Migration time prediction and assessment of toxic fumes under forced ventilation in underground mines

This study aims to predict the migration time of toxic fumes induced by excavation blasting in underground *** reduce numerical simulation time and optimize ventilation design,several back propagation neural network(BPNN)models optimized by honey badger algorithm(HBA)with four chaos mapping(CM)functions(i.e.,Chebyshev(Che)map,Circle(Cir)map,Logistic(Log)map,and Piecewise(Pie)map)are developed to predict the migration time.125 simulations by the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method are used to train and test the developed *** determination coefficient(R2),the variance accounted for(VAF),the Willmott’s index(WI),the root mean square error(RMSe),the mean absolute percentage error(MAPe),and the sum of squares error(SSe)are utilized to evaluate the model *** evaluation results indicate that the CirHBA-BPNN model has achieved the most satisfactory performance by reaching the highest values of R2(0.9945),WI(0.9986),VAF(99.4811%),and the lowest values of RMSe(15.7600),MAPe(0.0343)and SSe(6209.4),*** wind velocity in roadway(Wv)is the most important feature for predicting the migration time of toxic ***,the intrinsic response characteristic of the optimal model is implemented to enhance the model interpretability and provide reference for the relationship between features and migration time of toxic fumes in ventilation design.

A new,innovative vibration cast-rolling technology of “electromagnetic stirring+dendrite breaking+asynchronous rolling” was proposed with the adoption of sinusoidal vibration of crystallization roller to prepare Ti/Al laminated composites,and the effect of sinusoidal vibration of crystallization roller on composite microstructure was investigated in *** results show that the metallurgical bonding of titanium and aluminum is realized by mesh interweaving and mosaic meshing,instead of transition bonding by forming metal compound *** meshing depth between titanium and aluminum layers (6.6μm) of cast-rolling materials with strong vibration of crystallization roller (amplitude 0.87 mm,vibration frequency 25 Hz) is doubled compared with that of traditional cast-rolling materials (3.1μm),and the composite interfacial strength(27.0 N/mm) is twice as high as that of traditional cast-rolling materials (14.9 N/mm).This is because with the action of high-speed superposition of strong tension along the rolling direction,strong pressure along the width direction and rolling force,the composite linearity evolves from "straight line" with traditional casting-rolling to "curved line",and the depth and number of cracks in the interface increases greatly compared with those with traditional cast-rolling,which leads to the deep expansion of the meshing area between interfacial layers and promotes the stable enhancement of composite quality.

CRISPR/Cas9,presently the most widely used genome editing technology,has provided great potential for functional studies and plant ***,the strict requirement for a protospacer adjacent motif(PAM)has hindered the application of the CRISPR/Cas9 system because the number of targetable genomic sites is ***,the engineered variants Cas9-NG,SpG,and SpRY,which recognize non-canonical PAMs,have been successfully tested in plants(mainly in rice,a monocot).In this study,we evaluated the targeted mutagenesis capabilities of these Cas9 variants in two important Brassica vegetables,Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa ***)and cabbage(Brassica oleracea ***).Both Cas9-NG and SpG induced efficient mutagenesis at NGN PAMs,while SpG outperformed Cas9-NG at NGC and NGT *** achieved efficient editing at almost all PAMs(NRN>NYN),albeit with some self-targeting activity at transfer(T)-DNA *** SpRY-induced mutants were detected in cabbage plants in a PAM-less ***,an adenine base editor was developed using SpRY and TadA8e deaminase that induced A-to-G conversions within target sites using non-canonical ***,the toolboxes developed here induced successful genome editing in Chinese cabbage and *** work further expands the targeting scope of genome editing and paves the way for future basic research and genetic improvement in Brassica.

Precipitation plays a crucial role in the water cycle of Northwest *** accurate precipitation data is crucial for regional water resource management,hydrological forecasting,flood control and drought ***,the applicability of multi-source precipitation products for long time series in Northwest China has not been thoroughly *** this study,precipitation data from 183 meteorological stations in Northwest China from 1979 to 2020 were selected to assess the regional applicability of four precipitation products(the fifth generation of european Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(eCMWF)atmospheric reanalysis of the global climate(eRA5),Global Precipitation Climatology Centre(GPCC),Climatic Research Unit gridded Time Series Version 4.07(CRU TS v4.07,hereafter CRU),and Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission(TRMM))based on the following statistical indicators:correlation coefficient,root mean square error(RMSe),relative bias(RB),mean absolute error(MAe),probability of detection(POD),false alarm ratio(FAR),and equitable threat score(eTS).The results showed that precipitation in Northwest China was generally high in the east and low in the west,and exhibited an increasing trend from 1979 to *** with the station observations,eRA5 showed a larger spatial distribution difference than the other *** overall overestimation of multi-year average precipitation was approximately 200.00 mm and the degree of overestimation increased with increasing precipitation *** multi-year average precipitation of GPCC and CRU was relatively close to that of station *** trend of annual precipitation of TRMM was overestimated in high-altitude regions and the eastern part of Lanzhou with more *** the monthly scale,GPCC performed well but underestimated precipitation in the Tarim Basin(RB=-4.11%),while eRA5 and TRMM exhibited poor accuracy in high-altitude ***5 had a large bias(RB≥120.00%)in winter months

On December 18,2023,an M_(s)6.2 earthquake occurred in Jishishan,Gansu Province,*** earthquake happened in the eastern region of the Qilian Orogenic Belt,which is situated at the forefront of the Ne margin of the Tibetan Plateau(i.e.,Qinghai-Tibet Plateau),encompassing a rhombic-shaped area that intersects the Qilian-Qaidam Basin,Alxa Block,Ordos Block,and South China *** this study,we analyzed the deep tectonic pattern of the Jishishan earthquake by incorporating data on the crustal thickness,velocity structure,global navigation satellite system(GNSS)strain field,and *** discovered that the location of the earthquake was related to changes in the crustal *** results showed that the Jishishan M_(s)6.2 earthquake occurred in a unique position,with rapid changes in the crustal thickness,Vp/Vs,phase velocity,and S-wave *** epicenter of the earthquake was situated at the transition zone between high and low velocities and was in proximity to a low-velocity ***,the source area is flanked by two high-velocity anomalies from the east and *** principal compressive strain orientation near the Lajishan Fault is primarily in the NNe and Ne directions,which align with the principal compressive stress direction in this *** some areas of the Lajishan Fault,the principal compressive strain orientations show the NNW direction,consistent with the direction of the upper crustal fast-wave polarization from local earthquakes and the phase velocity azimuthal *** features underscore the relationship between the occurrence of the Jishishan M_(s)6.2 earthquake and the deep inhomogeneous structure and deep tectonic *** Ne margin of the Tibetan Plateau was thickened by crustal extension in the process of northeastward expansion,and the middle and lower crustal materials underwent structural deformation and may have been filled with salt-containing fluids during the extension *** presence

The paper takes 2076 undergraduate students majoring in foreign languages from 15 Chinese universities as the research subjects to investigate their demand for ideological and political education elements in foreign language *** results show that:(1)Students have high needs for ideological and political education elements in foreign language courses;(2)There are differences in students’needs for ideological and political education elements across different *** have higher demand for dimensions such as personal qualities,cultural literacy,moral cultivation,and patriotism,while their demand for dimensions related to constitutional law and political identity is relatively ***,foreign language majors in Chinese universities should optimize the supply of ideological and political education elements in their courses according to students’needs,and improve the effectiveness of moral education in these courses.
