OBJECTIVE:To develop a clinical practice guideline to guide the treatment of low back pain by ***:An integrative approach of systematic review of literature,clinical evidence classification,expert opinion surveying,and consensus establishing via a Delphi program was utilized during the developing *** evidence-based practice standards and the personalized features of acupuncture were taken into ***:Based on clinical evidence and expert opinions,we developed a clinical practice guideline for the treatment of low back pain with *** recommendations have a wide coverage spanning from Western Medicine diagnosis and Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation,to acupuncture treatment procedures,as well as post treatment care for rehabilitation and *** recommendations for acupuncture practice included treatment principles,therapeutic regimens,and operational *** levels of evidence and strength of recommendation were rated for each procedure of ***:A clinical practice guideline for acupuncture treating low back pain was developed based on contemporary clinical evidence and experts'consensus to provide best currently agreeable practice guideline for domestic and international stakeholders.

A new species of the genus Kurixalus(Anura:Rhacophoridae)from Sichuan Province,southwestern China

Combining morphological and molecular data,we describe a new amphibian species of the genus Kurixalus Ye,Fei,&Dubois,1999 from the Qionglai Mountain within the western margin of the Sichuan Basin in *** qionglaiensis *** be diagnosed based on a combination of the following morphological characters:medium-sized within genus(snout-vent length(SVL)in males 28.9−33.3 mm);tympanum distinct,subequal to half of eye diameter;snout pointed,prominence on tip;iris golden with brown spots;slight nuptial pad on first finger in males;background coloration of dorsal surface brown,lateral body and femoral yellow;white,dark brown edged triangular markings on cheek;chin shaded dark brown;pair of large symmetrical dark patches on chest;belly clouded brown and scattered black spots;toes moderately webbed,formulaⅠ2-2Ⅱ1.5-2.5Ⅲ1.5-2.5Ⅳ2.5-1.5Ⅴ;tibia length slightly shorter than half of SVL,tibiotarsal articulation reaching posterior border of eye;single external vocal sac *** on the 16S rRNA gene,the genetic distance between the new species and its sister taxon ***(Kuramoto&Wang,1987)was 4%.At present,the new species is known only from a single location at an elevation of~600 m in Pingle Town,Qionglai City,Sichuan,southwestern *** location can represent a new northernmost geographical limit of the genus Kurixalus.

INTRODUCTION Ever since there was human life, the frequency and impact of injuries are real challenges to survival and well-being. Attempts to heal injuries, whether severe or mild, have been major concerns and over time we have accumulated considerable experiences. All traditional medicines, whether European or Oriental, have extensive records of injury treatment and bone-setting. Such records are available in China, from as early as 1000 BC.

Textile electronics have become an indispensable part of wearable applications because of their large flexibility,light-weight,comfort and electronic functionality upon the merge of textiles and *** a result,the fabrication of functional fibrous materials and the integration of textile electronic devices have attracted increasing interest in the wearable electronic *** are encountered in the development of textile electronics in a way that is electrically reliable and durable,without compromising on the deformability and comfort of a garment,including processing multiple materials with great mismatches in mechanical,thermal,and electrical properties and assembling various structures with the disparity in dimensional scales and surface *** challenges lie in high-quality and cost-effective processes facilitated by high-level digital technology enabled design and manufacturing *** work reviews the manufacturing of textile-shaped electronics via the processing of functional fibrous materials from the perspective of hierarchical architectures,and discusses the heterogeneous integration of microelectronics into normal textiles upon the fabric circuit board and adapted electrical connections,broadly covering both conventional and advanced textile electronic production *** summarize the applications and obstacles of textile electronics explored so far in sensors,actuators,thermal management,energy fields,and ***,the main conclusions and outlook are provided while the remaining challenges of the fabrication and application of textile electronics are emphasized.

Catalyst-free InGaAs nanowires grown by selective area epitaxy are promising building blocks for future optoelectronic devices in the infrared spectral *** progress,the role of pattern geometry and growth parameters on the composition,microstructure,and optical properties of InGaAs nanowires is still ***,we present an optimised growth parameter window to achieve highly uniform In1-xGaxAs nanowire arrays on GaAs(111)B substrate over an extensive range of Ga concentrations,from 0.1 to 0.91,by selective-area metal-organic vapor-phase *** observe that the Ga content always increases with decreasing In/(Ga+In)precursor ratio and group V flow rate and increasing growth *** increase in Ga content is supported by a blue shift in the photoluminescence peak *** geometry of the nanowire arrays also plays an important role in the resulting ***,increasing the nanowire pitch size from 0.6 to 2μm in a patterned array shifts the photoluminescence peak emission by up to 120 *** of these growth and geometry parameters,the Ga content determines the crystal structure,resulting in a predominantly wurtzite structure for xGa≤0.3 and a predominantly zinc blende phase for xGa≥*** insights on the factors controlling the composition of InGaAs nanowires grown by a scalable catalyst-free approach provide directions for engineering nanowires as functional components of future optoelectronic devices.

