BACKGROUND The impact of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)on acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)is debatable.T2DM was suspected to reduce the risk and complications of ***,during coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),T2DM predisposed patients to ARDS,especially those who were on insulin at *** evaluate the impact of outpatient insulin use in T2DM patients on non-COVID-19 ARDS *** We conducted a retrospective cohort analysis using the Nationwide Inpatient Sample *** patients diagnosed with ARDS were stratified into insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus(DM)(IDDM)and non-insulindependent DM(niDDM)*** applying exclusion criteria and matching over 20 variables,we compared cohorts for mortality,duration of mechanical ventilation,incidence of acute kidney injury(AKI),length of stay(LOS),hospitalization costs,and other clinical *** Following 1:1 propensity score matching,the analysis included 274 patients in each ***,no statistically significant differences emerged between the IDDM and niDDM groups in terms of mortality rates(32.8%vs 31.0%,P=0.520),median hospital LOS(10 d,P=0.537),requirement for mechanical ventilation,incidence rates of sepsis,pneumonia or AKI,median total hospitalization costs,or patient disposition upon *** Compared to alternative anti-diabetic medications,outpatient insulin treatment does not appear to exert an independent influence on in-hospital morbidity or mortality in diabetic patients with non-COVID-19 ARDS.

The Internet of Things(IoT)consists of interconnected smart devices communicating and collecting *** Routing Protocol for Low-Power and Lossy Networks(RPL)is the standard protocol for Internet Protocol Version 6(IPv6)in the ***,RPL is vulnerable to various attacks,including the sinkhole attack,which disrupts the network by manipulating routing *** paper proposes the Unweighted Voting Method(UVM)for sinkhole node identification,utilizing three key behavioral indicators:DODAG Information Object(DIO)Transaction Frequency,Rank Harmony,and Power *** indicators have been carefully selected based on their contribution to sinkhole attack detection and other relevant features used in previous *** UVM method employs an unweighted voting mechanism,where each voter or rule holds equal weight in detecting the presence of a sinkhole attack based on the proposed *** effectiveness of the UVM method is evaluated using the COOJA simulator and compared with existing ***,the proposed approach fulfills power consumption requirements for constrained nodes without increasing consumption due to the deployment *** terms of detection accuracy,simulation results demonstrate a high detection rate ranging from 90%to 100%,with a low false-positive rate of 0%to 0.2%.Consequently,the proposed approach surpasses Ensemble Learning Intrusion Detection Systems by leveraging three indicators and three supporting rules.

Objective:To evaluate the protective effect of the coconut oil nanoemulsion against methotrexate-induced hepatotoxicity and nephrotoxicity in Ehrlich ascites carcinoma-bearing Swiss albino ***:Forty mice were divided into four ***Ⅰserved as the untreated Ehrlich ascites carcinoma-bearing mice while Ehrlich ascites carcinoma-bearing mice in groupsⅡ–Ⅳreceived an intraperitoneal injection of 0.2 m L/kg coconut oil nanoemulsion,20 mg/kg methotrexate as well as 0.2 m L/kg coconut oil nanoemulsion mixed with 20 mg/kg methotrexate,*** toxicities of the treatments were assessed by determining the complete blood count,performing the serum analysis for liver and kidney functions,evaluating the oxidative status and visualizing histological changes in the liver and kidney ***:Treatment with methotrexate and coconut oil nanoemulsion markedly diminished the liver parameters including aspartate aminotransferase,alanine aminotransferase,alkaline phosphatase,total protein,direct bilirubin and total bilirubin which were raised by methotrexate treatment(Pnine and blood urea nitrogen,as the indicators of kidney function,were dramatically lowered in the combination treatment group compared to the methotrexate group(P<0.05).In addition,treatment with methotrexate and coconut oil nanoemulsion reduced the malondialdehyde and increased catalase,glutathione reductase and superoxide dismutase,in the liver and kidney tissues(P<0.05).The treatment with methotrexate and coconut oil nanoemulsion reduced white blood cell count and increased the hemoglobin amount(P<0.05),but did not cause any change in platelets and red blood cell ***:Coconut oil nanoemulsion as a nanocarrier has great potential in reducing the adverse side effects induced by methotrexate.

The aim of this study is to assess the association between polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and hematological parameters [hemoglobin, red cell parameters, white blood cells (WBCs), platelets volume (MPV)]. This is a matched case-control study (60 women in each arm of the study) which was conducted in Saad Abualila infertility center Hospital in Khartoum, Sudan. Infertile women with PCOS were the cases and healthy non pregnant women were the controls. The gynecological characteristics were gathered through questionnaire and blood samples were analyzed for different blood parameters by automated hematology analyzer. While the two groups were matched in their age;body mass index was significantly higher in women with PCOs compared to the normal control. The investigated different hematological parameters (hemoglobin, RBCs, RDW, WBCs, platelets and MPV) showed no statistical difference between the women with PCOS and the controls.

