareness and the challenges *** we introduce two suites of empowering technologies that help fulfill the requirements of(1)cybersecurity insurance for smart cities and(2)spatiotemporal modeling and visualization for situational awareness,both via big mobile *** main contributions of this review lie in the description of a comprehensive technological framework for smart city situational awareness and the demonstration of its feasibility via real-world applications.

Ensuring Secure Platooning of Constrained Intelligent and Connected Vehicles Against Byzantine Attacks:A Distributed MPC Framework

This study investigates resilient platoon control for constrained intelligent and connected vehicles(ICVs)against F-local Byzantine *** introduce a resilient distributed model-predictive platooning control framework for such *** framework seamlessly integrates the predesigned optimal control with distributed model predictive control(DMPC)optimization and introduces a unique distributed attack detector to ensure the reliability of the transmitted information among ***,our strategy uses previously broadcasted information and a specialized convex set,termed the“resilience set”,to identify unreliable *** approach significantly eases graph robustness prerequisites,requiring only an(F+1)-robust graph,in contrast to the established mean sequence reduced algorithms,which require a minimum(2F+1)-robust ***,we introduce a verification algorithm to restore trust in vehicles under minor attacks,further reducing communication network *** analysis demonstrates the recursive feasibility of the DMPC ***,the proposed method achieves exceptional control performance by minimizing the discrepancies between the DMPC control inputs and predesigned platoon control inputs,while ensuring constraint compliance and *** results verify the effectiveness of our theoretical findings.

Preparation and Rheological Characterization of Long Chain Branching Polyglycolide

The long chain branching (LCB) polyglycolide (PGA) was successfully prepared by the successive reactions of the terminal hydroxyl groups of PGA with triglycidyl isocyanurate (TGIC) and pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA). The influence of LCB produced by functional group reaction on rheological and crystallization behavior was studied and discussed through linear rheology, uniaxial elongation and DSC (differential scanning calorimetry). The much higher viscosity and the more notable strain hardening behavior of modified PGA indicates the LCB with high degree of entanglements are created. The melt strength of PGA is finally improved greatly and can make sure that the supercritical CO2 foaming can be carried out successfully.

Deriving atmospheric parameters of a large sample of stars is of vital importance to understand the formation and evolution of the Milky *** surveys,especially those with near-ultraviolet filters,can offer accurate measurements of stellar parameters,with the precision comparable to that from low/medium resolution *** this study,we explore the capability of measuring stellar atmospheric parameters from Chinese Space Station Telescope(CSST)broad-band photometry(particularly in the near-ultraviolet bands),based on synthetic colors derived from model *** find that colors from the optical and near-ultraviolet filter systems adopted by CSST show significant sensitivities to the stellar atmospheric parameters,especially the *** to our mock data tests,the precision of the photometric metallicity is quite high,with typical values of0.17 and 0.20 dex for dwarf and giant stars,*** precision of the effective temperature estimated from broad-band colors are within 50 K.

Achieving highly efficient long-wavelength phosphorescence emission of large singlet-triplet energy gap materials by host-guest doping

High-efficiency long-wavelength phosphorescence emissions of large singlet-triplet energy gap(ΔE_(ST))materials are essential for applications in biology and ***,few long-wavelength phosphorescence emissions of largeΔE_(ST)materials have been reported due to the weak spin-orbit coupling(SOC)and strong non-radiative ***,we develop a strategy to achieve highly efficient long-wavelength room temperature phosphorescence(RTP)emission of largeΔE_(ST)materials,which display bright red RTP emission with above 400μs lifetime and 6.5%phosphorescent quantum *** experiments and theoretical calculations reveal that the fishbone-like packing and the zig-zag interactions provide favorable conditions for suppressing the non-radiative transitions of triplet state excitons,and heavy atoms effectively promote the intersystem crossing(ISC)process for highly efficient long-wavelength phosphorescence *** universality of the method for highly efficient long-wavelength RTP emission of largeΔE_(ST)materials was further investigated in various ***,these materials with largeΔE_(ST)manifest the advantages of large color contrast on the display and utilization potentiality in information *** strategy paves the way for the high contrast display and development of information encryption with RTP emission.
