Foot and m.uth disease is the m.st contagious disease of m.m.als and has a great potential for causing severe econom.c loss in susceptible cloven-hoofed anim.ls. Routine prophylactic vaccination in Egypt from.2012 till now has been conducted with Trivalent and/or hexavalent vaccine of m.RIAL, against virus strains (O m.nisa + O-3039 + A Iran 05 + A Saudi 95 + Asia 1 + Sat2). This study aim.d to evaluate the hem.to-biochem.cal and im.unological changes associated with the use of hexavalent vaccine alone or in com.ination with trivalent Fm. vaccine. This study was carried out on 24 cattle divided into three groups eight cattle each. Group I served as control. Group II were selected from.farm. vaccinated with hexavalent Fm. vaccine. Group III were selected from.farm. vaccinated with a com.ination of trivalent and hexavalent Fm. vaccine. The results showed that both vaccinated groups showed a significant increase in total leukocytic count. Sera from.hexavalent-trivalent vaccinated cattle dem.nstrated a significant increase in serum.cortisol concentrations. Significant increase in serum.activity of aspartate am.notransferase was recorded in anim.ls vaccinated with a com.ination of hexavalent and trivalent vaccine. In addition, both regim.s resulted in a significant increase in serum.blood urea nitrogen com.ared to control. Both regim.s induced a significant increase in serum.levels of ceruloplasm.n while phagocytic activity of neutrophils and phagocytic index was enhanced only by the hexavalent vaccine. Both vaccinated groups had significantly increased serum.values of gam.a globulins. These results suggested that hexavalent vaccine produced higher levels of safety and protective effects against Fm. in cattle as com.ared to those produced by a com.ination of hexavalent and trivalent vaccines. It is also advisable to include the hexavalent vaccine within the program.of obligatory and im.erative vaccination against Fm..

An autonom.us m.crogrid that runs on renewable energy sources is presented in this *** has a supercon-ducting m.gnetic energy storage(Sm.S)device,wind energy-producing devices,and an energy storage ***,because such m.crogrids are nonlinear and the energy they create varies with tim.,controlling and m.naging the energy inside them.is a difficult ***-order proportional integral(FOPI)controller is recom.ended for the current research to enhance a standalone m.crogrid’s energy m.nagem.nt and *** suggested dedicated control for the Sm.S com.rises two loops:the outer loop,which uses the FOPI to regulate the DC-link voltage,and the inner loop,responsible for regulating the Sm.S current,is constructed using the intelligent FOPI(iFOPI).The FOPI+iFOPI param.ters are best developed using the dandelion optim.zer(DO)approach to achieve the optim.m.*** suggested FOPI+iFOPI controller’s perform.nce is contrasted with a conventional PI controller for variations in wind speed and m.crogrid *** optim.l FOPI+iFOPI controller m.nages the voltage and frequency of the *** behavior of the m.crogrid as a reaction to step changes in load and wind speed was m.asured using the proposed *** sim.lations were used to evaluate the recom.ended system.s *** results of the sim.lations showed that throughout all interruptions,the recom.ended m.crogrid provided the load with AC power with a constant am.litude and *** addition,the required load dem.nd was accurately ***,the m.crogrid functioned incredibly well despite Sm.S and varying wind *** obtained under identical conditions were com.ared with and without the best FOPI+iFOPI *** utilizing the optim.l FOPI+iFOPI controller with Sm.S,it was found that the m.crogrid perform.d better than the m.crogrid without Sm.S.

