Geochemical Characteristics and Migration Pathways of Ordovician Carbonate Oil Reservoirs in the Tuoputai Area,Tarim Basin,Northwestern China

Exploration potential is huge and the oil resources are rich in the Ordovician reservoirs of the Tarim ***,the mechanism of hydrocarbon accumulation is complex and not yet fully *** the Tuoputai area,the hydrocarbon migration pathways and characteristics of deep hydrocarbon accumulation are revealed through analyses of the physical data of rich oil and gas,the geochemical parameters of oil,and fluid *** results show that the Ordovician oils in the Tuoputai area have the same geochemical characteristics as the mixed oil from the Lower Cambrian source rock and the Middle–Upper Ordovician source *** Ordovician reservoirs have been charged three times:in the late Caledonian,late Hercynian,and Himalayan *** charging occurred in the Hercynian stage,in particular,as it is the main filling period of *** north-northeast(NNE)-trending TP12 CX major fault,active in in these times and is dominant migration channel of hydrocarbon,but there is segmentation affected by the difference of *** maturity is higher in the south than in the north and is abnormally high near the major *** related to migration indicate that oil migrated northeastward along the NNE-trending TP12 CX major fault and adjusted laterally along the secondary faults and weathering crust,forming the present characteristics of oil and gas distribution.

Comparison of clinical curative effect between open surgery and endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm in China

Objective To compare clinical curative effects of open surgery （OS） or endovascular repair （EVAR） for patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm （AAA） in China. Data sources We performed a comprehensive search of both English and Chinese literatures involving case studies on retrograde OS or EVAR of AAA in China from January 1976 to December 2010. Study selection According to the inclusion criteria, 76 articles were finally analyzed to compare patient characteristics, clinical success, complications, and prognosis. Results We analyzed a total of 2862 patients with 1757 undergoing OS （OS group） and 1105 undergoing EVAR （EVAR group）. There was no significant difference in the success rate of the procedures. Operative time, length of ICU stay, fasting time, duration of total postoperative stay, blood loss, and blood transfusion requirements during the procedure were significantly lower in the EVAR group. A 30-day follow up revealed more cardiac, renal, pulmonary, and visceral complications in the OS group （P 〈0.01）. Low-limb ischemia, however, was more common in the EVAR group （P 〈0.05）. The 30-day mortality rate, including aorta-related and non-aorta related mortality, was significantly lower in the EVAR group （P 〈0.01）. In the follow-up period, there were more patients with occlusions of artificial vessel and late endoleak in the EVAR group （P 〈0.01）. The overall late mortality rate was higher in the OS group （P 〈0.01）, especially non-aorta-related late mortality and mortality during the fourth to the sixth year （P 〈0.01）. Conclusions EVAR was safer and less invasive for AAA patients. Patients suffered fewer complications and recovered sooner. However, complications such as artificial vessel occlusion, low-limb ischemia, and endoleak were common in EVAR. Clinicians should carry out further research to solve these complications and improve the efficacy of EVAR.

In vivo Confocal Microscopy Evaluation of Meibomian Gland Dysfunction in Dry Eye Patients with Different Symptoms

Background：Dry eye patients suffer from all kinds of ***,the clinical signs evaluation does not disclose any obvious difference in routine examination;in vivo confocal microscopy （IVCM） is a powerful tool for ocular surface *** study aimed to clarify meibomian gland （MG） alterations in dry eye patients with different symptoms and to compare the findings using ***：A total of sixty patients were recruited,all subjected to Ocular Surface Disease Index （OSDI） and Salisbury Eye Evaluation Questionnaire （SEEQ）,and questionnaires for the assessment of dry eye symptoms before clinical sign examinations were given to the ***,IVCM was applied to observe MG＇s *** analysis was performed using the t-test,Mann-Whitney U-test and Spearman correlation *** differences were statistically significant when P 〈 ***：In the severe symptom group,OSDI and SEEQ scores were significantly higher （P 〈 0.05） compared with the mild symptoms *** other clinical sign examinations had no statistical difference in the two groups （P 〉 0.05）.However,all the IVCM-observed data showed that patients with severe symptoms had more significant fibrosis in MG （acinar unit area 691.87 ± 182.01 μm^2 for the severe,992.17 ± 170.84 μm^2 for the mild;P 〈 0.05） and severer decrease in the size of MG acinar units than those observed in patients with mild symptoms （MG acinar unit density [MGAUD] 70.08 ± 18.78 glands/mm2,MG acinar unit longest diameter [MGALD] 51.50 ± 15.51 μm,MG acinar unit shortest diameter [MGASD] 20.30 ± 11.85 μm for the severe,MGAUD 89.53 ± 39.88 glands/mm2,MGALD 81.57 ± 21.14 μm,MGASD 42.37 ± 14.55 μm for the mild;P 〈 0.05）.Dry eye symptoms were negatively correlated with MG confocal microscopic parameters and positively correlated with conjunctival inflammatory cells and Langerhans cells （P 〈 0.05）.Conclusions：IVCM application provides a strong support to differentiate dry eye patients with different symptoms

Matching Realization of U_q(sl_(n+1)) of Higher Rank in the Quantum Weyl Algebra W_q(2n)

In the paper, we further realize the higher rank quantized universal enveloping algebra Uq（sln＋1） as certain quantum differential operators in the quantum Weyl algebra Wq （2n） defined over the quantum divided power algebra Sq（n） of rank n. We give the quantum differential operators realization for both the simple root vectors and the non-simple root vectors of Uq（sln＋1）. The nice behavior of the quantum root vectors formulas under the action of the Lusztig symmetries once again indicates that our realization model is naturally matched.

