Hydrogen production by photoelectrochemical(PEC) water splitting converts the inexhaustible supply of solar radiation to storable H2 as clean energy and thus has received widespread *** efficiency of PEC water splitting is largely determined by the properties of the ***-dimensional(2 D) layered transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs) are promising candidates for photoelectrodes due to their atomic layer thickness,tunable bandgap,large specific surface area,and high carrier ***,the construction of 2 D TMDs heterostructures provides freedom in material design,which facilitates the further improvement of PEC water *** review begins by describing the mechanism of PEC water splitting and the advantages of 2 D TMDbased heterostructures for photo ***,the design considerations of the heterostructures for enhanced PEC efficiency are comprehensively reviewed with a focus on material selection,band engineering,surface modification,and long-term ***,current challenges and future perspectives for the development of photoelectrodes based on 2 D TMDs heterostructures are addressed.

We show some new results on the observability of Boolean control networks(BCNs). First, to study the observability, we combine two BCNs with the same transition matrix into a new BCN. Then, we propose the concept of a reachable set that results in a given set of initial states, and we derive four additional necessary and sufficient conditions for the observability of BCNs. In addition, we present an algorithm and construct an observability graph to determine the observability of BCNs. Finally, we illustrate the obtained results using three numerical examples.

Drug-induced liver injury(DILI),which refers to liver damage caused by a drug or its metabolites,has emerged as an important cause of acute liver failure(ALF)in recent ***-induced ALF in animal models mimics the pathology of DILI in humans;thus,these models are used to study the mechanism of potentially effective treatment *** stromal cells(MSCs)possess immunomodulatory properties,and they alleviate acute liver injury and decrease the mortality of animals with chemically-induced ***,we summarize some of the existing research on the interaction between MSCs and immune cells,and discuss the possible mechanisms underlying the immunomodulatory activity of MSCs in chemically-induced *** conclude that MSCs can impact the phenotype and function of macrophages,as well as the differentiation and maturation of dendritic cells,and inhibit the proliferation and activation of T lymphocytes or B *** also have immunomodulatory effects on the production of cytokines,such as prostaglandin E2 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha-stimulated gene 6,in animal ***,MSCs have significant benefits in the treatment of chemically-induced ALF by interacting with immune cells and they may be applied to DILI in humans in the near future.

ECFD （erroneous cell tail drop）, a buffer management optimization strategy is suggested which can improve the utilization of buffer resources in satellite ATM （asynchronous transfer mode） networks. The strategy, in which erroneous cells caused by satellite channel and the following cells that belong to the same PDU （protocol data Unit） are discarded, concerns non-real-time data services that use higher layer protocol for retransmission. Based on EPD （early packet drop） policy, mathematical models are established with and without ECTD. The numerical results show that ECTD would optimize buffer management and improve effective throughput （goodput）, and the increment of goodput is relative to the CER （cell error ratio） and the PDU length. The higher their values are, the greater the increment. For example, when the average PDU length values are 30 and 90, the improvement of goodput are respectively about 4% and 10%.

A flight experimental platform for synchrophasing control based on a small propeller UAV

Turboprop engine has the advantages of high efficiency and high thrust, but it has not been widely used in the civil field because of the noise excited by the low speed propellers. Propeller synchrophasing control is an active noise control method without increasing the weight of the airframe, which can attenuate the noise level in the cabin by controlling the relative phase among multiple propellers. It is generally accepted that altitude and airspeed have a great influence on the noise reduction effect of propeller synchrophasing, but there is no theoretical research about how these two factors affect the noise level. Therefore, flight experiment is considered to be a credible way. However, flight experiments of propeller synchrophasing control in turboprop aircraft have been accomplished in few countries due to enormous cost and inconvenience. An experimental platform of synchrophasing control based on a two-propeller small unmanned air vehicle(UAV) is proposed which can carry out the flight experiment research in a low-cost way. The phase angle sensor, the FOC-based scheme of motor driving, the all-slave synchrophasing control and the coordination between speed and phase difference control are presented in the UAV platform to meet its synchrophasing control precision requirement, experimental results prove that all of them can significantly enhance the performance of synchrophasing control. Noise characteristics of propellers are studied in the flight experiments, the noise predicted by the noise model is highly consistent with the actual measured noise, which verifies that the noise characteristics of small UAV accord with propeller signature theory. Based on the noise model, propeller synchrophasing has a steady effect to minimizing noise in the UAV platform. These show that the UAV platform is a feasible solution for propeller synchrophasing research.

