CO_(2)is not only the primary cause of climate change but also an abundant and recyclable carbon *** breakthrough in emerging disruptive technologies such as carbon capture and storage(CCS),power-to-X,and direct air capture(DAC)is fundamental to achieving carbon *** these technologies,artificial photosynthesis offers an attractive method for recycling carbon dioxide and water into fuels and chemicals using solar energy(CO_(2)+H_(2)O+sunlight→fuels+chemicals).It holds great promise for addressing the critical challenges associated with elevated CO_(2)concentrations and securing a sustainable supply of fuels and chemicals for economic sectors.

Light-driven dry reforming of methane toward syngas presents a proper solution for alleviating climate change and for the sustainable supply of transportation fuels and ***,Rh/InGaN_(1-x)O_(x) nanowires supported by silicon wafer are explored as an ideal platform for loading Rh nanoparticles,thus assembling a new nanoarchitecture for this grand *** combination with the remarkable photothermal synergy,the O atoms in Rh/InGaN_(1-x)O_(x) can significantly lower the apparent activation energy of dry reforming of methane from 2.96 eV downward to 1.70 *** as-designed Rh/InGaN_(1-x)O_(x) NWs nanoarchitecture thus demonstrates a measurable syngas evolution rate of 180.9 mmol g_(cat)^(-1) h^(-1) with a marked selectivity of 96.3% under concentrated light illumination of 6 W cm^(-2).What is more,a high turnover number(TON)of 4182 mol syngas per mole Rh has been realized after six reuse cycles without obvious activity *** correlative 18O isotope labeling experiments,in-situ irradiated X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(ISI-XPS)and in-situ diffuse reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy characterizations,as well as density functional theory calculations reveal that under light illumination,Rh/InGaN_(1-x)O_(x) NWs facilitate releasing^(*)CH_(3) and H^(+)from CH_(4) by holes,followed by H_(2) evolution from H^(+)reduction with ***,the O atoms in Rh/InGaN_(1-x)O_(x) can directly participate in CO generation by reacting with the ^(*)C species from CH_(4) dehydrogenation and contributes to the coke elimination,in concurrent formation of O *** resultant O vacancies are then replenished by CO_(2),showing an ideal chemical *** work presents a green strategy for syngas production via light-driven dry reforming of methane.

Ag substitution in Cu_(2)ZnSn(S,Se)_(4)(CZTSSe)is a promising way to mitigate Cu/Zn related defects,electrostatic fluctuations and Shockley-Read-Hall(SRH)recombination ***,high performance ACZTSSe solar cells are generally demonstrated with more Ag amounts and strenuous fabrication processes,which are not ideal when using cheap constituent materials *** reduce the Ag amount(2%-3%),local Ag substitutions into CZTSSe at front(F),back(B)and dual front/back(FB)were *** results revealed that F-passivation effectively reduced the Cu/Zn related defects and further limits the interface/bulk recombination whereas B-passivation improved the grain growth at the back interface and further allows enhanced transport of charge *** employing the dual Agpassivation approach,the final ACZTSSe device parameters were significantly improved and remarkable power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 12.43%was achieved with eco-friendly aqueous solution process.

Pocket Switched Networks(PSN)represent a particular remittent network for direct communication between the handheld mobile *** to traditional networks,there is no stable topology structure for PSN where the nodes observe the mobility model of human *** is a kind of Delay Tolerant Networks(DTNs)that gives a description to circulate information among the network nodes by the way of taking the benefit of transferring nodes from one area to *** its inception,there are several schemes for message routing in the infrastructure-less environment in which human mobility is only the best manner to exchange *** routing messages,PSN uses different techniques such asDistributed Expectation-Based Spatio-Temporal(DEBT)Epidemic(DEBTE),DEBT Cluster(DEBTC),and DEBT Tree(DEBTT).Understanding on how the network environment is affected for these routing strategies are the main motivation of this *** this paper,we have investigated the impact of network nodes,the message copies per transmission,and the overall carrying out of these routing *** simulator was used to analyze those techniques on the basis of delivery,overhead,and *** result of this task demonstrates that for a particular simulation setting,DEBTE is the best PSN routing technique among all,against DEBTC and DEBTT.

