Biomineralization Precursor Carrier System Based on Carboxyl- Functionalized Large Pore Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles

Bone and teeth are derived from intrafibrillarly mineralized collagen fibrils as the second level of hierarchy.According to polymer-induced liquid-precursor process,using amorphous calcium phosphate precursor(ACP)is able to achieve intrafibrillar mineralization in the case of bone biomineral in vitro.Therefore,ACP precursors might be blended with any osteoconductive scaffold as a promising bone formation supplement for in-situ remineralization of collagens in bone.In this study,mesoporous silica nanoparticles with carboxyl-functionalized groups and ultra large-pores have been synthesized and used for the delivery of liquid like biomimetic precursors(ACP).The precursor delivery capacity of the nanoparticles was verified by the precursor release profile and successful mineralization of 2D and 3D collagen models.The nanoparticles could be completely degraded in 60 days and exhibited good biocompatibility as well.The successful translational strategy for biomineralization precursors showed that biomineralization precursor laden ultra large pore mesoporous silica possessed the potential as a versatile supplement in demineralized bone formation through the induction of intrafibrillar collagen mineralization.

Distributed secondary control,depending on the sparse communication topology,excels for its flexibility and expandability in microgrids.The communication network plays an important role in microgrid control,but it is vulnerable to cyber-attacks.In this paper,the mathematical model for false data injection(FDI)attacks in AC microgrids is established,and the corresponding detection mechanism based on the morphological gradient is designed for the location of cyber-attacks in communication topology.Then,we propose a median-based resilient consensus voltage control strategy to mitigate the negative effects caused by malicious cyber-attacks and ensure the safe operation of the microgrid.Combining the detection method and resilient consensus control,a novel eventdriven mitigation scheme is derived to improve the resilience of microgrids under cyber-attacks.Finally,a tested microgrid model composed of five different distributed generation(DG)units is simulated in the MATLAB/Simulink environment.The feasibility and effectiveness of the presented detection mechanism and resilient consensus strategy are verified by simulation results applying different scenarios.

Light field(LF)cameras record multiple perspectives by a sparse sampling of real scenes,and these perspectives provide complementary information.This information is beneficial to LF super-resolution(LFSR).Compared with traditional single-image super-resolution,LF can exploit parallax structure and perspective correlation among different LF views.Furthermore,the performance of existing methods are limited as they fail to deeply explore the complementary information across LF views.In this paper,we propose a novel network,called the light field complementary-view feature attention network(LF-CFANet),to improve LFSR by dynamically learning the complementary information in LF views.Specifically,we design a residual complementary-view spatial and channel attention module(RCSCAM)to effectively interact with complementary information between complementary views.Moreover,RCSCAM captures the relationships between different channels,and it is able to generate informative features for reconstructing LF images while ignoring redundant information.Then,a maximum-difference information supplementary branch(MDISB)is used to supplement information from the maximum-difference angular positions based on the geometric structure of LF images.This branch also can guide the process of reconstruction.Experimental results on both synthetic and real-world datasets demonstrate the superiority of our method.The proposed LF-CFANet has a more advanced reconstruction performance that displays faithful details with higher SR accuracy than state-of-the-art methods.

Silicon/carbon composites are promising alternatives to current graphite anodes in commercial lithiumion batteries(LIBs)because of their high capacity and excellent safety.Nevertheless,the unsatisfactory fastcharging capability and cycle stability of Si/C composites caused by slow charge transport capability and huge volume change under industrial electrode conditions severely hamper their development.Here,a novel Si/C anode was fabricated by homogeneously depositing amorphous C-Si nanolayers on graphite(C-Si@graphite).C-Si nanolayers with uniformly dispersed sub-nanometer Si particles in 3D carbon skeleton significantly boost electron and Li-ion transport and efficiently relieve Si's agglomeration and volume change.As a result,the tailored C-Si@graphite electrodes show an excellent rate capacity(760.3 mAh·g^(-1)at 5.0C)and long cycle life of over 1000 cycles at 1.0C and800 cycles at 2.0C under industrial electrode conditions.In addition,the assembled full cells(C-Si@graphite,anode;Li[Ni_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)]O_(2),cathode)present superior fastcharging capability(240.4 Wh·kg^(-1),charging for16.2 min,3.0C)and long cycle life(80.7%capacity retention after 500 cycles at 1.0C),demonstrating the massive potential of C-Si@graphite for practical application.

