Dramatical enhancement of circular dichroism in chiral hybrid perovskites via carboxylic hydrogen bond engineering

Chiral hybrid perovskites （CHPs） have been regarded as promising candidates for developing chiroptoelectronics ***,circular dichroism （CD）,as one of the most important characteristics to evaluate the chiroptical activity,remains at a comparatively low level in CHPs compared to other chiral materials,which hinders the successful applications of CHPs in stateof-the-art ***,exploring new methods for enhancing CD in CHPs is urgently needed and remains ***,enhanced CD response has been successfully realized via constructing carboxylic hydrogen bonding in chiralachiral mixed cations perovskites （R/S-PPA）2（ABA）PbBr5（2R/2S）(PPA=1-phenylpropylamine,ABA=4-aminobutyric acid).Compared with the prototype （R/S-PPA）PbBr3（1R/1S）,2R/2S provide intimate connections between organic units and inorganic parts via carboxylic hydrogen bonding N–H···O bridge,contributing new chirality transfer paths.A larger inorganic skeletons’helicity in 2R/2S predicts a high degree of chirality ***,2R/2S exhibit significantly enhanced CD response with an anisotropy factor amplified by an order of ***,bright blue circularly polarized luminescence applications are achieved in 2R/*** work systematically investigates the correlation between CD and hydrogen bonding interaction in CHPs,meanwhile providing a new avenue to develop the application potential of chiral materials in chiroptoelectronics.

A numerical model is proposed for analyzing the effects of added mass and damping on the dynamic behaviors of *** coupled fluid-structure interactions(FSIs)of hydrofoils are analyzed by using the 3-D panel method for the fluid and the finite element method for the *** added mass and damping matrices due to the external fluid of the hydrofoil are asymmetric and computational *** computational inefficiencies associated with these asymmetric matrices are overcome by using a modal reduction technique,in which the first several wet mode vectors of the hydrofoil are employed in the analysis of the FSI *** discretized system of equations of motion for the hydrofoil are solved using the Wilson-6 *** present methods are validated by comparing the computed results with those obtained from the finite element *** is found that the stationary flow is sufficient for determining the wet modes of the hydrofoil under the condition of single-phase potential flow and without phase *** the case of relatively large inflow velocity,the added damping of the fluid can significantly affect the structural responses of the hydrofoil.

On Resilience Against Cyber-Physical Uncertainties in Distributed Nash Equilibrium Seeking Strategies for Heterogeneous Games

This paper designs distributed Nash equilibrium seeking strategies for heterogeneous dynamic cyber-physical *** particular, we are concerned with parametric uncertainties in the control channel of the players. Moreover, the weights on communication links can be compromised by time-varying uncertainties, which can result from possibly malicious attacks,faults and disturbances. To deal with the unavailability of measurement of optimization errors, an output observer is constructed,based on which adaptive laws are designed to compensate for physical uncertainties. With adaptive laws, a new distributed Nash equilibrium seeking strategy is designed by further integrating consensus protocols and gradient search ***, to further accommodate compromised communication weights resulting from cyber-uncertainties, the coupling strengths of the consensus module are designed to be adaptive. As a byproduct, the coupling strengths are independent of any global information. With theoretical investigations, it is proven that the proposed strategies are resilient to these uncertainties and players' actions are convergent to the Nash equilibrium. Simulation examples are given to numerically validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategies.

Drag reduction and hairpin packets of the turbulent boundary layer over the superhydrophobic-riblets surface

This paper presents experimental measurements by the time-resolved particle image velocimetry(TR-PIV)for the turbulent boundary layer(TBL)over the smooth surface,the superhydrophobic(SH)surface,and the superhydrophobic-riblets(SR)surface in an open-surface recirculating water *** Reynolds number based on the wall friction velocity and the thickness of the TBL over the smooth surface is *** SH surface and the SR surface are manufactured by the laser texturing method on the smooth surface and the riblets surface,*** employing the(modified)Clauser method,a superior efficacy of the drag reduction of about 22.1%is obtained on the SR surface,while the drag reduction rate for the SH surface is about 18.7%.Comparing with the SH surface,the declining 2-order statistics in the near-wall region also indicates a significant drag reduction over the SR *** large-scale structure components extracted by the proper orthogonal decomposition are found to generate a majority of the Reynolds shear stress in the region y^(+)>*** strength of the large-scale features over the rough surfaces(SH and SR surfaces)at disparate wall-normal positions is visualized by the Quadrant splitting method and the conditional *** appearance of the large-scale structures such as the hairpin packets characterized by the two-point correlation shows an excellent consistency with the statistics *** hairpin packets over the SH surface seem always smaller and weaker than those over the smooth *** the SR surface,the hairpin packets in the region 0.1≤y/δ<0.3 are the smallest and weakest among those over the three surfaces,while the scale and the strength of the hairpin packets exceed those over the smooth surface in the region 0.3

Topology Optimization for Design of Hybrid Lattice Structures with Multiple Microstructure Configurations

