KOVATS index is the most precise index system reflecting the interaction between the molecules of solutes and stationary phase in gas chromatography at present. Large quantity of Kovats in dex data have been published. It is a good way to use Kováts index in gas chromatography to predict the retention value in liquid chromatography, which is significant in theory and apphcation.

An equation of Langevin type was proposed to describe the interface evolution in crystals under nonequilibrium conditions (such as in Cu-Fe or Cu-Co system upon ball milling). The scaling properties (H) of this equation is in good agreement with the Monte Carlo simulations described by Bellon and Averback. In this equation the volume diffusion and interface diffusion are all important and this is consistent with some experimental results.

Organic modifiers were effective both to extend the migration time window and to improve the separation of very hydrophobic compounds in MEKC. An iteration method was used to determine the migration time of micelles. The quantitative relationship between the capacity factor k' and the concentration of organic modifiers was derived, which was investigated experimentally. The linear solvation energy relationships (LSER) methodology was applied to MEKC, and good linear relationships between lnk' and solvatochromic parameters of 15 solutes were obtained in the presence of organic modifier in different concentrations, which indicated a new access in MEKC to predict k' from the structural parameters of solutes. The effect of column temperature T on k' was also investigated.

Nd1-xSrxMnO3 （x ： 0.3, 0.5） ceramics containing a secondary phase are synthesized by high-energy ball milling and post heat-treatment method. The 4-wire and 2-wire measuring modes are used to investigate the transport character of the grain/phase boundary （inner interface） and electrode-bulk interface （outer interface）, respectively, and the results indicate that there is a similar nonlinear I-V behaviour for both of the inner and outer interfaces, however, the electric pulse induced resistance change （EPIR） effect can only be observed at the outer interface.

welded joint is a mechanical heterogeneous body, and mechanical heterogeneity has great effect on dynamic fracture behaviour of welded joints. In the present investigation, dynamic response curve and dynamic J-integral of practical undermatched welded joint and whole base and whole weld three-point-bend (TPB) models containing longitudinal crack are com- puted. Dynamic J-integral is evaluated using virtual crack extension (VCE) method and the computation is performed using MARC finite element code. Because of the effect of inertia, dynamic load response curve of computed model waves periodically. Dynamic J-integral evaluated by VCE method is path independent. The effect of inertia has little influence on dynamic J-integral curve. The value of dynamic J-integral of undermatched welded joint is lower than that of whole base metal and higher than that of whole weld metal. The results establish the foundation of safety evaluation for dynamic loaded welded structures.

The cell-specific functions of nitric oxide(NO)in the intestinal microenvironment orchestrate its therapeutic effects in ulcerative *** most biomaterials show promise by eliciting the characteristics of NO,the insufficient storage,burst release,and pro-inflammatory side effects of NO remain as ***,we report the development of thiol-disulfide hybrid mesoporous organosilica nanoparticles(MONs)that improve the storage and sustained release of NO,broadening the therapeutic window of NO-based therapy against *** tailored NO-storing nanomaterials coordinated the release of NO and the immunoregulator dexamethasone(Dex)in the intestinal microenvironment,specifically integrating the alleviation of oxidative stress in enterocytes and the reversal of NO-exacerbated macrophage ***,such a synchronous operation was achieved by a self-motivated process wherein the thiyl radicals produced by NO release cleaved the disulfide bonds to degrade the matrix and release Dex via thiol-disulfide ***,the MON-mediated combination of NO and Dex greatly ameliorated intractable colitis compared with 5-aminosalicylic acid,even after delayed ***,our results reveal a key contribution of synergistic modulation of the intestinal microenvironment in NO-based colitis therapy and introduce thiol-disulfide hybrid nanotherapeutics for the management of inflammatory diseases and cancer.

A transient method with rectangular pulse heating has been developed to measure the thermal conductivity of highly porous materials such as activated carbon, zeolite and silica gel. By this method the thermal conductivity can be measured quickly and accu-rately. In this paper, a set of automatically controlled testing equiptnent is *** measuring method is analysed. The thermal conductivities of some samples, such as activated carbon and zeolite, are measured by the equipment. A group of useful data has been obtained.
