AIM To investigate the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and its correlation with histological grade, mitotic count and metastasis in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). METHODS PCNA expression was detected immunohistochemically by using monoclonal antibody PC10 in 80 cases of HCC. PCNA labeling index (LI) was assessed by counting the positive staining nuclei per 500 cells. RESULTS PCNA LI ranged from 1 8% to 91 4% (mean=33 9%) in the cancerous tissues, and was significantly related to the tumor size, histological grade, mitotic count, as well as the metastasis of HCC. CONCLUSION Proliferative activity in HCC, as defined by PCNA immunohistochemical analysis, is significantly related to tumor invasiveness. It is also of potentially prognostic value in patients with this tumor.

BACKGROUND Monopolar spindle-binding protein 3B(MOB3B)functions as a signal transducer and altered MOB3B expression is associated with the development of human *** To investigate the role of MOB3B in colorectal cancer(CRC).METHODS This study collected 102 CRC tissue samples for immunohistochemical detection of MOB3B expression for association with CRC *** overexpression and knockdown of MOB3B expression were induced in CRC cell lines,changes in cell viability,migration,invasion,and gene expression were *** cell autophagy was detected using transmission electron microscopy,while nude mouse xenograft experiments were performed to confirm the in-vitro *** MOB3B expression was reduced in CRC vs normal tissues and loss of MOB3B expression was associated with poor CRC *** of MOB3B protein in vitro attenuated the cell viability as well as the migration and invasion capacities of CRC cells,whereas knockdown of MOB3B expression had the opposite effects in CRC *** the molecular level,microtubule-associated protein light chain 3 II/I expression was elevated,whereas the expression of matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)2,MMP9,sequestosome 1,and phosphorylated mechanistic target of rapamycin kinase(mTOR)was downregulated in MOB3B-overexpressing RKO *** contrast,the opposite results were observed in tumor cells with MOB3B *** nude mouse data confirmed these in-vitro findings,i.e.,MOB3B expression suppressed CRC cell xenograft growth,whereas knockdown of MOB3B expression promoted the growth of CRC cell *** Loss of MOB3B expression promotes CRC development and malignant behaviors,suggesting a potential tumor suppressive role of MOB3B in CRC by inhibition of mTOR/autophagy signaling.

Prediction and optimization of flue pressure in sintering process based on SHAP

Sinter is the core raw material for blast *** pressure,which is an important state parameter,affects sinter *** this paper,flue pressure prediction and optimization were studied based on the shapley additive explanation(SHAP)to predict the flue pressure and take targeted adjustment ***,the sintering process data were collected and processed.A flue pressure prediction model was then constructed after comparing different feature selection methods and model algorithms using SHAP+extremely random-ized trees(ET).The prediction accuracy of the model within the error range of±0.25 kPa was 92.63%.SHAP analysis was employed to improve the interpretability of the prediction *** effects of various sintering operation parameters on flue pressure,the relation-ship between the numerical range of key operation parameters and flue pressure,the effect of operation parameter combinations on flue pressure,and the prediction process of the flue pressure prediction model on a single sample were analyzed.A flue pressure optimization module was also constructed and analyzed when the prediction satisfied the judgment *** operating parameter combination was then *** flue pressure was increased by 5.87%during the verification process,achieving a good optimization effect.

The Cu+/Cu0sites of copper-based catalysts are crucial for enhancing the production of multicarbon(C2+)products from electrochemical CO2reduction reaction（eCO2RR）.However,the unstable Cu+and insufficient Cu+/Cu0active sites lead to their limited selectivity and stability for C2+***,we embedded copper oxide（CuOx） particles into porous nitrogen-doped carbon nanofibers（CuOx@PCNF）by pyrolysis of the electrospun fiber film containing ZIF-8 and Cu2O *** porous nitrogendoped carbon nanofibers protected and dispersed Cu+species,and its micro porous structure enhanced the interaction between CuOxand reactants during *** obtained CuOx@PCNF created more effective and stable Cu+/Cu0active *** showed a high Faradaic efficiency of 62.5% for C2+products in Hcell,which was 2 times higher than that of bare CuOx（～31.1%）.Furthermore,it achieved a maximum Faradaic efficiency of 80.7% for C2+products in flow *** situ characterization and density functional theory（DFT） calculation confirmed that the N-doped carbon layer protected Cu+from electrochemical reduction and lowered the energy barrier for the dimerization of**** and exposed Cu+/Cu0active sites enhanced the enrichment of*CO and promoted the C-C coupling reaction on the catalyst surface,which facilitated the formation of C2+products.

