Self-lubricating polyphenylene sulfide(PPS)composites were fabricated by constructing a segregated network structure using the co-deposition *** carboxyl-functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes(CNTs)and silicon carbide(SiC)were successfully coated on the surface of PPS powders with the aid of self-polymerization of dopamine(PDA)and co-polymerization between PDA and polyethyleneimine(PEI),thereby forming PPS@PDA-CNTs-SiC hierarchical reinforcing *** showed that the thermal conductivity of PPS@PDA-CNTs-SiC(0.97 W/(m K))is about 120%higher than that of PPS/CNTs/*** friction coefficient(0.193)and specific wear rate(2.50×10^(-5)mm^(3)/(N m))of PPS@PDA-CNTs-SiC are 18.9%and 50%lower than those of PPS/CNTs/SiC,*** enhanced thermal conductivity of PPS@PDA-CNTs-SiC contributes to rapid dissipation of frictional heat at the sliding interface which protects the polymer substrate from being destroyed or peeled,thereby improving the tribological *** work provides new insights into expanding the application of self-lubricating polymer composites in the fields where efficient heat dissipation is also a primary concern.

Sn Co alloy nanowires were successfully electrodeposited from Sn Cl2-Co Cl2-1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride(EMIC) ionic liquid without a template. The nanowires were obtained from the molar ratio of 5:40:60 for Sn Cl2(25)Co Cl2(25)EMIC at-0.55 V and showed a minimum diameter of about 50 nm and lengths of over 20 μm. The as-fabricated SnCo nanowires were about 70 nm in diameter and featured a Sn/Co weight ratio of 3.85:1, when used as an anode for a Li-ion battery, they presented respective specific capacities of 687 and 678 m Ah·g^(-1) after the first charge and discharge cycle and maintained capacities of about 654 m Ah·g^(-1) after 60 cycles and 539 m Ah·g^(-1) after 80 cycles at a current density of 300 m A·g^(-1). Both the nanowire structure and presence of elemental Co helped buffer large volume changes in the Sn anode during charging and discharging to a certain extent, thereby improving the cycling performance of the Sn anode.

We present an optical spectroscopy study on Bi_(2)Se_(3),Bi_(2)Te_(3),Sn-doped Bi_(2)Te_(3) and Cu-intercalated Bi_(2)Se_(3) crystals grown by *** find that the plasma edge of Bi_(2)Se_(3) slightly shifts to lower energy with decreasing *** Cu-intercalated Bi_(2)Se_(3) shows a superconducting transition near 3.1 *** spectroscopy measurement shows that the plasma edge shifts substantially to higher frequency 1250 cm^(-1) indicating that Cu-doping supplies extra electrons to the system and further shifts the chemical potential ***,our measurement reveals that the plasma edge of Bi_(2)Te_(3),Sn doped Bi_(2)Te_(3-δ)Sn_(δ)(δ=0.67%)and Cu-intercalated Bi_(2)Se_(3) shift slightly to higher energies with decreasing *** with the band calculation,we attribute the blue-shift primarily to the reduction of effective mass of carriers with decreasing *** optical data yield useful information about the bulk electronic band structure of the superconducting doped topological insulator Cu_(x)Bi_(2)Se_(3)(x=0.14).

A new triterpenoid, ***-p-coumaroyltaraxerol （1）, along with 11 known triterpenoids, taraxerone （2）, taraxerol （3）, 2α,3β,23,24-tetrahydroxyolean-12-en-28-oic acid （4）, oleanolic acid （5）, β-amyrin （6）, 3β,23-dihydroxylursan-12-en- 28-oic acid （7）, 2α,3β-dihydroxyursan-12-en-28-oic acid （8）, 2α,3β,23-trihydroxyursan-12-en-28-oic acid （9）, 2α,3β,24- trihydroxyursan-12-en-28-oic acid （10）, u rsolic acid （11）, and 3-O-acetylursolic acid （12）, was isolated from Craibiodendron henryi W. W. Smith （Ericaceae）. The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectral evidence. Antioxidant activity and vasodilator effect of compound 1 were assessed.

Using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators we construct a generalized two-mode entangled state, which can be generated by an asymmetrical beam splitter （BS）. Some important properties of this state, such as orthogonality and Schmidt decomposition, are also dis- cussed by deriving the expression of BS operator in coordinate representation. As its applications, to conjugate state, obtain operator identities, generate new squeezing operators （squeezed state） are also presented. It is shown that the fidelity of quantum teleportation can be enhanced under certain case by using the asymmetrical new squeezed state as entangled resource.

