Effects of Long-Term Winter Planted Green Manure on physical Properties of Reddish Paddy Soil Under a Double-Rice Cropping System

Soil physical properties are important indicators of the potential for agricultural *** objective was to evaluate the effects of long-term inputs of green manures on physical properties of a reddish paddy soil（Fe-Typic Hapli-Stagnic Anthrosols） under a double cropping *** common cropping pattern before the study was early-late rice-fallow（winter）.The field treatments included rice-rice-fallow（R-R-WF）,rice-rice-rape（R-R-RP）,rice-rice-chinese milk vetch（RR-MV）,and rice-rice-ryegrass（R-R-RG）.The rape,chinese milk vetch and ryegrass were all incorporated as green manures 15 d before early rice transplanting during the following *** soil bulk density in all green manure treatments was significantly reduced compared with the winter fallow *** porosity with green manure applications was significantly higher than that under the winter *** green manure treatments had higher 0.25-5 mm water stable aggregates and aggregates stabilities in the plow layer（0-15 cm depth） compared with the fallow *** mean weight diameter（MWD） and normalized mean weight diameter（NMWD） of aggregates in the green manure treatment were larger than that with the winter *** given green manure retained both a higher water holding capacity in the plow layer soil,and a larger volume of moisture at all matric potentials（-10,-33 and-100 kPa）.We conclude that the management of double-rice fields in southern central china should be encouraged to use green manures along with chemical fertilizers to increase SOC content,improve soil physical properties and soil fertility.

A peak is an important topographic feature crucial in quantitative geomorphic feature analysis,digital geomorphological mapping,and other *** peak extraction methods are based on the maximum elevation in a local area but ignore the morphological characteristics of the peak *** paper proposes three indices based on the morphological characteristics of peaks and their spatial relationship with ridge lines:convexity mean index(CM-index),convexity standard deviation(CSD-index),and convexity imbalance index(CIBindex).We develop computation methods to extract peaks from digital elevation model(DEM).Subsequently,the initial peaks extracted by neighborhood statistics are classified using the proposed *** method is evaluated in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and the Loess Plateau in *** ASTER Global DEM(ASTGTM2 DEM)with a grid size of 30 m is chosen to assess the suitability of the proposed mountain peak extraction and classification method in different geomorphic *** data with grid sizes of 30 m and 5 m are used for the Loess *** mountain peak extraction and classification results obtained from the different resolution DEM are *** experimental results show that:(1)The CM-index and the CSDindex accurately reflect the concave or convex morphology of the surface and can be used as supplements to existing surface morphological indices.(2)The three indices can identify pseudo mountain peaks and classify the remaining peaks into single ridge peak(SR-Peak)and multiple ridge intersection peak(MRI-Peak).The visual inspection results show that the classification accuracy in the different study areas exceeds 75%.(3)The number of peaks is significantly higher for the 5 m DEM than for the 30 m DEM because more peaks can be detected at a finer resolution.

光激发引起的物质晶格结构的动态变化是一个复杂的超快动力学过程.本文利用Thomsen模型与超快X射线衍射模拟相结合,研究了SrCoO_(2.5)晶格中应力产生和传播的过程,发现不同厚度的SrCoO_(2.5)样品在受激光照射加热后,其衍射峰会出现连续位移或分裂的现象,当样品厚度增大时,其受到激光的激发会较薄样品更不均匀,因此厚样品内部应变的产生和传播同样具有不均匀性,反映出激光激发空间的变化会导致样品热应力特征的改变,这也是不同厚度样品超快衍射信号存在差异的原因.本文有助于理解激光诱导的应变的产生与传播,为研究光激发钴基钙钛矿材料的超快晶格动力学提供了理论分析的依据.

A sky model from CLEAN deconvolution is a particularly effective high dynamic range reconstruction in radio astronomy,which can effectively model the sky and remove the sidelobes of the point spread function(PSF)caused by incomplete sampling in the spatial frequency *** to scale-free and multi-scale sky models,adaptive-scale sky modeling,which can model both compact and diffuse features,has been proven to have better sky modeling capabilities in narrowband simulated data,especially for large-scale features in high-sensitivity observations which are exactly one of the challenges of data processing for the Square Kilometre Array(SKA).However,adaptive scale CLEAN algorithms have not been verified by real observation data and allow negative components in the *** this paper,we propose an adaptive scale model algorithm with non-negative constraint and wideband imaging capacities,and it is applied to simulated SKA data and real observation data from the Karl *** Very Large Array(JVLA),an SKA *** show that the new algorithm can reconstruct more physical models with rich *** work is a step forward for future SKA image reconstruction and developing SKA imaging pipelines.