A robust Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS)based solver is established to predict the complex unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of the Active Flap Control(AFC)*** complex motion with multiple degrees of freedom of the Trailing Edge Flap(TEF)is analyzed by employing an inverse nested overset grid *** of non-rotational and rotational modes of blade motion are carried out to investigate the formation and development of TEF shedding vortex with high-frequency deflection of ***,the mechanism of TEF deflection interference with blade tip vortex and overall rotor aerodynamics is also *** nonrotational mode,two bundles of vortices form at the gap ends of TEF and the main blade and merge into a single TEF *** deflection of the TEF significantly interferes with the blade tip *** position of the blade tip vortex consistently changes,and its frequency is directly related to the frequency of TEF *** rotational mode,the tip vortex forms a helical *** end vortices at the gap sides co-swirl and subsequently merge into the concentrated beam of tip vortices,causing fluctuations in the vorticity and axial position of the tip vortex under the *** research concludes with the investigation on suppression of Blade Vortex Interaction(BVI),showing an increase in miss distance and reduction in the vorticity of tip vortex through TEF phase control at a particular control *** this mechanism,a designed TEF deflection law increases the miss distance by 34.7%and reduces vorticity by 11.9%at the target position,demonstrating the effectiveness of AFC in mitigating BVI.

The meteor radar can detect the zenith angle,azimuth,radial velocity,and altitude of meteor trails so that one can invert the wind profiles in the mesosphere and low thermosphere(MLT)region,based on the Interferometric and Doppler *** this paper,the horizontal wind field,gravity wave(GW)disturbance variance,and GW fluxes are analyzed through the meteor radar observation from 2012−2022,at Mohe(53.5°N,122.4°E)and Zuoling(30.5°N,114.6°E)stations of the(Chinese)Meridian *** Lomb−Scargle periodogram method has been utilized to analyze the periodic variations for time series with observational data *** results show that the zonal winds at both stations are eastward dominated,while the meridional winds are southward *** variance of GW disturbances in the zonal and meridional directions increases gradually with height,and there is a strong pattern of annual *** zonal momentum flux of GW changes little with height,showing weak annual *** meridional GW flux varies gradually from northward to southward with height,and the annual periodicity is *** both stations,the maximum values of zonal and meridional wind occur close to the peak heights of GW flux,with opposite *** observational evidence is consistent with the filtering *** horizontal wind velocity,GW flux,and disturbance variance of the GW at Mohe are overall smaller than those at Zuoling,indicating weaker activities in the MLT at *** power spectral density(PSD)calculated by the Lomb−Scargle periodogram shows that there are 12-month period and 6-month period in horizontal wind field,GW disturbance variance and GW flux at both stations,and especially there is also a 4-month cycle in the disturbance *** PSD of the 12-month and 6-month cycles exhibits maximum values below 88 km and above 94 km.

Land use and precipitation are two major factors affecting phosphorus(P)pollution of watershed ***,molecular characterization of dissolved organic phosphorus(DOP)in runoff under the joint influences of land use and precipitation remains *** study used Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry(FT-ICR-MS)to study the molecular characteristics of DOP in a typical P-polluted watershed with spatially variable land use and *** results showed that low precipitation and intense human activity,including phosphate mining and associated industries,resulted in the accumulation of aliphatic DOP compounds in the upper reaches,characterized by low aromaticity and low biological *** precipitation and widespread agriculture in the middle and lower reaches resulted in highly unsaturated DOP compounds with high biological stability constituting a higher proportion,compared to in the upper ***,under similar precipitation,more aliphatic DOP compounds characterized by lower aromaticity and higher saturation were enriched in the lower reaches due to more influence from urban runoff relative to the middle *** and/or microbial processes did result in changes in the characteristics of DOP compounds during runoff processes due to the prevalence of low molecular weight and low O/C bioavailable aliphatic DOP molecules in the upper reaches,which were increasingly transformed into refractory compounds from the upper tomiddle *** results of this study can increase the understanding of the joint impacts of land use and precipitation on DOP compounds in watershed runoff.