Methylprednisolone and tetrandrine in combination with direct current electrical field for treating acute spinal cord injury

BACKGROUND： The direct current electrical field can effectively promote the regeneration of the spinal cord; moreover, methylprednisolone （MP） can relieve secondary edema after spinal cord injury. Tetrandrine （Tet） is an effective component of hanfangji and can protect the effect of spinal cord and axis-cylinder. Whether direct current electrical field combining with MP or Tet has synergic or strengthening effect on treating complete spinal cord injury or not should be studied further. OBJECTIVE：To study the effect of direct current electrical field assisted by MP and Tet on treating spinal cord injury. DESIGN： Randomized controlled animal study. SETTING： People＇s Hospital of Hainan Province. MATERIALS： A total of 45 healthy hybrid dogs, of both genders, weighing 10 - 12 kg, aged 1.5 - 2 years, were provided by Animal Center of Hainan Province. Somatosensory evoked potential meter （DANTEC Company）, IBAS-2.0 imaging analysis meter （Germany）, and self-made electronic stimulator. METHODS： The experiment was carried out in Hainan People＇s Hospital from May 2001 to June 2004. All experimental dogs were randomly divided into 4 groups： control group （n =9）, electrostimulating group （n =12）, MP ＋ electrostimulating group （n =12） and Tet ＋ electrostimulating group （n =12）. ① After anesthesia, Allen WD method was used to induce complete spinal cord injury. The metal bar, which was 10 cm in height fell freely and vertically hit the spinal cord to provide a complete spinal cord injury. Dogs in control group and electrostimulating group were implanted electrical stimulators 6 hours after spinal cord injury （no electricity in control group）; dogs in MP ＋ electrostimulating group were injected 30 mg/kg MP for 15 minutes at 2 hours after spinal cord injury and electrical stimulators implanted at 6 hours after injury; dogs in Tet ＋ electrostimulating group were intravenously injected with 7.5 mg/kg Tet at 2 hours after spinal cord injury and electrical stimulators implanted at 6 hou

针对车用爪极发电机噪声来源问题,基于噪声试验及仿真对噪声来源进行识别。首先,对爪极发电机进行空、负载噪声试验,利用阶次分析法对发电机在空、负载工况下进行阶次分析;然后,对发电机结构部件在自由状态下进行模态仿真,通过对模型结构进行等效假设,得到前、后端盖与定子的前3阶振型和固有频率;最后,结合噪声试验与仿真结果进行对比分析。结果表明:发电机在中低转速下为电磁噪声,高转速下主要为空气噪声,前、后端盖和定子与发电机在运行工况下产生结构共振并辐射出噪声。

Voriconazole in an infant with cryptococcal meningitis

Cryptococcus neoformans （C. neoformans） is the most common cause of fungal meningitis worldwide.1 Cryptococcal meningitis is an opportunistic infection commonly found in immunocompromised hosts, especially HIV-infected adults. It also occurs in apparently immunocompetent individuals. Rarely has it been reported in children, and it is almost nonexistent in infants. Voriconazole is a member of a second generation of antifungal triazoles with broad spectrum antifungal activity, oral and parenteral bioavailability and a favorable safety profile in adults.3 This patient shows improved in vitro activity against C. neoformans when compared to fluconazole and it has been used successfully in about half the patients with refractory cryptococcosis.4 However, the efficacy and safety of voriconazole as a antifungal agent in children with cryptococcal meningitis have not been well assessed, This report described cryptococcal meningitis in a 13-day-old premature neonate who recovered without overt toxicity after voriconazole was added to an antifungal regimen that included amphotericin B and flucytosine. We focused on the response of this child with cryptococcal meningitis to voriconazole.

Nitric Oxide Mediates Cytokinin Functions in Cell Proliferation and Meristem Maintenance in Arabidopsis

Cytokinin and nitric oxide （NO） have been characterized as signaling molecules to trigger cell division in tissue culture. Here, we show that the hypocotyl and root explants of Arabidopsis NO-deficient mutant nosl/noal exhibit severe defects in callus induction and shoot regeneration in response to cytokinin. Accordingly, depletion of NO caused by a NO scavenger leads to a severe inhibitory effect on callus induction. Moreover, cytokinin-induced NO production is impaired in nosl/noal in which cytokinin-triggered activation of cell cycle gene CYCD3;1 is inhibited, indicating that NO may act downstream of cytokinin in the control of cell proliferation through CYCD3;1. This hypothesis is further con- firmed by the genetic evidence that constitutive expression of CYCD3;1 complements the defects of nosl/noal mutant in meristematic activity in shoot, root, and floral tissues as well as in cytokinin-induced callus initiation and shoot regen- eration. Furthermore, we show that NO deficiency caused by loss of NOSl/NOA1 impairs cellular development such as the duration of the mitotic phase and timing of the transition to endocycles in nosl/noal mutant leaves, which can be reverted by constitutive expression of CYCD3;1. Taken together, these results demonstrate that NO mediates transcrip- tional activation of CYCD3,1 in regulating the mitotic cycles in response to cytokinins.
