Comparative study on the hydrogen storage performance of as-milled MgRENi rapid quenched alloy catalyzed by metal sulfides

The composites of Mg_(20)Pr_(1)Sm_(3)Y_(1)Ni_(10)as-quenched alloy and 3 wt.%M(M=CoS,CoS_(2),MoS_(2))catalyst were prepared by high-speed vibration ball *** effects of metal sulfides on the hydrogenation and dehydrogenation dynamics of alloys were *** results show that the as-milled composites contain a large number of amorphous embedded by a small amount of nanocrystals,and there are many point *** ball milling,the crystal grain size in the composites containing CoS is relatively larger,followed by CoS_(2)and MoS_(2)*** hydrogenation,the amorphous phase is crystallized to form Mg_(2)NiH_(4),YH_(3),Pr_(8)H_(18.96),Sm_(3)H_7,Mg,Co or Mo phases,however,Mg_(2)Ni,YH_(2),PrH_(2)and Ni_(3)Y phases appeared after *** maximum hydrogenation capacity of the composites containing CoS,CoS_(2)and MoS_(2)are 3.939,4.265 and 4.507 wt.%,*** hydrogenation saturation ratio of composite containing MoS_(2)is higher than that of the composites containing CoS and CoS_(2).The dehydrogenation activation energy of the composites containing CoS,CoS_(2)and MoS_(2)is 107.76,68.43 and 63.28 ***^(-1).H_(2).On the improvement of hydrogen storage performance of Mg_(20)Pr_(1)Sm_(3)Y_(1)Ni_(10)alloy,the catalytic effect of MoS_(2)sulfide is better than that of CoS_(2)sulfide,and which is better than CoS sulfide.

Tungsten disulfide(WS_(2))has been reported to show negligible stacking dependence under ambient conditions,impeding its further explorations on physical properties and potential ***,we realize efficient modulation of interlayer coupling in bilayer WS_(2)with 3R and 2H stackings by high pressure,and find that the pressure-triggered interlayer coupling and pressure-induced resonant-to-nonresonant transition exhibit prominent stacking dependence,which are experimentally observed for the first time in *** work may unleash the stacking degree of freedom in designing WS_(2)devices with tailored properties correlated to interlayer coupling.

A new chemiluminescence(CL)reagent named 4-amino-5-thiocyanato-phthalyl-hydrazine(iso-luminol-SCN)is synthesized by the bromide-mediated substitution reaction of iso-luminol with sodium thiocyanate in dimethyl formamide(DMF)at room *** CL is observed for iso-luminol-SCN oxidized by hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)in the presence of Fe^(2+),with the CL intensity strongly depending on the concentration of Fe^(2+)and being hardly interferred by other common metal *** on this fact,a flow injection CL method is established for the high sensitive and selective determination of Fe^(2+).The CL intensity was linearly correlated with the concentration of Fe^(2+)in the range of 1.0×10^(–8) mol·L^(-1) to 1.0×10^(–5) mol·L^(-1) following the equation CLnet=166.3c+57.7(c,×10^(–6) mol·L^(-1);n=7;R2=0.9988).The detection limit is calculated to be 3.2×10–9 mol·L^(-1) Fe^(2+)based on the 3S0/K *** relative standard deviation(RSD)was 3.7%for 1.0×10^(–6) mol·L^(-1) Fe^(2+)(n=11),a support for the precision of Fe^(2+)*** recoveries of Fe^(2+)were obtained in the range of 98.8%—101.6%in three real water samples,showing the applicability and reliability by the proposed *** possible CL mechanism is proposed based on the kinetic characteristic of the CL reaction and the CL spectrum.

Vanadium flow batteries(VFBs)have drawn considerable attention as an emerging technology for largescale energy storage systems(ESSs).One of the pivotal challenges is the availability of eligible ion exchange membranes(ICMs)that provide high ion selectivity,proton conductivity,and stability under rigorous ***,a‘side-chain-type’strategy has been employed to fabricate highly stable phenolphthalein-based cardo poly(arylene ether ketone)s(PAEKs)membrane with low area resistance(0.058Ωcm^(2)),in which flexible alkyl spacers effectively alleviated inductive withdrawing effect from terminal ion exchange groups thus enabling a stable *** assembled VFBs based on PAEKs bearing pendent alkyl chain terminated with quaternary ammonium(Q-PPhEK)demonstrated an energy efficiency above 80%over 700 cycles at 160 mA/cm^(2).Such a remarkable results revealed that the side-chain-type strategy contributed to enhancing the ICMs stability in strong oxidizing environment,meanwhile,more interesting backbones would be woken with this design engaging in stable ICMs for VFBs.

Fluoride nanoparticles with multiform crystal structures and morphologies were successfully synthesized by a facile, effective, and environmentally friendly coprecipitation method. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) was used to characterize the nanoparticles. The nanoparticles were modified by PEI, CTAB, PAA and Ci, respectively. It was feasible for function by -COOH and -NH2 groups, due to the surface modification. Moreover, different surface modifications of the nanoparticles were examined. The possible formation mechanisms for fluoride nanoparticles with surface modification were presented in detail. More importantly, it is expected to be widely applied to biomedicine.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of fermented extract of Kushen(Radix Sophorae Flavescentis) or non-fermented ESF on laryngeal neoplasms Hep2 ***:Use 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) assay to explore the effect of fermented ESF and non-fermented ESF on Hep2 cells,and detect the mRNA and protein expression level of Bcl-2,Bax and Caspase-3 with reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) andWestern ***:Both fermented ESF and non-fermented ESF could inhibit laryngeal neoplasm's Hep2 cells,but and the cells did not response to the dilution 1:320 of fermented ESF,nor to the 1:1280 dilution of non-fermented *** time progressed,the dilution 1:80 of fermented ESF and 1:320 dilution of non-fermented ESF could significantly reduce Bcl-2 mRNA and protein expression and down-regulate Caspase-3 mRNA and protein *** mRNA and protein were not expressed in Hep2 ***:Both fermented ESF and non-fermented ESF could inhibit the proliferation of Hep2 cells,and the effect of non-fermented ESF was significantly better than that of the fermented.
