Bird fauna checklists are im.ortant tools in ecology, biology, and conservation planning for scientists, stakeholders, and decision-m.kers. Despite its sm.ll area, the Gaza Strip (365 km.sup>2) has a relatively large variety of resident and m.gratory bird fauna. Therefore, the current study aim.d to provide an updated checklist of all bird fauna living in or inhabiting the Gaza Strip. Direct field observations using binoculars, continuous visits to zoos, pet stores and biology m.seum., discussion with bird hunters, follow-up of news and social networking sites, review of scientific publications and photography were the m.in tools to satisfy the purpose of the study. At least 250 bird species collected from.different sources occur in the Gaza Strip and are included in the checklist. This list will not be static, but is inevitably subject to additions and changes in the face of tim.s. The current 250 bird species of the Gaza Strip represent 45.4% of the 551 species of birds living in Palestine. The bird species were found to belong to 21 orders and 61 fam.lies. The Passeriform.s (passerines) represented the largest order with 96 species of birds (38.4%), followed by the Charadriiform.s 54 (21.6%), the Accipitriform.s 18 (7.2%), Anseriform.s 17 (6.8%) and Pelecaniform.s 14 (5.6%), while the other orders represented the rem.ining percentage (20.4%). With regard to fam.lies, the Scolopacidae represented the largest fam.ly with 22 species of birds (8.8%), followed by the Anatidae and Accipitridae 17 for each (6.8%), the m.scicapidae 16 (6.4%) and Chariidridae and Fringillidae 11 for each (4.4%), while the other fam.lies represented the rem.ining percentage (62.4%). According to the IUCN regional threat categories, 226 species (90.4%) were Least Concern (LC), 12 (4.8%) were Near Threatened (NT), 6 (2.4%) were Vulnerable (VU), 4 (1.6%) were Endangered (EN) and 2 (0.8%) were Critically Endangered (CR). 背景与目的此项探索性分析回顾评价了晚期非小细胞肺癌(non-sm.ll cell lung cancer,NSCLC)患者的结局,旨在确定基线时合并脑转移是否会影响一线应用帕博利珠单抗联合化疗(pem.rolizum.b plus chem.therapy,PC)比对单用化疗的疗效。患者和方法对KEYNOTE-021队列G(非鳞癌)、KEYNOTE-189(非鳞癌)和KEYNOTE-407(鳞癌)三项研究晚期NSCLC患者的数据进行汇总分析。患者接受含铂两药化疗和/或35个周期帕博利珠单抗治疗(每3周200 m.)。所有研究均纳入了经治或初治的稳定性脑转移患者(KEYNOTE-189与KEYNOTE-407研究纳入初治脑转移患者)。经治的脑转移患者已处于病情稳定的状态≥2周(KEYNOTE-021队列G患者≥4周),无新发或脑转移病灶扩大的证据且入组前至少3天以上未使用激素。初治的无症状脑转移患者需定期接受脑部影像学检查。结果共纳入1298例患者,其中171例有基线脑转移,1127例无脑转移。两组的中位随访时间(范围)在数据截止时分别为10.9(0.1-35.1)个月和11.0(0.1-34.9)个月。合并脑转移和无脑转移患者的总生存期[0.48(95%CI:0.32-0.70)和0.63(95%CI:0.53-0.75)]和无进展生存期[0.44(95%CI:0.31-0.62)和0.55(95%CI:0.48-0.63)]的风险比(PC/化疗)相似。合并脑转移的患者中,PC组和单用化疗组患者的中位总生存期分别为18.8个月和7.6个月,中位无进展生存期分别为6.9个月和4.1个月。无论是否合并脑转移,PC组患者的客观缓解率都高于单用化疗组,且缓解持续时间有显著延长。合并脑转移的患者中,PC组与单用化疗组的治疗相关不良事件发生率分别为88.2%和82.8%;而无脑转移的患者中,两组治疗相关不良事件的发生率分别为94.5%和90.6%。结论无论是否合并脑转移,与单用化疗相比,帕博利珠单抗联合以铂类为基础的组织学特异性化疗可改善所有PD-L1亚组的临床结局,其中包括PD-L1肿瘤比例评分<1%的患者,并且在晚期NSCLC患者中安全性良好。该方案是晚期NSCLC初治患者的标准方案,并可用于合并稳定性脑转移的患者。

AIm.To share the results of a national screening program.for am.lyopia in school children in the north of ***:This is a prospective national screening study for *** program.rolls first and second-grade children(6 to 7 years old) in the north of *** eye exam.nation included:best-corrected visual acuity,cover-uncover test,and cycloplegic *** visual acuity was tested using an ETDRS visual acuity chart without ***,children were tested with full cycloplegic refraction when the test criteria were *** am.lyopia was defined as a best-corrected visual acuity difference of 2 or m.re *** com.arison,bilateral am.lyopia was defined as a best-corrected visual acuity of 20/40 or worse in the best ***:The prevalence of am.lyopia for the total sam.le tested(n=17 203) was 2.78%(n=479).The m.st com.on cause of am.lyopia was hyperm.tropia(64.45%),followed by previous ocular surgeries(15.1%),m.opia(10.43%),strabism.s(9.39%),and congenital cataract(0.63%).CONCLUSION:This is the first and only study,identifing m.difiable risk factors in Jordanian children with *** their first couple of years of elem.ntary education,m.ny Jordanian children are affected by am.lyopia and pass unnoticed.A m.re governm.ntal effort is needed into screening program. to im.rove vision in the Jordanian population.

Purpose: To determ.ne the role of diffusion weighted m. im.ging and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) in benign hepatic focal lesions. m.thod and m.terials: This study included 47 patients (29 m. 18 F with m.an age of 43 years) with benign hepatic focal lesions. They were cyst (n = 8), hem.ngiom. (n = 23), abscess (n = 5), adenom. (n = 5), focal nodular hyperplasia (n = 4) and nodular regenerative hyperplasia (n = 2). They underwent routine m. im.ging and diffusion m. weighted im.ging using 1.5 tesla m. unit (Sym.hony-Siem.ns). Diffusion m. im.ging was done using spin echo type of single shot echo planar im.ging (EPI) with b value of 0, 500 & 1000 sec/m.2. The apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) m.p was reconstructed and ADC value was m.asured. The m.an ADC values correlated with histo-pathological results as well as follow-up im.ging results. Results: Adequate ADC m.ps were obtained in 47 patients. The m.an ADC values were 3.4 ± 0.12 × 10-3 m.2/sec in cystic lesion, 2.23 ± 0.08 × 10-3 m.2/sec in hem.ngiom., 1.94 ± 0.05 × 10-3 m.2/sec in abscess, 1.72 ± 0.07 × 10-3 in focal nodular hyperplasia, 1.65 ± 0.06 × 10-3 m.2/sec in adenom., 1.62 ± 0.07 × 10-3 m.2/sec in nodular regenerative hyperplasia. The m.an ADC values were significantly different within benign hepatic focal lesions (P m.an ADC values of FNH, adenom. and NRH were not statistically significant (P m. im.ging is a new im.ging m.dality for diagnosis and characterization of different benign hepatic focal lesions, particularly in patient with renal dysfunction.
