Effects of extremely low frequency magnetic field on anxiety level and spatial memory of adult rats

Background As the widespread use of electric devices in modern life, human are exposed to extremely low frequency magnetic fields （ELF MF） much more frequently than ever. Over the past decades, a substantial number of epidemiological and experimental studies have demonstrated that ELF MF （50 Hz） exposure is associated with increased risk of various health effects. The present study examined the effects of chronic exposure to ELF MF on anxiety level and spatial memory of adult rats. Methods The 50-Hz ELF MF was used during the whole experimental procedures and the value of magnetic field （MF） was set to 2 mT. Adult rats were divided randomly to control, MF 1 hour and MF 4 hours group. Anxiety-related behaviors were examined in the open field test and the elevated plus maze; changes in spatial learning and memory were determined in Morris water maze aRer 4 weeks of daily exposure. Results Rats in MF 4 hours group had increased anxiety-like behaviors with unaltered locomotor activity. In the Morris water maze test, rats had reduced latency to find the hidden platform and improved long-term memory of former location of platform without changes in short-term memory and locomotor activity. Conclusion Chronic ELF MF exposure has anxiogenic effect on rats, and the promoting effects on spatial learning and long-term retention of spatial memory.

Geometry,kinematics and evolution of the Tongbai orogenic belt

The Tongbai orogenic belt(TOB)is composed of six tectonic *** south to north these units are:Tongbai gneiss rise(TGR);Hongyihe-Luozhuang eclogite belt(HLE);Ma-opo-Hujiazhai igneous rock belt(MHI);Zhoujiawan flysch belt(ZFB);Yangzhuang greenschist belt(YGB);and Dongjiazhuang marble belt(DMB).The geometry and kinematic images of the TOB in-clude:the antiformal structures caused by a later uplift process,the top-to-north ductile shear struc-ture that related to a process that the ultrahigh pressure rocks are brought to surface,the top-to-south ductile shear thrust and the sinistrial shear structures related to a south-north direction compression,and the east-west direction fold structures in the upper *** the view of the multistage subduc-tion-collision orogenic belt,according to the characters of petrology and its distribution,geometry,kinematics and structural chronology in these tectonic units,tectonic evolution of the TOB can be divided into four stages:oceanic crust subduction during 400―300 Ma,continental collision during 270―250 Ma,continental deep subduction and uplift during 250―205 Ma and doming deformation during 200―185 Ma.

Nonlinear seismic response analysis of reinforced concrete tube in tube structure

Super-highly reinforced concrete tube in tube structure is a developing structure system of high-rise building. The more reasonable derivation process of the multi-vertical-line-element model stiffness matrix is *** the premise of pointing out the problems of present multi-spring element model, combined with present multivertical-line-element model for analyzing on shear wall, the model is expanded to spatial one, and the stiffness matrix of which is derived. Combined with hysteretic axial model and hysteretic shear model, it is suitable for columns,wall limbs and beams with all kinds of section form. Some examples are calculated and compared with test results,which shows that the models have relatively good accuracy. On the base of the experimental phenomenon and failure mechanism for tube in tube structure specimen, nonlinear seismic responses analysis program on the basis of the advantaged element model for tube in tube structure is developed. Calculation results are in good agreement with those of the pseudo-dynamic tests and the failure mechanism can be well reflected.

Advances in Research on Hepatitis B Virus DNA Integration

Since HBV DNA integration was discovered for the first time in 1980, various methods have been used to detect and study it, such as Southern Blot, in situ hybridization, polymerase chain reaction and so on. HBV DNA integration is thought to be random on the whole although some hot spots of integration were described by some researchers, one of which might be the repetitive sequences of the genomic DNA. Besides, DNA damage, especially double-strand breaks could promote HBV DNA integration into host genome. HBV DNA integration into cells may damage the stability of the genome, cause DNA rearrangement, promote DNA deletion and induce the formation of HCC.

对以宽叶香蒲(Typha latifolia)为优势种的人工湿地系统水体中菌类、藻类和原生动物进行生态学调查,评估湿地对采矿废水治理的长期效能,探索系统中各组分的恢复与采矿废水处理长期效能与稳定性的关系.研究结果表明,宽叶香蒲湿地系统中有40种藻类植物隶属于5门31属,80种原生动物隶属于2门6纲21目56属,其中鞭毛虫42种,肉足虫6种,纤毛虫32种,菌类主要为假单胞菌属及产碱菌属.随着采样点至排污口距离的增加,水体中菌类、藻类及原生动物的种类和数量呈上升趋势.

Flexible electronic devices are highly attractive for a variety of applications such as flexible circuit boards, solar cells, paper-like displays, and sensitive skin, due to their stretchable, biocompatible, light-weight,portable, and low cost properties. Due to magnetic devices being important parts of electronic devices, it is essential to study the magnetic properties of magnetic thin films and devices fabricated on flexible substrates. In this review, we mainly introduce the recent progress in flexible magnetic thin films and devices, including the study on the stress-dependent magnetic properties of magnetic thin films and devices, and controlling the properties of flexible magnetic films by stress-related multi-fields, and the design and fabrication of flexible magnetic devices.