Hybrid lattice structures consisting of multiple microstructures have drawn much attention due to their excellent performance and extraordinary *** work puts forward a novel design scheme of lightweight hybrid lattice structures based on independent continuous mapping(ICM)***,the effective elastic properties of various microstructure configurations serve as a bridge between the macrostructure and the multiple microstructures by the homogenization ***,a concurrent topology optimization model for seeking optimized macroscale topology and the specified microstructures is established and solved by a generalized multi-material interpolation formulation and sensitivity ***,several numerical examples show that hybrid lattice structures with different anisotropic configurations accomplish a better lightweight effect than those with various orthogonal configurations,which verifies the feasibility of the presented ***,anisotropic configurations are more conducive to the sufficient utilization of constitutive *** proposed scheme supplies a reference for the design of hybrid lattice structures and extends the application field of the ICM method.

Calibration of line structured light vision system based on camera’s projective center

Based on the characteristics of line structured light sensor, a speedy method for the calibration was established. With the coplanar reference target, the spacial pose between camera and optical plane can be calibrated by using of the camera’s projective center and the light’s information in the camera’s image surface. Without striction to the movement of the coplanar reference target and assistant adjustment equipment, this calibration method can be implemented. This method has been used and decreased the cost of calibration equipment, simplified the calibration procedure, improved calibration efficiency. Using experiment, the sensor can attain relative accuracy about 0.5%, which indicates the rationality and effectivity of this method.

As an important indicator parameter of fluid identification,fluid factor has always been a concern for ***,when predicting Russell fluid factor or effective pore-fluid bulk modulus,it is necessary to introduce a new rock skeleton parameter which is the dry-rock VP/VS ratio squared(DVRS).In the process of fluid factor calculation or inversion,the existing methods take this parameter as a static constant,which has been estimated in advance,and then apply it to the fluid factor calculation and *** fluid identification analysis based on a portion of the Marmousi 2 model and numerical forward modeling test show that,taking the DVRS as a static constant will limit the identification ability of fluid factor and reduce the inversion *** solve the above problems,we proposed a new method to regard the DVRS as a dynamic variable varying with depth and lithology for the first time,then apply it to fluid factor calculation and ***,the exact Zoeppritz equations are rewritten into a new form containing the fluid factor and DVRS of upper and lower ***,the new equations are applied to the four parameters simultaneous inversion based on the generalized nonlinear inversion(GNI)*** testing results on a portion of the Marmousi 2 model and field data show that dynamic DVRS can significantly improve the fluid factor identification ability,effectively suppress *** synthetic and filed data tests also demonstrate that the GNI method based on Bayesian deterministic inversion(BDI)theory can successfully solve the above four parameter simultaneous inversion problem,and taking the dynamic DVRS as a target inversion parameter can effectively improve the inversion accuracy of fluid *** these results completely verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.

A simple scoring system to predict early recurrence of Bismuth–Corlette type IV perihilar cholangiocarcinoma

Background:Early recurrence has been reported to be predictive of a poor prognosis for patients with perihilar cholangiocarcinoma(pCCA)after *** objective of our study was to construct a useful scoring system to predict early recurrence for Bismuth–Corlette type IV pCCA patients in clinic and to investigate the value of early recurrence in directing post-operative surveillance and adjuvant ***:In total,244 patients who underwent radical resection for type IV pCCA were *** on clinicopathological characteristics,perioperative details and survival outcomes were *** curves were generated using the Kaplan–Meier *** and multivariate logistic-regression models were used to identify factors associated with early ***:Twenty-one months was defined as the cutoff point to distinguish between early and late *** and multivariate analysis revealed that CA19-9 level>200 U/mL,R1 resection margin,higher N category and positive lymphovascular invasion were independent predictors of early *** scoring system was constructed *** early-recurrence rates of patients with scores of 0,1,2,3,4,and 5 were 23.9%,38.7%,60.0%,78.6%,83.4%,and 100%,*** therapy was significantly associated with higher overall survival rate for patients with early recurrence,but not for those with late *** in the early-recurrence group with scores2 had better prognoses after adjuvant ***:A simple scoring system using CA19-9 level,N category,resection margin and lymphovascular invasion status could predict early recurrence,and thus might direct post-operative surveillance and adjuvant therapy for patients with type IV pCCA.

Purification of carbazole by solvent crystallization under two forced cooling modes

To identify the effect of solvents and anthracene on the purification of carbazole,the solvent crystallization of carbazole was investigated with xylene,chlorobenzene and tetrachloroethylene(TCE)as solvents under two forced circulation cooling(FCC)*** co-crystalline experimental data were obtained from runs carried out at different anthracene levels between 1%(mass)and 10%(mass).The results showed that a uniform flake carbazole crystal obtained when using xylene and chlorobenzene under the FCC-1 mode with gradual cooling ***,fine flake crystals grown under shock cooling of FCC-2 *** is beneficial to improving the purity of carbazole with chlorobenzene as solvent under cooling mode of *** could promote the growth of carbazole in solution,and it has a significant influence on the purification of carbazole.
