Hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks(HOFs)are a recent class of porous materials that have garnered considerable research interest owing to their distinctive *** can be constructed through judicious selection of H-bonding motifs,which are further enforced by other weak intermolecular interactions such asπ–πstacking,van der Waals forces,and framework *** advantage of these interactions,we can expand the functional field of HOFs by introducing active ***,researchers have made substantial advancements in using HOFs for chemical sensing,catalysis,proton conduction,biological applications,and *** low bonding energy of H-bonds allows for precise control over the concentration of ligands in solvents,forming diverse HOF *** varied structures offer significant advantages for producing HOFs with photo-responsive and electro-responsive ***,the presence of H-bonds in HOFs results in their inherent lower stability compared to metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and covalent-organic frameworks(COFs)formed via coordination and covalent bonds,*** a result,the pursuit of stable and innovative HOF materials with novel functional sites remains an ongoing *** review provides an overview of recent research progress in the development of new strategies for stable HOF synthesis and applications of HOFs with stimuli-responsive *** first classified all synthetic methods reported to date and discussed the stable HOFs synthesized,as well as their unique properties and *** addition,we summarized the applications of HOFs utilizing their synergistic responses to external stimuli,including photo,electrical,pressure,and chemical *** systematically reviewed stable HOF synthesis and applications,which may lead to a deeper understanding of the structure–activity relationship for these materials and guide future HOF design.

Influences of shale microstructure on mechanical properties and bedding fractures distribution

The difference in microstructure leads to the diversity of shale mechanical properties and bedding fractures distribution *** this paper,the microstructure and mechanical properties of Longmaxi marine shale and Qingshankou continental shale were studied by X-ray diffractometer(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM)with mineral analysis system,and ***,the typical bedding layers area was properly stratified using Focused Ion Beam(FIB),and the effects of microstructure and mechanical properties on the distribution patterns of bedding fractures were *** results show that the Longmaxi marine shale sample contains more clay mineral grains,while the Qingshankou continental shale sample contains more hard brittle mineral grains such as *** Longmaxi marine shale sample,hard brittle minerals with grain sizes larger than 20μm is18.24%and those with grain sizes smaller than 20μm is 16.22%.For Qingshankou continental shale sample,hard brittle minerals with grain sizes larger than 20μm is 40.7%and those with grain sizes smaller than 20μm is 11.82%.In comparison to the Qingshankou continental shale sample,the Longmaxi marine shale sample has a lower modulus,hardness,and *** shales are formed by alternating coarse-grained and fine-grained layers during *** average single-layer thickness of Longmaxi marine shale sample is greater than Qingshankou continental shale *** two types of shale have similar bedding fractures distribution patterns and fractures tend to occur in the transition zone from coarse-grained to fine-grained *** orientation of the fracture is usually parallel to the bedding plane and detour occurs in the presence of hard brittle *** fracture distribution density of the Longmaxi marine shale sample is lower than that of the Qingshankou continental shale sample due to the strong heterogeneity of the Qingshankou continental *** current resea

Freeze-induced acceleration of I–oxidation and the consequent iodination of dissolved organic matter(DOM)contribute to the formation of organoiodine compounds(OICs)in cold *** formed OICs may be a potentially important source of risk and are very closely with the environment and human ***,we investigated the acceleration effects of the freeze process on I–oxidation and the formation of *** comparison to reactive iodine species(RIS)formed in aqueous solutions,I–oxidation and RIS formation were greatly enhanced in frozen solution and were affected by pH,and the content of I–and ***-thaw process further promoted I–oxidation and the concentration of RIS reached 45.7μmol/L after 6 freeze-thaw *** consequent products of DOM iodination were greatly promoted in terms of both concentration and *** total content of OICs ranged from 0.02 to 2.83μmol/L under various *** 183–1197 OICs were detected by Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry,and more than 96.2%contained one or two iodine *** OICs had aromatic structures and were formed via substitution and addition *** findings reveal an important formation pathway for OICs and shed light on the biogeochemical cycling of iodine in the natural aquatic environment.

Hydrogen embrittlement of pipelines depends on the hydrogen-induced cracking behavior of the pipeline steel *** on molecular dynamics analysis,the ferrite–cementite(α-Fe/Fe3C)lamellar atomic structure with the Bagaryatskii orientation relationship was established,and stepwise relaxation of the conjugate gradient energy minimization and constant-temperature and constant-pressure relaxation were performed under NPT(the isothermal–isobaric)*** mechanical property curves of theα-Fe/Fe3C models were obtained under different cementite terminal plane structures,and the evolution of the atomic structure was analyzed in *** addition,the influence of different hydrogen concentrations,different temperatures,different strain rates,changes in voids,and different micro-degrees of freedom on the deformation and failure mechanism of the model was investigated,aiming to provide a reliable way to explore the micro-mechanism of macro-cracking behavior of pipeline steel.

