The a.tivity concentra.ion of na.ura. a.d fa.lout ra.ionuclides in the soil a. som. selected Tha.a. a.ound the TRIGa.m.rk-II Resea.ch Rea.tor a. a.om.c Energy Resea.ch Esta.lishm.nt (a.RE), Sa.a., Dha.a.were m.a.ured by using a.high purity germ.nium.detector (HPGe). The study revea.ed tha. only na.ura. ra.ionuclides were present in the sa.0}les a.d no tra.e of a.y a.tificia. ra.ionuclide wa. found. The a.era.e a.tivity concentra.ion of 238U, 232Th a.d 40K were found to be 37.8 ± 5.6 ***-1, 58.2 ± 11.0 ***-1 a.d 790.8 ± 153.4 ***-1 respectively. The ra.ium.equiva.ent a.tivity (Req), a.sorbed dose ra.e (D), externa. ra.ia.ion ha.a.d index (Hex) a.d interna. ra.ia.ion ha.a.d index (Hin) were a.so ca.cula.ed to find out the proba.le ra.iologica. ha.a.d of the na.ura. ra.ioa.tivity.

Introduction: Ba.gla.esh ha. experienced rem.rka.le growth in Rm. over the pa.t 25 yea.s. With the knitwea. industry providing m.re tha. 4 m.llion direct jobs, providing better occupa.iona. hea.th a.d sa.ety of workers rem.ins a.cha.lenge. a.m.of the study: The a.m.of the study wa. to a.a.yze the disea.e burden of a.Rm. fa.tory, a.d to highlight occupa.iona. hea.th risks. m.thods: a.cross-sectiona. study design wa. em.loyed for this a.a.ysis. a.17-m.nth da.a.entry (Ja.ua.y 2020 - m.y 2021) wa. ga.hered from.the fa.tory in-house clinic. The socio-dem.gra.hic a.d clinica. dia.nosis entries of 8421 entries were a.a.yzed. Result: The popula.ion of the fa.tory workers is 5370, where 40% (2148) a.e fem.le workers a.d 60% (3222) a.e m.le workers. The m.a. a.e of respondents is 30 yea.s, with a.SD of ±7 yea.s. a.0}ng the chief com.la.nts, the m.st com.on wa. vom.ting (14%;2262) fever (14%;2247), runny nose (11%;1842), cough (9%;1465), a.d loose m.tion (8%;1364). In the dia.nosis ca.egories, ga.trointestina. disea.es were m.re predom.na.tly dia.nosed (35%;2978), followed by vira. fever (21%;1772), neurologica. disea.es (16.5%;1389) a.d m.sculoskeleta. disorders (9%;768). The a.era.e cost of m.dicine for ea.h respondent is BDT 36. The fa.tory covered costs of a.l m.dica.ion for 99% (8380) of respondents. Only 0.5% (37) wa. referred to a.tertia.y hospita. for further eva.ua.ion. Conclusion: Ga.m.nts workers suffer m.stly from.long-term.occupa.iona. hea.th ha.a.ds. Fa.tory owners a.d policy m.kers ca. contribute in va.ious wa.s to im.roving prim.ry hea.thca.e options for workers.

a. experim.nt wa. conducted to test the effica.y of a.m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.ound the tree trunk with one spra. of Cyperm.thrin @ 1 m./l a.d turm.ric powder extra.t @ 15 g/500m. of wa.er a.plied in integra.ed a.proa.hes a.a.nst m.ngo m.a.ybug on m.ngo tree. There were 7 trea.m.nts including a.control. The trea.m.nts were m.cha.ica. ba.rier, Cyperm.thrin spra. @ 1 m./l, Turm.ric powder spra. @ 15 g/500m. of wa.er, Cyperm.thrin spra. + Turm.ric spra., Cyperm.thrin spra. + m.cha.ica. ba.rier, Turm.ric + m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.d untrea.ed control. Three-yea.-old m.ngo pla.ts gra.ted from.a.5-yea.-old m.ngo tree (Va.iety a.0}opa.i) a.d pla.ted in pots were used in the experim.nt. The trea.m.nt, Cyperm.thrin spra. + m.cha.ica. ba.rier ga.e the highest reduction of m.ngo m.a.ybug popula.ion 87.06% to 93.90% followed by Turm.ric spra. + m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.d showed 81.13% to 86.04% a.d m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.one showed 81.13% to 84.59% popula.ion reduction. Turm.ric powder extra.t showed only (8.42% to 23.77%) popula.ion reduction of m.ngo m.a.ybug which wa. lowest com.a.ed to other trea.m.nts.

Ba.kground: Em.rgence a.ita.ion (Ea. is a.com.on phenom.non observed in pedia.ric pa.ients following genera. a.esthesia. This study a.m.d to a.sess the effica.y of propofol a.d fenta.yl in preventing Ea.a.d to com.a.e their a.socia.ed com.lica.ions or side effects. m.thods: This prospective ra.dom.zed observa.iona. com.a.a.ive study wa. conducted a. Dha.a.m.dica. College Hospita. from.July 2013 to June 2014. The study a.m.d to eva.ua.e the effects of propofol a.d fenta.yl on Ea.in children a.ed 18 to 72 m.nths undergoing circum.ision, herniotom., a.d polypectom. opera.ions. Ninety children were included in the study, with 45 in ea.h group. Pa.ients with psychologica. or neurologica. disorders were excluded. Va.ious pa.a.0}ters including a.e, sex, weight, a.0}rica. Society of a.esthesiologists (a.a. cla.s, dura.ion of a.esthesia. Sa.ura.ion of Periphera. Oxygen (SPO2), hea.t ra.e (HR), respira.ory ra.e (RR), Pedia.ric a.esthesia.Em.rgence Delirium.(Pa.D) score, dura.ion of post-a.esthesia.ca.e unit (Pa.U) sta., incidence of la.yngospa.m. na.sea. vom.ting, a.d rescue drug requirem.nt were com.a.ed between the two groups. Results: a.e, sex, weight, a.a.cla.s, a.d dura.ion of a.esthesia.were com.a.a.le between the two groups. Periopera.ive SpO2 a.d HR were sim.la. in both groups. However, the Pa.D score wa. significa.tly higher in the fenta.yl group during a.l follow-ups except a. 30 m.nutes postopera.ively. The m.a. dura.ion of Pa.U sta. wa. significa.tly longer in the fenta.yl group. a.though the incidence of la.yngospa.m.wa. higher in the fenta.yl group, it wa. not sta.istica.ly significa.t. Conversely, na.sea.or vom.ting wa. significa.tly higher in the fenta.yl group. The requirem.nt for rescue drugs wa. significa.tly higher in the fenta.yl group com.a.ed to the propofol group. The fa.t cooling ra.e of thin ductile iron ca.tings requires specia. considera.ion to produce ca.bide-free ca.tings. Extra.rdina.y ca.e wa. ta.en to select the cha.ge to produce ca.tings of 100-m. long round ba.s with 16-m. dia.0}ter. The ca.tings show the presence of ca.bides in the ba.s. Seven m.lts were m.de with different tem.era.ures a.d with different com.ositions to get rid of ca.bides. a.ter chem.ca. a.a.yses,it wa. found tha. the extra.purity of the cha.ge with less tha. 0.008wt% sulfur in the ca.tings wa. the ca.se of ca.bides. To rem.ve the ca.bides from.the ca.tings,sulfur should be a.ded to the cha.ge.
