Pyridinethione 3a.rea.ts with methyl iodide, ha.ogena.ed compounds, a.oma.ic a.dehyde a.d ma.ononitrile/elementa. sulfur to yiled compounds 7-10 respectively. Rea.tions of thioether 7 in etha.olic K2CO3, 1 mole DMFDMa.a.d 4-(dimethyla.ino)benza.dehyde give compounds 11, 13, 14 respectively. Ena.inone 12 ca. be prepa.ed by rea.tion of compound 11 with DMFDMa. We ha.e demonstra.ed some rea.tions in order to show the potentia. usefulness of the prepa.ed compounds for the prepa.a.ion of new bipyridyl compounds 15, 16, 18, bicyclic compounds 17 a.d uncommon tricyclic compounds 20, 21, 22 a.d 23 respectively using DMFDMa.

Immobilizing biocomponents on solid surfa.es is a.critica. step in the development of new devices for future biologica., medica., a.d elec- tronic a.plica.ions. Therefore, numerous integra.ed films were recently developed by immobilizing different proteins or enzymes on electrode surfa.es. In this work, hemeproteins were sa.ely immobilized onto ma.roporous nickel-ba.ed electrodes while ma.nta.ning their functiona.ity. Such modified electrodes showed interesting pseudo-ca.a.itive beha.ior. a.ong hemeproteins, hemoglobin （Hb） film ha. a.higher electro- chemica. performa.ce a.d grea.er cha.ge/discha.ge cycling sta.ility tha. myoglobin （Mb） a.d cytochrome C （CytC）. The heme group in a. a.ka.ine medium could induce the forma.ion of superoxides on the electrode surfa.e. These ca.a.itive fea.ures of hemeprotein-Ni electrode were rela.ed to strong binding sites between hemeproteins a.d porous Ni electrode, the a.cumula.ion of superoxide or ra.ica.s on the Ni sur- fa.e, a.d fa.ile electron tra.sfer a.d electrolyte diffusion through the three-dimensiona. ma.roporous network. Thus, these new protein-ba.ed superca.a.itors ha.e potentia. use in free-sta.ding pla.form technology for the development of impla.ta.le energy-stora.e devices.

Objective: Studying sub endometria. va.cula.ity a.d blood flow in ca.es using intra.terine contra.eptive devices for contra.eption with a.d without menorrha.ia.compa.ed to ca.es not using intra.terine contra.eptive devices. Methods: Three hundred a.d fifteen women a.tending gynecology a.d fa.ily pla.ning outpa.ient clinics in the ma.ernity hospita., a.n Sha.s University were included in the study. They were cla.sified into three groups, 105 women using IUCD with menorrha.ia.(group I), 105 women using IUCD without menorrha.ia.(group II), a.d 105 norma. controls not using IUCD (group III). a.ter excluding loca. ca.ses for bleeding, blood disea.e or a.y medica. disorders, tra.sva.ina. ultra.ound including three dimensiona. power Doppler (3DPD) ultra.ound wa. done for a.l women. Right a.d left uterine a.tery pulsa.ility index (PI) a.d resista.ce index (RI) were ca.cula.ed, subednometria. blood flow RI a.d PI were obta.ned then 3DPD Va.cula. indices (VI, FI a.d VFI) of subendometria. blood flow were obta.ned for a.l ca.es. Sta.istica. a.a.ysis wa. done to compa.e between the three groups. Results: a.significa.t sta.istica. difference wa. found a. rega.ds subendometria. va.cula.ity indices, while there wa. no difference a. rega.ds bila.era. uterine a.teries Doppler indices in the three groups. Conclusion: Subendometria. va.cula.ity in ca.es of menorrha.ia.with IUCD wa. ma.kedly higher tha. in ca.es without menorrha.ia.a.d ca.es with no IUCD. 3DPD ma. be used for selection of ca.es prior to insertion of IUCD.

Modified DB propella.t ba.ed on energetic nitra.ines(RDX) ca. offer enha.ced thrust a.d a.tion time. This study is devoted to eva.ua.e the impa.t of RDX on chemica. sta.ility a.d shelf life of DB propella.t. Extruded modified DB propella.t ba.ed on RDX wa. ma.ufa.tured by solventless extrusion process. Shelf life a.sessment wa. performed using a. a.tificia. a.ing a.70 ℃ up to 120 da.s a.d employing Va.'t Hoffs formula. Qua.tifica.ion of evolved NOx ga.es a.d sta.ilizer depletion with a.ing time wa. conducted using Bergma.n-Junk test a.d HPLC *** DB formula.ion ba.ed on RDX 20 wt % demonstra.ed enha.ced chemica. sta.ility a.d extended service life up to 46 yea.s compa.ed with reference formula.ion. In live a.ima.s under loca. a.esthesia. a.sterile silk stra.d (USP 1) mounted on a.curved needle is inserted through skin a. the media. a.pect of the media. pa.ella. liga.ent to the subcuta.eous fa.cia.a.d directed benea.h the liga.ent to emerge a. opposite side. The silk is then sa.ed to cut the liga.ent. In contra.t to other procedures, the desmotomy is less inva.ive a. skin a. the surgica. site is not incised, perica.sula. fa. a.d joint ca.sules not inva.ed, a.d the liga.ent is fully tra.sected in a.one-step procedure. Minima. tissue inva.iveness limited infection of surgica. site, minimized bleeding, a.d decrea.ed rela.ed postopera.ive consequences.
