As the demand for high-quality services proliferates,an innovative netw.rk architecture,the fully-decoupled RAN(FD-RAN),has emerged for more flexible spectrum resource utilization and low.r netw.rk ***,w.th the decoupling of uplink base stations and dow.link base stations in FDRAN,the traditional transmission mechanism,w.ich relies on real-time channel feedback,is not suitable as the receiver is not able to feedback accurate and timely channel state information to the *** paper proposes a novel transmission scheme w.thout relying on physical layer channel ***,w. design a radio map based complex-valued precoding netw.rk(RMCPNet)model,w.ich outputs the base station precoding based on user *** comprises multiple subnets,w.th each subnet responsible for extracting unique modal features from diverse input ***,the multimodal embeddings derived from these distinct subnets are integrated w.thin the information fusion layer,culminating in a unified *** also develop a specific RMCPNet training algorithm that employs the negative spectral efficiency as the loss *** evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme on the public DeepMIMO dataset and show.that RMCPNet can achieve 16%and 76%performance improvements over the conventional real-valued neural netw.rk and statistical codebook approach,respectively.

Purpose:This paper presents an update of the 2011 w.eelchair Compendium of Physical Activities designed for w.eelchair users and is referred to as the 2024 w.eelchair *** w.eelchair Compendium aims to curate existing know.edge of the energy expenditure for w.eelchair physical activities(PAs).Methods:A systematic review.of the published energy expenditure of PA for w.eelchair users w.s completed betw.en 2011 and May *** added these data to the 2011 w.eelchair Compendium data that w.s compiled previously in a systematic review.through ***:A total of 47 studies w.re included,and 124 different w.eelchair PA reported energy expenditure values ranging from 0.8 metabolic equivalents for w.eelchair users(filing papers,light effort)to 11.8 metabolic equivalents for w.eelchair users(Nordic sit skiing).Conclusion:In introducing the updated 2024 w.eelchair Compendium,w. hope to bridge the resource gap and challenge the prevailing narratives that inadvertently exclude w.eelchair users from physical fitness and health PAs.

Variation in Yellow.Root Cassava (Manihot esculentus Crantz) Genotypes and Phenotypic Relationship for Selected Postharvest and Morphological Traits

This study evaluated the variation in yellow.root cassava (Manihot esculentus Crantz) genotypes and phenotypic relationship for selected postharvest and morphological traits. The trial w.s established at the Njala Agricultural Research Centre experimental site, Njala, during 2017/2018 cropping season in a randomized complete block design w.th three replications. Findings show.d that the higher the total carotene content (TCC) in yellow.flesh cassava genotypes, the longer the rate of postharvest physiological deterioration (PPD). Genotypes TR-0051-TCC/17 and TR-0012-TCC/17 recorded higher TCC (18.9 µg/g and 13.6 µg/g) and longer rate of PPD (4.29 and 3.14), respectively. Genotypes TR-0051-TCC/17, TR-0016-TCC/17, TR-0028-TCC/17, TR-0012-TCC/17 and TR-0020-TCC/17 had the highest TCC values of 18.9 µg/g, 16.09 µg/g, 14.72 µg/g, 13.6 µg/g and 11.23 µg/g w.th corresponding higher color chart values of 6, 6, 6, 5, and 6, respectively. This suggests the direct dependence of TCC on the root parenchyma color intensity in yellow.flesh cassava genotypes. Findings also show.a direct relationship betw.en morphological and postharvest traits in yellow.flesh cassava genotypes that could be exploited for the genetic improvement of cassava for increased shelf life, nutrition and related quality traits, as w.ll as conservation and utilization of the crop.

Current endoscopic approach to indeterminate biliary strictures

Biliary strictures are considered indeterminate w.en basic w.rk-up, including transabdominal imaging and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography w.th routine cytologic brushing, are non-diagnostic. Indeterminate biliary strictures can easily be mischaracterized w.ich may dramatically affect patient's outcome. Early and accurate diagnosis of malignancy impacts not only a patient's candidacy for surgery, but also potential timely targeted chemotherapies. A significant portion of patients w.th indeterminate biliary strictures have benign disease and accurate diagnosis is, thus, paramount to avoid unnecessary surgery. Current sampling strategies have suboptimal accuracy for the diagnosis of malignancy. Emerging data on other diagnostic modalities, such as ancillary cytology techniques, single operator cholangioscopy, and endoscopic ultrasonography-guided fine needle aspiration, revealed promising results w.th much improved sensitivity.

Energy absorption performance has been a long-pursued research topic in designing desired materials and structures subject to external dynamic *** by natural bio-structures,herein,w. develop both numerical and theoretical models to analyze the energy absorption behaviors of w.aire,Floret,and Kagome-shaped thin-w.lled *** demonstrate that these bio-inspired structures possess superior energy absorption capabilities compared to the traditional thin-w.lled structures,w.th the specific energy absorption about 44%higher than the traditional *** developed mechanical model captures the fundamental characteristics of the bio-inspired honeycomb,and the mean crushing force in all three structures is accurately *** indicate that although the basic energy absorption and deformation mode remain the same,varied geometry design and the corresponding material distribution can further boost the energy absorption of the structure,providing a much broader design space for the next-generation impact energy absorption structures and systems.

Today＇s manufacturing cnvironmem forces manufacturing companies to make as many product variations as possible at affordable costs w.thin a short time. Mass customisation is one of most important technologies for companies to achieve their objectives. Efforts to mass customisation should be made on tw. aspects：（1） To modularize products and make them as less differences as possible; （2） To design manufacturing resources and make them provide as many processes variations as possible. This paper reports our recent w.rk on aspect （2）, i.e. how.to design a reconfignrable manufacturing system （RMS） so that it can be competent to accomplish various processes optimally; Reconfignrable robot system （RRS） is taken as an example. RMS design involves architecture design and configuration design, and configuration design is further divided in design analysis and design synthesis. Axiomatic design theory （ADT） is applied to architecture design, the features and issues of RRS configuration design are discussed, automatic modelling method is developed for design analysis, and concurrent design methodology is presented for design synthesis.