本研究设计2部分实验用以研究比较猪早期胚胎（2-细胞到8-细胞胚胎）的冷冻保存效果。分别以不同的玻璃化液为冷冻液,采用同样的方法进行胚胎的玻璃化冷冻和解冻。第一个实验的主要内容是为构建体细胞克隆胚胎准备成熟的成熟的受体卵母细胞,用于获得克隆胚胎之后的玻璃化冷冻;同时也比较了体外培养时间对卵母细胞成熟的影响。卵母细胞用含10%新生牛血清（NCS）.10 IU/ml孕马血清促性腺激素（PMSG）,10 IU/ml人绒毛膜促性腺激素（hCG）,1μg/ml 17β-E2,10%猪卵泡液（pFF）,69μg/ml L-半胱氨酸的TCM199溶液体外培养44-48 h。实验一的另一部分内容分别以猪卵丘细胞和小鼠卵丘细胞作为核供体细胞,构建克隆胚胎,比较2种供体细胞对克隆胚胎体外发育影响。结果表明,两组2-细胞发育率分别为75.5%和73.6%,8-细胞发育率分别为56.8%和28.1%。这些结果同时证明,猪受体卵母细胞内的一些因子也可对外源性的体细胞进行一定程度的重编程,并启动其分裂。另外,小鼠-猪种间核移植胚胎的发育率没有显著差异（P＞0.05）;但在本实验条件下,我们的体细胞核移植研究发现猪体细胞核移植和小鼠-猪种间核移植胚胎在体外培养至8-ce11阶段均停止了发育。本研究第二个实验的目的是研究3种不同的玻璃化冷冻液对猪早期胚胎（2-、4-和8-细胞期）冷冻保存后存活率的影响。VS-1:ES40（40%乙二醇+0.5M蔗糖）;VS-2:EFS40 （40%乙二醇+60% FS）和EDFS40 （40%乙二醇+20%二甲亚砜+20%FS）。本研究所用的玻璃化冷冻液全部用10% NCS TCM199配制,用前在39℃条件下预热,所有的实验操作均在室温条件下（22～24℃）进行。将所有胚胎随机分成3个组,分别使用3种不同的冷冻保护液进行OPS法玻璃化冷冻保存。每组胚胎先在含20%v/v乙二醇（EG20）的TCM-NBCS培养液中平衡5 min,再放入100μl冷冻保护液的液滴中平衡30 s,之后立即将胚胎装入OPS管并直接投入-196℃液氮中。存储在液氮罐中的胚胎采用直接解冻后进行体外培养。直接解冻法是将胚胎从液氮中取出后垂直浸入放有100μl 0.5 M蔗糖的NCS TCM培养皿中平衡5 min。胚胎移至100μl含0.25M蔗糖的NCS TCM中再平衡5 min。所有的复苏液均在39℃条件下预热。最后胚胎用mPBS（?）先3次后置于39℃备用。玻璃化冷冻胚胎解冻后,通过FDA染色来鉴定胚胎是否存活。结果表明,与其它冷冻保护液相比,采用ES40冷冻保护剂可以获得最高的冻后存活率。此外,实验还证明ES40和EDFS40在冻后存活率上没有统计学差异（P＞0.05）,但均显著高于EFS40组。本研究结果表明猪体细胞核移植和小鼠-猪种间核移植胚胎可以成功地进行冷冻和复苏。但经OPS方法冷冻的2～8-细胞期的胚胎解冻后能否进一步向后期发育,仍需进行深入的研究。

Ischaemic Heart Disease (IHD) or Coronary heart disease means that the heart is not getting enough blood and oxygen supply through the coronary arteries. The most common cause of this disease is the process of atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries. Although significant progress has been made in the management of ischaemic heart disease (IHD) The number of severe IHD patients is increasing. The treatment options for IHD have not changed much over the last three decades, which is divided between medications, coronary Angioplasty and Coronary artery bypass surgery. Thus it was crucial to develop new, non-invasive therapeutic strategies in case of Failure of medical or interventional therapy or in case patient is not fit for surgery or angioplasty. In this study, we are pleased to reveal a novel technique that was carried out on a human model. We aimed to develop low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) therapy for the treatment of patients with Ischaemic Heart Disease. We have set up the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the treatment protocol of LIPUS on IHD patients. In this limited group of IHD patients, We found promising clinical results and improvement on myocardial functions.

目前苏丹国内汉语教育已经发展了二十余年,中文办学条件已日趋完善,教学水平也在稳步提高;然而,教材编写方面的不足已成为限制苏丹国家汉语教育发展的主要因素之一。截止目前,苏丹国内还未曾有本土化教材出现,且现行教材种类繁多,针对苏丹国家的教材适用性研究较为薄弱。本文首先以初级汉语综合教材《发展汉语Ⅰ》和《新实用汉语课本Ⅰ》为对象展开对比分析,总体而言,两套教材在语音、汉字、词汇、课文、语法、练习等方面的编写特点具有诸多差异,《发展汉语Ⅰ》更重视知识点的细分及分散式学习,而《新实用汉语课本Ⅰ》则更强调汉语知识点的总结及集中式学习。其次,本文还结合苏丹国内的实际情况,以喀土穆大学中文系的学生和教师为对象进行了教材适用性调查,调查结果显示,《发展汉语Ⅰ》要比《新实用汉语课本Ⅰ》更适合在苏丹使用。最后,本文结合二语习得相关理论提出了一系列教材改进的建议,具体包括:强化语音长期学习、重视词汇总结、遵循语法习得规律、拓展汉字知识、增加课文体裁、丰富练习题型。希望通过本文的研究能够为苏丹汉语教材的编写提供借鉴,推动苏丹地区汉语教育的发展。