The physical connections and logical relationships between microgrids and communication networks allow microgrids to develop into typical cyber-physical systems(CPSs).With the extensive use of open communication mechanisms,the impact of cyber disturbances in public communication networks cannot be diminshed.In this paper,a parameter optimal method for a distributed secondary controller based on the robust control theory and consensus algorithm is presented to enhance the robustness of a secondary control system under data disturbance,parameter perturbation,and time delay.First,a distributed secondary control strategy of microgrids is demonstrated that coordinates frequency and voltage restoration and power sharing.Then,considering the impact of cyber events on the secondary control,a distributed robust controller gain design method is proposed to satisfy the H∞ performance index.The solution of the distributed robust control is transformed into a linear matrix in equation problem and latency margin is simultaneously obtained.Finally,a test microgrid CPS is simulated with and without time delay to investigate the impact of cyber events on system operational states and the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.

Transient Stability Analysis and Design of VSGs with Different DC-Link Voltage Controllers

Virtual synchronous control has been widely studied for the advantages of emulating inertia for voltage source converters (VSCs). A constant dc-link voltage is usually assumed in existing literature to estimate transient stability of virtual synchronous generators (VSGs). However, actual power supply in the dc-side of VSGs is limited and different dc-link voltage controllers are needed to achieve power balance between DC side and AC side. Addition of dc-link voltage controller has great influence on transient behavior of VSGs, which has not been investigated by previous research. To fill this gap, this paper gives insights into the effect of dc-link voltage dynamics on transient stability of VSGs. First, two typical kinds of VSGs with dc-link voltage controllers are introduced. Then, mathematical models considering dc-link dynamics are established and the effect of dc-link voltage controllers on transient synchronization stability of VSGs is revealed through equal area criterion (EAC). It is found that dc-link voltage controller would reduce stability margin of VSGs and design-oriented transient stability analysis is carried out quantitively using critical clearing time (CCT). Finally, simulation results are given to validate correctness of theoretical analysis.

Seeking highly active,stable and low-cost electrocatalysts used as both cathode and anode in overall water splitting is very crucial for the sustainable utilization of resources.Herein,a highly efficient and long-term stable oxygen evolution reaction(OER)electrocatalyst Mn-doped CoP on foam Ni(MnCoP/NF)is synthesized by the one-step electrodeposition method.Owing to the synergetic effect among the Sepaktakraw-like morphology,the doped Mn element and the binder-free synthesis method,MnCoP/NF displays superior electrocatalytic activity and electrochemical stability toward OER.MnCoP/NF only requires an overpotential of 266 mV to deliver the current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2),demonstrating an excellent electrocatalytic activity even better than that of commercial catalysts of IrO_(2)/NF.And the retention rate of potential can still be maintained at 99.57%after the durability test as long as 240 h,indicating the prominent electrochemical stability of MnCoP/NF.Simultaneously,MnCoP/NF could be directly used as both cathode and anode in the two-electrode system for overall water splitting,exhibiting a low potential of 1.97 V for reaching 100 mA·cm^(-2).Impressive long-term stability of MnCoP/NF is also observed by limited activity decay after 240-h durability tests at 10 and 100 mA·cm^(-2).Thus,this study illustrates a feasible approach to the rational design of highly active and stable electrocatalyst and also provides valuable insights on the improved electrocatalytic performance of water splitting by Mn doping.