Oil and gas operators worldwide are expecting service companies to deliver integrated techniques to minimize,if not prevent,drilling *** fluids perform vital functions to ensure the success of drilling *** technical challenges often associated with water-based drilling fluids are loss of critical properties,such as fluid loss control and rheology,under demanding conditions,such as in drilling deeper,high-temperature and high-pressure *** loss during drilling operations has a very significant effect in both reservoir formation damage and monetary *** use of durian rind(DR)as a new additive in controlling lost circulation would provide another opportunity to reduce waste and avoid ***,DR was used to improve the rheological properties of water-based mud,and it was prepared for use as a fluid loss *** a better understanding of the influence of pectin on drilling mud properties,the rheological evaluation of untreated DR was compared to that of mud samples containing treated *** pectin in DR was extracted using four different solvents,namely,ethanol,methanol,sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide,and the most effective solvent to remove the pectin was then *** Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)results showed that NaOH was the best solvent for removing pectin from *** analysis(TGA)was used to determine the thermal stability of DR before and after *** TGA results demonstrated that the treated DR had improved thermal stability compared to untreated *** sizes of DR used were coarse,medium,and *** untreated DR presented better rheological properties than the treated *** experimental investigation showed that a concentration of 20 lb/bbl of intermediate-sized DR was the best concentration among the tested samples.

This paper investigates the influence of both viscous and joules dissipation on the problem of magneto-hydrodynamic flow past a stretching porous surface embedded in a porous medium for rotating case. Using similarity approach the system of partial differential equations is transformed into ordinary differential equations which strongly depend on the magnetic parameter, stretching parameter, rotation parameter, permeability parameter and Prandtl number. The coupled differential equations are numerically simulated using the Nactsheim-Swigert shooting technique together with Runge-Kutta six order iteration schemes. The velocity and temperature profiles are discussed and presented graphically. The comparisons for dimensionless skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number are also taken into account and discussed and presented graphically.

Background Although hydrostatic reduction of intussusception with ultrasound(US)or fluoroscopy guidance is well known,it is not yet well established in many low-income and middle-income *** aim of the study is to report our results of hydrostatic reduction with intermittent radiography,which has the potential to be practiced in resource-limited *** We retrospectively analyzed our patients with intussusception from 2009 to 2019(11 years).Hydrostatic reduction was performed using water-soluble contrast medium(iopamidol),and reduction was followed with intermittent X-rays taken after every 50 mL of diluted contrast *** procedure was not continuously monitored by US or *** in outcome based on age and gender,and yearly trends of admission for intussusception,types of treatment and mortality were *** Among 672 patients,the ratio of boys to girls was 2.46:1.0,and their ages ranged from 1 month to 15 years(median 8 months).Hydrostatic reduction was performed successfully in 351(52.23%)patients;308(45.83%)patients underwent surgery;and 13(1.93%)patients died before any *** were significant differences in age between patients with successful hydrostatic reduction(median 7 months)and patients needing surgery(median 9 months)(p<0.001).The number of successful hydrostatic reductions increased during the 11 years of the study(R2=0.88).One patient(0.15%)died after hydrostatic reduction,and 10(1.49%)died after *** Hydrostatic reduction with intermittent radiography was performed successfully in more than half of the patients with acceptable complication rates.

In this letter,a humidity sensor is demonstrated by applying a whispering gallery mode(WGM)from a microsphere resonator onto the ZnO nanorods coated glass *** diameter of the microsphere was 234μm and the glass surface was coated with ZnO nanorods using the hydrothermal method at growth duration of 12 h.A significant response to humidity level ranging from 35%RH to 85%RH has been observed with the sensitivity of 0.0142 nm/%*** proposed humidity sensor has successfully employed to enhance interaction between the whispering gallery mode evanescent and surrounds analyte with the assistance of ZnO nanorods coated glass.