Com.arative study between three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts for antim.crobial applications

The design of nanostructured m.terials occupies a privileged position in the developm.nt and m.nagem.nt of affordable and effective technology in the antibacterial ***,we discuss the antim.crobial properties of three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts m.terials of graphene oxide(GO),reduced graphene oxide(RGO),and single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)that have a m.chano-bactericidal effect,and the ability to piercing or slicing bacterial *** dem.nstrate the significance of size,m.rphology and com.osition on the antibacterial activity m.chanism.the designed nanom.terials have been *** m.nim.m.inhibitory concentration(m.C),standard agar well diffusion,and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy were utilized to evaluate the antibacterial activity of GO,RGO,and *** on the evidence obtained,the three carbonaceous m.terials exhibit activity against all m.crobial strains tested by com.letely encapsulating bacterial cells and causing m.rphological disruption by degrading the m.crobial cell m.m.rane in the order of RGO>GO>*** of the external cell wall structure and outer m.m.rane proteins,the synthesized carbonaceous nanom.terials exhibited higher antibacterial activity against Gram.positive bacterial strains than Gram.negative and fungal *** had the lowest m.C values(0.062,0.125,and 0.25 m./m. against ***,***,and ***,respectively),as well as m.nim.m.fungal concentrations(0.5 m./m. for both *** and ***).At 12 hr,the cell viability values against tested m.crobial strains were com.letely *** lysis and death occurred as a result of severe m.m.rane dam.ge caused by m.croorganism. perched on RGO *** work gives an insight into the design of effective graphene-based antim.crobial m.terials for water treatm.nt and rem.diation.

Nephronophthisis-related ciliopathies(NPHP-RC)represent one of the m.st com.on causes of chronic kidney disease in the first three decades of life and are characterized by a broad genetic and clinical heterogeneity.1 To date,m.re than 90 genes have been identified that cause autosom.lrecessive NPHP-RC if m.tated,accounting for up to 60%of cases.1 Am.ng these,hom.zygous deletions of NPHP1 are the m.st com.on *** genes localize to prim.ry cilia,basal bodies,or the centrosom. and lead to a prim.ry ciliary disruption if m.tated,thereby causing a broad phenotypical spectrum.1 Patients that suffer from.NPHP-RC can either have an isolated renal phenotype,such as polyuria,polydipsia,decreased urinary concentration ability,and secondary enuresis due to loss of tubular function,or present with extrarenal sym.tom. including retinal degeneration,cerebellar verm.s hypoplasia,or hepatic *** are often diagnosed in early adolescence,reaching end-stage renal disease before 25 years of age,but early onset and rapidly progressive form. of NPHP-RC also exist.1 Renal ultrasound indicates kidneys of norm.l or reduced renal length with increased echogenicity and corticom.dullary cysts.

In this paper,Support Vector m.chine(SVm.and K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN)based m.thods are to be applied on fault diagnosis in a robot m.nipulator.A com.arative study between the two classiﬁers in term. of successfully detecting and isolating the seven classes of sensor faults is considered in this *** both classiﬁers,the torque,the position and the speed of the m.nipulator have been em.loyed as the input ***,it is to m.ntion that a large database is needed and used for the training and testing *** SVm.m.thod used in this paper is based on the Gaussian kernel with the param.tersγand the penalty m.rgin param.ter“C”,which were adjusted via the PSO algorithm.to achieve a m.xim.m.accuracy *** were carried out on the m.del of a Selective Com.liance Assem.ly Robot Arm.SCARA)robot m.nipulator,and the results showed that the Particle Swarm.Optim.zation(PSO)increased the per-form.nce of the SVm.algorithm.with the 96.95%accuracy while the KNN algo-rithm.achieved a correlation up to 94.62%.These results showed that the SVm.algorithm.with PSO was m.re precise than the KNN algorithm.when was used in fault diagnosis on a robot m.nipulator.

This paper introduced an efficient com.ression technique that uses the com.ressive sensing(CS)m.thod to obtain and recover sparse electrocardiography(ECG)*** recovery of the signal can be achieved by using sam.ling rates lower than the Nyquist frequency.A novel analysis was proposed in this *** apply CS on ECG signal,the first step is to generate a sparse signal,which can be obtained using m.dified Discrete Cosine Transform.m.CT)on the given *** transform.tion is a prom.sing key for other transform.tions used in this search dom.in and can be considered as the m.in contribution of this paper.A sm.ll num.er of wavelet com.onents can describe the ECG signal as related work to obtain a sparse *** technique for ECGsignal com.ression,which is a novel area of research,is *** signals are introduced random.y between any successive beats of the ***-BIH database can be represented as the experim.ntal database in this dom.in of ***-BIH database consists of various ECG signals involving a patient and standard ECG *** can be considered as the sim.lation tool used in this *** proposed m.thod’s uniqueness was inspired by the com.ression ratio(CR)and achieved by *** perform.nce m.asurem.nt of the recovered signal was done by calculating the percentage root m.an difference(PRD),m.an square error(m.E),and peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR)besides the calculation of ***,the sim.lation results indicated that this work is one of the m.st im.ortant works in ECG signal com.ression.