Trophic states and nutrient storage of reservoirs in Chongqing

The trophic states of 35 reservoirs were investigated in the region of Chongqing,Southwest *** results showed that the concentrations of nutrients and chlorophyll a were high and organic pollution and transparence(SD) were low in the water *** concentrations of total nitrogen(TN) range from 0.52 mg/L to 5.94 mg/L and those of total phosphorus(TP) range from 0.002 mg/L to 0.598 mg/*** oxygen demand(COD) ranges from 0.75 mg/L to 9.3 mg/L and SD ranges from 0.48 m to 3.2 *** was a significant positive correlation between COD and chlorophyll a,but a significant negative correlation between SD and chlorophyll *** terms of the integrated nutrition state index,the eutrophication states of the reservoirs were *** the investigated reservoirs,about 22 reached the grade of *** one reservoir was in the state of oligotropher,the rest were in the state of *** nutrition state indices range from 25.4 to *** storage capacity of nutrients in the reservoirs was *** stored TN,TP and COD were about 4731,206 and 10259 t,*** main pollution sources are industrial and domestic *** the development of aquaculture,the contamination level increases gradually.

Development of Low and Middle Carbon Martensite Spring Steel with High Strength and Toughness for Automobile

The conventional middle and high carbon spring steels have some drawbacks in properties, production and application. In order to meet the demands of rapid development of automobile, a new low and middle carbon spring steel 35Si2CrMnVB, C0.34, Sil.66, MnO.80, CrO.67, V0.13, B0.001, P0.011, S0.014 wt.%, has been developed. Comparison between the new spring steel 35Si2CrMnVB and the conventional spring steel 60Si2MnA, C0.61, Si 1.75, MnO.76, P0.021, S0.018 wt.%, shows that the new spring steel has not only high strength, good ductility, good comprehensive mechanical properties, but also low decarbonization tendency, sufficient hardenability and high elastic sag resistance, etc.. The microstructure change in quenched steel caused by the decreasing of carbon contents is detected through metallographic observation, the new low and middle carbon spring steel 35Si2CrMnVB after quenching is composed of almost lath martensite with high dislocation density and only a little martensite with twin structure. It is testified that to develop low carbon spring steel with more excellent properties for automobile is feasible.

Human as AI *** human-in the-loop reinforcement leaming for safe and efficient autonomous driving

Despite significant progress in autonomous vehicles(AVs),the development of driving policies that ensure both the safety of AVs and traffic flow efficiency has not yet been fully *** this paper,we propose an enhanced human-in-the-loop reinforcement learning method,termed the Human as AI mentor-based deep reinforcement learning(HAIM-DRL)framework,which facilitates safe and efficient autonomous driving in mixed traffic *** inspiration from the human learning process,we first introduce an innovative learning paradigm that effectively injects human intelligence into AI,termed Human as AI mentor(HAIM).In this paradigm,the human expert serves as a mentor to the AI *** allowing the agent to sufficiently explore uncertain environments,the human expert can take control in dangerous situations and demonstrate correct actions to avoid potential *** the other hand,the agent could be guided to minimize traffic flow disturbance,thereby optimizing traffic flow *** detail,HAIM-DRL leverages data collected from free exploration and partial human demonstrations as its two training ***,we circumvent the intricate process of manually designing reward functions;instead,we directly derive proxy state-action values from partial human demonstrations to guide the agents’policy ***,we employ a minimal intervention technique to reduce the human mentor’s cognitive *** results show that HAIM-DRL outperforms traditional methods in driving safety,sampling efficiency,mitigation of traffic flow disturbance,and generalizability to unseen traffic scenarios.

Photocatalytic Degradation of Acid Blue 62 over La/I/TiO2 Nanocomposite Photocatalyst under Simulated Sunlight

In order to explore the photocatalytic activity of the lanthanum and iodine co-doped TiO2,the degradation of acid blue 62 as a probe reaction under simulated sunlight irradiattion was investigated.A novel visible-light-activated La/I/TiO2 nanocomposition photocatalyst was prepared using precipitation-diping method,and characterized by X-ray diffraction（XRD）,transmission electron microscopy（TEM）and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy（UV-Vis-DRS）.The photocatalytic efficiency of La/I/TiO2 was evaluated by the photodegradation of reactive acid blue 62 as a probe reaction under simulated sunlight *** experiment results shows that the La/I co-doped TiO2 catalyst has higher photocatalytic activity than the standard Degussa P25,La-doped TiO2 and I-doped TiO2 photocatalysts under simulated sunlight irradiation,and the way of La/I co-doping extends the absorption spectra of TiO2 and shifts the absorption edge remarkably toward longer wavelength.