Characterizing the mechanical properties of soft materials and biological tissues is of great significance for understanding their deformation behaviors. In this paper, a regional stretching method is proposed to measure the elastic and hyperelastic properties of a soft material with an adhesive surface or with the aid of glue. Theoretical and dimensional analyses are performed to investigate the regional stretch problem for soft materials that obey the neo-Hookean model, the Mooney-Rivlin model, or the Arruda-Boyce model. Finite element simulations are made to determine the expressions of the dimensionless functions that correlate the stretch response with the constitutive parameters. Thereby, an inverse approach is established to determine the elastic and hyperelastic properties of the tested materials. The regional stretch method is also compared to the indentation technique. Finally, experiments are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Ultrasonic vibration with different powers from 0 k W to 1.6 k W was applied during the tungsten inert gas welding-brazing of Mg/*** microstructures,mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the ultrasonic assisted tungsten inert gas（U-TIG） welded-brazed Mg/Ti joint were *** results showed that,without being subjected to ultrasonic vibration,coarse columnar α-Mg grains occurred in the fusion zone of Mg/Ti ***,with ultrasonic power of 1.2 k W,the average grain size of columnar α-Mg grains was refined from 200 μm to about 50 μm and the tensile strength of joints increased^18% up to 228 ***,high fraction of grain boundaries was introduced by grain refinement,contributing to improve the corrosion resistance in two ways：（i） accelerating the formation of Mg（OH）2protective layer and（ii） reducing the mismatch and disorder between Mg（OH）2 protective layer and Mg alloy surface.

In-situ study on hydrogen bubble evolution in the liquid Al/solid Ni interconnection by synchrotron radiation X-ray radiography

Synchrotron X-ray radiography was used to carry out an in-situ observation of the hydrogen bubble evolution in the liquid Al/solid Ni interconnection. The individual bubble mainly grows in a stochastic way during heating. The size distribution for groups of bubbles follows a Gaussian distribution in the early stage and Lifshitz-Slyozov-Wagner(LSW) diffusion controlled distribution in the final stage. The intermetallic compounds(IMCs) first form during solidification, following by the hydrogen bubbles. The bubbles between two adjacent Al3Ni grains grow unidirectionally along the liquid channel, with the bottom being impeded by the Al3Ni phase and the radius of the growth front being smaller. For the bubbles at triple junctions, they grow along the liquid channel and the crack with morphology transition.

Effect of warm bladder irrigation fluid for benign prostatic hyperplasia patients on perioperative hypothermia, blood loss and shiver: A meta-analysis

Objective:To find out whether warm bladder irrigation fluid can decrease the occurrence of perioperative hypothermia,blood loss and shiver in patients treated with benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Method:A comprehensive literature review and meta-analysis that included randomized controlled trials(RCTs)related to temperature of irrigation fluid in the perioperative treatment for BPH was taken by *** relevant literature were searched in Chinese database,such as Retrieval Chinese Journal Full-text Database,VIP Journal Database,Wanfang database,as well as in English search engine and database,including Embase,Cochrane and Medline till January *** study quality was assessed by recommended standards from Cochrane Handbook(version 5.1.0).Results:A total of 28 RCTs and 3858 patients were *** results showed that the incidences of shiver(risk ratio[RR]Z 0.32,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.28e0.36,pluid were lower than the group having room-temperature ***-temperature irrigation fluid group caused a greater drop in body temperature compared to warm irrigation fluid group(pluid can decrease the drop of body temperature and the incidence of hypothermia and shiver during and after the operation for *** irrigation fluid should be considered as a standard practice in BPH surgeries.

A dynamic geometry system,as an important application in the field of geometric constraint solving,is widely used in elementary mathematics education;moreover,the dynamic geometry system is also a fundamental environment for automated theorem proving in *** a geometric constraint solving process,a situation involving a critical point is often encountered,and geometric element degeneracy may occur at this ***,the degeneracy situation must be substantively focused on during the learning and exploration ***,many degeneracy situations cannot be completely presented even by the well-known dynamic geometry *** this paper,the mechanisms causing the degeneracy of a geometric element are analyzed,and relevant definitions and formalized descriptions for the problem are provided according to the relevant modern Euclidean geometry *** solve the problem,the data structure is optimized,and a domain model design for the geometric element and the constraint relationships thereof in the dynamic geometry system are formed;furthermore,an update algorithm for the element is proposed based on the novel domain *** addition,instances show that the proposed domain model and the update algorithm can effectively cope with the geometric element degeneracy situations in the geometric constraint solving process,thereby achieving unification of the dynamic geometry drawing and the geometric intuition of the user.