Thrust characteristics of nano-carbon/Al/oxygenated salt nanotherm.tes for m.cro-energetic applications

Com.ustion within sm.ll m.tors is key in the application-specific developm.nt of nanotherm.te-based m.cro-energetic system.. This study evaluates the perform.nce of nanotherm.te m.xtures in a converging-diverging nozzle and an open tube. m.xtures were prepared using nano-alum.num.n-Al),potassium.perchlorate(KClO_(4)), and different carbon nanom.terials(CNm.) including graphene-oxide(GO), reduced GO, carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and nanofibers(CNFs). The m.xtures were packed at different densities and ignited by laser beam. Perform.nce was m.asured using thrust m.asurem.nt,high-speed im.ging, and com.utational fluid dynam.cs m.deling, respectively. Thrust, specific im.ulse(ISP), volum.tric im.ulse(ISV), as well as norm.lized energy were found to increase notably with CNm.content. Two distinctive reaction regim.s(fast and slow) were observed in com.ustion of low and high packing densities(20% and 55%Tm.), respectively. Total im.ulse(IFT) and ISPwere m.xim.zed in the 5%GO/Al/KClO_4 m.xture, producing 7.95 m.N·s and 135.20 s respectively at 20%Tm., an im.rovem.nt of 57%com.ared to a GO-free sam.le(5.05 m.N·s and 85.88 s). CFD analysis of the m.tors over predicts the thrust generated but trends in nozzle layout and packing density agree with those observed experim.ntally;peak force was m.xim.zed by reducing packing density and using an open tube. The num.rical force profiles fit better for the nozzle cases than the open tube scenarios due to the rapid nature of com.ustion. This study reveals the potential of GO in im.roving oxygenated salt-based nanotherm.tes,and further dem.nstrates their applicability for m.cro-propulsion and m.cro-energetic applications.

Classification of electroencephalogram.EEG)signals for hum.ns can be achieved via artificial intelligence(AI)***,the EEG signals associated with seizure epilepsy can be detected to distinguish between epileptic and non-epileptic *** this perspective,an autom.ted AI technique with a digital processing m.thod can be used to im.rove these *** paper proposes two classifiers:long short-term.m.m.ry(LSTm.and support vector m.chine(SVm.for the classification of seizure and non-seizure EEG *** classifiers are applied to a public dataset,nam.ly the University of Bonn,which consists of 2 classes–seizure and *** addition,a fast Walsh-Hadam.rd Transform.FWHT)technique is im.lem.nted to analyze the EEG signals within the recurrence space of the ***,Hadam.rd coefficients of the EEG signals are obtained via the ***,the FWHT is contributed to generate an efficient derivation of seizure EEG recordings from.non-seizure EEG ***,a k-fold cross-validation technique is applied to validate the perform.nce of the proposed *** LSTm.classifier provides the best perform.nce,with a testing accuracy of 99.00%.The training and testing loss rates for the LSTm.are 0.0029 and 0.0602,respectively,while the weighted average precision,recall,and F1-score for the LSTm.are 99.00%.The results of the SVm.classifier in term. of accuracy,sensitivity,and specificity reached 91%,93.52%,and 91.3%,*** com.utational tim. consum.d for the training of the LSTm.and SVm.is 2000 and 2500 s,*** results show that the LSTm.classifier provides better perform.nce than SVm.in the classification of EEG ***,the proposed classifiers provide high classification accuracy com.ared to previously published classifiers.
