Effect of nitrite on hydrolysis-acidification, biogas production and microbial community in semi-continuous two-phase anaerobic digestion of sewage sludge

Previous study found that the pre-treatment of sewage sludge with nitrite improves the biogas production during the mono/two-phase anaerobic digestion (AD) using batch biochemical methane potential tests.In this study,the effects of nitrite on hydrolysisacidification,biogas production,volatile solids destruction and microbial composition in semi-continuous two-phase AD of sewage sludge were investigated.The addition of nitrite promotes sludge organic matter solubilization (+484%) and VFAs production (+98.9%),and causes an increase in the VS degradation rate during the AD process (+8.7%).The comparison of biogas production from the acidogenic and methanogenic reactors with or without the addition of nitrite implies that the nitrite has no significant effect on the overall biogas production of two-phase sludge AD process.High-throughput sequencing analysis shows that the microbial communities of bacteria and archaea in two-phase AD reactors significantly changes after the addition of nitrite.Vulcanibacillus (bacteria) and Candidatus Methanofastidiosum (archaea) become the dominant genera in the acidogenic and methanogenic reactors with the nitrite respectively.These findings provide new insights about using nitrite to promote the organic matter degradation of sewage sludge in a semicontinuous two-phase AD system.

Slightly acidic electrolyzed water(SAEW,pH 6.0-6.5)is an ideal and environmentally-friendly disinfectant,which was used to prevent and control bacterial infections on farms.This work aims to investigate the inactivation effectiveness of SAEW in inactivating microbes in a disinfection channel.The bactericidal efficiency of SAEW on equipment surfaces was compared to two commercial disinfectants,Kuei A bromide solution(KAS,5:1000 v/v)and Glutaraldehyde solution(GS,5:1000 v/v).The disinfection effectiveness of SAEW in inactivating Salmonella enteritidis(S.enteritidis)on equipment surfaces in the disinfection channel was evaluated,and a model was developed using multiple linear regression analysis.Results indicated that SAEW was significantly(p0.05).In addition,available chlorine concentration(ACC)was an important factor than other factors,and the inactivation efficiency of Salmonella enteritidis sprayed by SAEW treatment was different between iron materials,kits and clothing surfaces(iron>kit>clothing).

To investigate the mechanical properties of embedded honeycomb plates with high efficiency and accuracy, a new multilayered equivalent finite element method(FEM) model is proposed. A series of FEM numerical studies(modal analysis, static analysis, and shock spectrum analysis) are performed. The goal is to compare the errors produced by the multilayered equivalent method and by existing equivalent approaches. The obtained results indicate that the proposed model shows good agreement with the original plate. Moreover, based on the new model, a parametric study correlating the microstructure parameters(embedded depth/cell size) to modal frequency is proposed and a multiparameter equation for frequency and embedded depth/cell size is established to serve as a basis for structural optimization design.

Ambiguous temperature difference in aerodynamic levitation process: Modelling, solving and application

The aerodynamic levitation provides an efficient technique for the research on thermophysical properties and solidification behavior of refractory materials. However, there is a nonnegligible temperature differences across sample, causing unexpected uncertainty of measurement, such as, thermal expansivity and undercooling limit. We establish thermal filed model with properly simplified boundary condition, and derive quantitative expressions of this ambiguous temperature difference. Here we show that the temperature difference not only related to the average temperature, relative size and thermal conductivity of sample, but significantly influenced by the rotation pattern of sample. A huge temperature differences is almost inevitable when the sample with low thermal conductivity and high melting point is smelted in stationary suspension pattern, however, a drastically reduction of temperature difference can be fulfilled by simply making the sample rotation in up to down pattern. The thermal filed simulation was used to confirm the validity of these theoretical expressions. This work shed light on temperature difference in aerodynamic levitation. Based on this work, one can simply estimate the extent of temperature difference across the sample, and regulated that conveniently if needed, which benefit for novel material preparation and solidification mechanism study based on this technique.

Despite extensive efforts in designing and preparing switchable underwater adhesives,it is not easy to regulate the underwater adhesion strength locally and remotely.Here,we design and synthesize photoreversible copolymer of poly[dopamine methacrylamide-co-methoxyethyl-acrylate-co-7-(2-methacryloyloxyethoxy)-4-methylcoumarin].Due to the dynamic formation and breaking of chemical crosslinking networks within the smart adhesives,the material shows widely tunable adhesion strength from∼150 to∼450 kPa and long-range reversible maneuverability under orthogonal 254 and 365 nm ultraviolet light stimulation via the coumarin dimerization and cycloreversion.Moreover,the adhesive exhibits good circulation performance and stability in an acid–base environment.It also demonstrated that the bolt can be coated with the smart adhesive material for on-demand bonding.This design principle opens the door to the development of remotely controllable high-performance smart underwater adhesives.

中国马克思实践观研究的理论成就在于发现马克思实践观的确立在马克思哲学变革中的里程碑意义,“实践唯物主义”“实践本体论”“实践观点的思维方式”“实践生存论”等是这一研究逻辑递进的几种代表性理论成果。然而,它们都没有走出实践本体论理论困境,原因在于诸论者都把马克思实践观中的实践作为概念化了的概念来理解,或者说都是在概念化了的实践概念基础上讨论问题。也就是说,问题出在对马克思实践观中的实践概念的理解上,他们不是把它理解为用实践概念来表达的具体实践活动,而是理解为被抽掉具体实践形式的实践概念一般。因此,要真正走出马克思实践观研究的理论困境,就必须把问题(对象)置于具体实践活动中来把握。

企业竞争优势越来越依赖其所处的利益相关者之间的资源、权利及其关系,但现有的利益相关者管理理论研究视角各异,缺乏系统梳理。以文本分析方法为基础,基于Web of Science核心数据库的文献,系统论述了利益相关者研究的知识演进研究逻辑和主要议题框架。研究发现:从管理学视角看,利益相关者管理理论研究主要遵循"个体-关系-网络"的逻辑演进,并以相应的知识图谱聚类展开。利用重点文献对利益相关者研究的知识演进分析,进一步发现利益相关者管理理论的议题框架可分为利益相关者管理理论研究重要性、研究逻辑与主题、研究方法与机理研究;根据主体属性及个体、关系到网络的研究逻辑,需要分别从主体、关系和网络三个方面解决好利益相关者主体的个体属性、关系与网络的整体属性的割裂状态。