Effect of statins type on incident prostate cancer risk： a meta-analysis and systematic review

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of statins type or even when grouping statins by hydrophilic or hydrophobic nature on prostate cancer risk. A literature search was performed without language restrictions using the databases of PubMed （1984.1-2015.3）, MEDLINE （1984.1-2015.3）, and EMBASE （1990.1-2015.3）. Two independent reviewers appraised eligible studies and extracted data. Weighted averages were reported as relative risk （RR） with 95% confidence intervals （CI）. Statistic heterogeneity scores were assessed with the standard Cochran＇s Q-test and F statistic, Publication bias was detected using the Begg＇s and Egger＇s tests. All statistical analyses were conducted by STATA version 10. Finally, fourteen studies were included in the meta-analysis. Both hydrophilic and hydrophobic statins showed no association with incidence of prostate cancer （RR = 1.00, 95% Ch 0.82-1.17; RR = 0.90, 95% CI： 0.73-1.08, respectively）. Meanwhile, the risk of prostate cancer was not reduced in simvastatin （RR = 0.89, 95% CI- 0.72-1.05）, pravastatin （RR = 1.02, 95% Ch 0.94-1.11）, atorvastatin （RR = 0.89, 95% CI： 0.76-1.02）, fluvastatin （RR = 0.99, 95% Ch 0.97-1.01）, or Iovastatin users （RR = 0.94, 95% CI： 0.79-1.08）. The funnel plot showed that there was no publication bias. The results showed that statins had a neutral effect on prostate cancer risk; hydrophilic and hydrophobic statins as well as any subtype of statins did not affect the risk of prostate cancer.

BACKGROUND:Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is a serious and potentially fetal consequence of alcohol use. The diagnosis of ALD is based on alcohol consumption, physical signs and symptoms, and laboratory tests. The aim of the present study was to assess the reliability of carbohydrate-deficient transferrin (CDT) in the diagnosis of ALD.METHODS:According to the diagnostic criteria for ALD by the Chinese Medical Association in 1995, 76 patients with ALD, 55 patients with alcoholism, 32 patients with nonalcoholic liver disease (NALD), and 27 healthy subjects (controls) were studied. Serum CDT was assayed by isoelectric focusing immunofixation and Comassie blue staining. The levels of alamine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and gamma glutamyltransferase (GGT) were also examined.RESULTS:The positive rate of CDT in the patients with ALD was 93.4%(71/76), which was higher than that in those with alcoholism (52.7%, 29/55, P<0.001), in those with NALD(9.4%, 3/32, P<0.001), and in healthy controls, respectively. The sensitivity and specificity of CDT for ALD was 93.4% and 71.9%, respectively.CONCLUSION:CDT may help diagnose alcoholic liver disease.

Compared with hyperbolic velocity estimation methods,nonhyperbolic methods(such as shifted hyperbola)are better choices for large offsets or vertical transverse isotropy(VTI)*** local seismic event slope contains subsurface information,they can be used to estimate zero-offset two-way traveltime and normal moveout *** traditional velocity estimation methods require a great deal of manual work and are also prone to human *** order to estimate the traveltime parameters for VTI media automatically,in this paper,we propose to use predictive painting and similarity-weighted clustering to obtain traveltime *** predictive painting is used to estimate zero-offset two-way traveltime,and the shifted-hyperbola traveltime equation is used to obtain velocity and anisotropy *** first map local slopes to zero-offset two-way traveltime and moveout-parameters domain and then use similarity-weightedk-means clustering to find the maximum likelihood anisotropy parameters of the main subsurface *** order to demonstrate that,we apply the similarity-weighted clustering method to synthetic and field data examples and the results are of higher accuracy when compared to the ones obtained using multiparameter semblance-based *** estimation error section,it can be seen that the estimation error of multiparameter semblance-based method is about 3-5 times that of the proposed method.

Effect of quenching condition on micro inhomogeneous structure of Al-Fe-Ce amorphous alloy

The microstructures of liquid and amorphous Al 90 Fe 5Ce 5 alloys were studied by X ray diffraction (XRD), and the crystalline behavior of the amorphous alloy was also investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The distinct pre peaks were found on the structure factors of the liquid and amorphous alloys. The quenching temperature affects the pre peak area, but does not affect its position. The reduction of quenching temperature decreases the crystallization temperature and the activation energy of the Al Fe Ce amorphous alloy. Quenched from 1 050 ℃, a novel structure with a fine dispersion of Al nanophase particles homogeneously distributed in the amorphous matrix was obtained. And the sensitivity of the Al Fe Ce amorphous alloy to the quenching temperature reflects the micro inhomogeneity of the melt.