Treatment of pediatric refractory Crohn’s disease with thalidomide

AIM: To assess the efficacy and tolerability of thalidomide in pediatric Crohn's disease (CD). METHODS: Six patients with refractory CD received thalidomide at an initial dose of 2 mg/kg per day for one month, then increased to 3 mg/kg per day or decreased to 1 mg/kg per day, and again further reduced to 0.5 mg/kg per day, according to the individual patient's response to the drug. RESULTS: Remission was achieved within three months. Dramatic clinical improvement was demonstrated after thalidomide treatment. Endoscopic and pathological improvements were also observed after thalidomide treatment, which was well tolerated by all patients. CONCLUSION: Thalidomide is a useful drug for pediatric refractory CD.

Differentially weighted operator splitting Monte Carlo method for simulating complex aerosol dynamic processes

A differentially weighted operator splitting Monte Carlo （DWOSMC） method is developed to solve com- plex aerosol dynamic processes by coupling the differentially weighted Monte Carlo method and the operator splitting technique. This method is validated by analytical solutions and a sectional method in different aerosol dynamic processes. It is first validated in coagulation and condensation processes, and nucleation and coagulation processes, and then validated through simultaneous nucleation, coagulation, and condensation processes. The results show that the DWOSMC method is a computationally efficient and quantitatively accurate method for simulating complex aerosol dynamic processes.

Background Thyroid hormones are critical for early neurocognitive development as well as growth and development throughout *** recognition and treatment of hypothyroidism is,therefore,of utmost importance to optimize physical and neurodevelopmental *** sources A PubMed search was completed in Clinical Queries using the key terms 'hypothyroidism'.Results Hypothyroidism may be present at birth (congenital hypothyroidism) or develop later in life (acquired hypothyroidism).Thyroid dysgenesis and dyshormonogenesis account for approximately 85% and 15% of permanent cases of congenital primary hypothyroidism,*** than 95% of infants with congenital hypothyroidism have few,if any,clinical manifestations of *** screening programs allow early detection of congenital *** developed countries,Hashimoto thyroiditis is the most common cause of goiter and acquired hypothyroidism in children and ***,iodine deficiency associated with goiter is the most common cause of *** hypothyroidism is uncommon and may be associated with other congenital syndromes and deficiencies of other pituitary *** of the clinical features would allow prompt diagnosis and institution of *** To optimize neurocognitive outcome in infants with congenital hypothyroidism,treatment with levothyroxine should be started as soon as possible,preferably within the first 2 weeks of *** with acquired hypothyroidism should also be treated early to ensure normal growth and development as well as cognitive *** target is to keep serum TSH < 5 mIU/L and to maintain serum free T4 or total T4 within the upper half of the age-specific reference range,with elimination of all symptoms and signs of hypothyroidism.

DYNAMIC RESOURCE ALLOCATION FOR EFFICIENT PATIENT SCHEDULING： A DATA-DRIVEN APPROACH

Efficient staff rostering and patient scheduling to meet outpatient demand is a very complex and dynamic task. Due to fluctuations in demand and specialist availability, specialist allocation must be very flexible and non-myopic. Medical specialists are typically restricted in sub-specialization, serve several patient groups and are the key resource in a chain of patient visits to the clinic and operating room （OR）. To overcome a myopic view of once-off appointment scheduling, we address the patient flow through a chain of patient appointments when allocating key resources to different patient groups. We present a new, data-driven algorithmic approach to automatic allocation of specialists to roster activities and patient groups. By their very nature, simplified mathematical models cannot capture the complexity that is characteristic to the system being modeled. In our approach, the allocation of specialists to their day-to-day activities is flexible and responsive to past and present key resource availability, as well as to past resource allocation. Variability in roster activities is actively minimized, in order to enhance the supply chain flow. With discrete-event simulation of the application case using empirical data, we illustrate how our approach improves patient Service Level （SL, percentage of patients served on-time） as well as Wait Time （days）, without change in resource capacity.

An in-depth investigation into the relationships between structural metrics and unit testability in object-oriented systems

There is a common belief that structural properties of classes are important factors to determine their unit ***,few empirical studies have been conducted to examine the actual impact of structural properties of *** this paper,we employ multiple linear regression(MLR) and partial least square regression(PLSR) to investigate the relationships between the metrics measuring structural properties and unit testability of a *** investigated structural metrics cover five property dimensions,including size,cohesion,coupling,inheritance,and *** results from open-source software systems show that:(1) most structural metrics are statistically related to unit testability in an expected direction,among which size,complexity,and coupling metrics are the most important predictors;that(2) multivariate regression models based on structural metrics cannot accurately predict unit testability of classes,although they are better able to rank unit testability of classes;that(3) the transition from MLR to PLSR could significantly improve the ability to rank unit testability of classes but cannot improve the ability to predict the unit testing effort of classes.