DLF-YOLOF:an improved YOLOF-based surface defect detection for steel plate

Surface defects can affect the quality of steel *** methods based on computer vision are currently applied to surface defect detection of steel ***,their real-time performance and object detection of small defect are still *** improved object detection network based on You Only Look One-level Feature(YOLOF)is proposed to show excellent performance in surface defect detection of steel plate,called ***,the anchor-free detector is used to reduce the network ***,deformable convolution network and local spatial attention module are introduced into the feature extraction network to increase the contextual information in the feature ***,the soft non-maximum suppression is used to improve detection accuracy ***,data augmentation is performed for small defect objects during training to improve detection *** show the average precision and average precision for small objects are 42.7%and 33.5%at a detection speed of 62 frames per second on a single GPU,*** shows that DLF-YOLOF has excellent performance to meet the needs of industrial real-time detection.

Post-treatment of Ti-MWW zeolite with potassium fluoride for propylene epoxidation

Epoxidation of propylene to propylene oxide(PO)with hydrogen peroxide(HPPO)is an environmentally friendly and cost-efficient process in which titanosilicates are used as ***-MWW is a potential industrial catalyst for this process,which involves the addition of HPPO to *** silanol groups generated during secondary crystallization unavoidably result in ring-opening of PO and inefficient decomposition of HPPO,which diminish the PO selectivity and the lifespan of *** address this issue,we conducted post-treatment modifications of the structured Bf-Ti-MWW catalyst with potassium fluoride aqueous *** quenching the silanol groups with potassium fluoride and implanting electron-withdrawing fluoride groups into the Ti-MWW framework,both the catalytic activity and HPPO utilization efficiency were ***,the ring opening reaction of PO was *** a continuous fixed-bed liquid-phase propylene epoxidation reaction,the KF-treated structured Ti-MWW catalyst displayed an exceptionally long lifespan of 2700 h,with a PO yield of 590 g·kg^(-1)·h^(-1).

Early peripheral perfusion index predicts 28-day outcome in patients with septic shock

BACKGROUND:To investigate the prognostic value of the peripheral perfusion index(PPI)in patients with septic ***:This prospective cohort study,conducted at the emergency intensive care unit of Peking University People's Hospital,recruited 200 patients with septic shock between January 2023 and August *** patients were divided into survival(n=84)and death(n=116)groups based on 28-day *** evaluations included laboratory tests and clinical scores,with lactate and PPI values assessed upon admission to the emergency room and at 6 h and 12 h after *** factors associated with mortality were analyzed using univariate and multivariate Cox regression *** operator characteristic(ROC)curve was used to assess predictive *** rates were compared,and Kaplan-Meier survival plots were ***:Compared to the survival group,patients in the death group were older and had more severe liver damage and coagulation dysfunction,necessitating higher norepinephrine doses and increased fl uid *** lactate levels and lower PPI levels at 0 h,6 h,and 12 h were observed in the death *** Cox regression identifi ed prolonged prothrombin time(PT),decreased 6-h PPI and 12-h PPI as independent risk factors for *** area under the curves for 6-h PPI and 12-h PPI were 0.802(95%CI 0.742-0.863,P<0.001)and 0.945(95%CI 0.915-0.974,P<0.001),respectively,which were superior to Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS),Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA)scores(0.864 and 0.928).Cumulative mortality in the low PPI groups at 6 h and 12 h was signifi cantly higher than in the high PPI groups(6-h PPI:77.52%vs.22.54%;12-h PPI:92.04%vs.13.79%,P<0.001).CONCLUSION:PPI may have value in predicting 28-day mortality in patients with septic shock.

In this paper,we study the quantum geometric effects near the locations where classical black hole horizons used to appear in Einstein's classical theory,within the framework of an improved dynamic approach,in which the internal region of a black hole is modeled by the Kantowski-Sachs(KS)spacetime and the two polymerization parameters are functions of the phase space *** detailed analysis shows that the effects are so strong that black and white hole horizons of the effective quantum theory do not exist at all and instead are replaced by transition surfaces,across which the metric coefficients and their inverses are smooth and remain finite,as are the corresponding curvatures,including the Kretschmann *** surfaces always separate trapped regions from anti-trapped *** number of such surfaces is infinite,so the corresponding KS spacetimes become geodesically complete,and no black and white hole-like structures exist in this scheme.