Objective To describe the distribution of plasma high sensitivity C-reactive protein （hsCRP） and explore the relationship between hsCRP and metabolic risk factors among residents living in longevity areas of china. Methods 268 individuals aged between 40 and 59 years and 506 individuals aged over 90 years were selected from 5 longevity areas of china to participate in a cross section longitudinal cohort study. The participants were interviewed with general health related questionnaire to collect their demographic, behavioral and lifestyle data, as well as their chronic conditions, and meanwhile their physical and biomedical parameters including waist circumference （WC）, blood pressure （BP）, hsCRP, plasma lipids, and fasting blood glucose （FBG） were measured. Results The median of hsCRP was 0.99 mg/L in the middle-aged group and 2.76 mg/L in the oldest old group. No significant gender difference was observed between the above two groups. Among the oldest old individuals, 36.56% had an hsCRP level 〉3.0 mg/L. The prevalence of high hsCRP was 26.79% in the middle-aged group. The results of stepwise multiple linear regression analyses showed that HDL-C was independently associated with In （hsCRP） concentration in the middle-aged group, whereas In （TG）, HDL-C and FBG were correlated after adjustment for gender, study site, smoking, drinking, education and BMI in the oldest old group. Conclusion HDL-C is a stronger predictor of elevated hsCRP than other metabolic factors in the middle-aged population. For the oldest old persons, high TG, low HDL-C, and FBG predict elevated plasma hsCRP.

Background There are no reports on the association between perinatal characteristics and comprehensive physical function in chinese elderly people. In this study, we traced 875 subjects who were born at the Peking Union Medical college Hospital （PUMCH） of china from 1921 to 1941. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of perinatal characteristics on activities of daily living （ADL） function in the geriatric period.Methods Birth data of 875 subjects were obtained from obstetric birth records of PUMCH. Adulthood data collection was conducted in the outpatient clinics of PUMCH. During the clinic visits, trained research staff administered physical examinations, activities of daily living scale and a demographic questionnaire. ADLs of all subjects were assessed with the activities of daily living scale.Results There were 101 subjects whose ADL function was limited and the rate of ADL limitation was 11.5%. Binary logistic regression analyses results showed that the main influencing factors of ADL were age, maternal age at birth, occupation, daily exercise and chronic disease. Subjects whose maternal age at their birth exceeded 35 years were at 2.202 times （1.188-4.083） greater risk of ADL limitation when we applied multivariate logistic rearession models.Conclusions This study validated the relationship between perinatal characteristics and ADL in the geriatric period. An older maternal age at birth could predict a higher ADL limitation rate in the geriatric period.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is highly prevalent among older men, impacting on their quality of life, sexual function, and genitourinary health, and has become an important global burden of disease. Transurethral plasmakinetic resection of prostate (TUPKP) is one of the foremost surgical procedures for the treatment of BPH. It has become well established in clinical practice with good efficacy and safety. In 2018, we issued the guideline “2018 Standard Edition”. However much new direct evidence has now emerged and this may change some of previous recommendations. The time is ripe to develop new evidence-based guidelines, so we formed a working group of clinical experts and methodologists. The steering group members posed 31 questions relevant to the management of TUPKP for BPH covering the following areas: questions relevant to the perioperative period (preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative) of TUPKP in the treatment of BPH, postoperative complications and the level of surgeons’ surgical skill. We searched the literature for direct evidence on the management of TUPKP for BPH, and assessed its certainty generated recommendations using the grade criteria by the European Association of Urology. Recommendations were either strong or weak, or in the form of an ungraded consensus-based statement. Finally, we issued 36 statements. Among them, 23 carried strong recommendations, and 13 carried weak recommendations for the stated procedure. They covered questions relevant to the aforementioned three areas. The preoperative period for TUPKP in the treatment of BPH included indications and contraindications for TUPKP, precautions for preoperative preparation in patients with renal impairment and urinary tract infection due to urinary retention, and preoperative prophylactic use of antibiotics.
