The current coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has posed an unprecedented challenge to global health(1–3).The clinical symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to those of malaria,such as fever,myalgia,fatigue,headache,and gastrointestinal symptoms.Due to the heavy burden of medical services and the possible shortage of resources caused by the long-term COVID-19 pandemic,the risk of coinfection of malaria and COVID-19 is a matter of particular concern.Here we reported the first case of COVID-19 coinfection with Plasmodium ovale(P.ovale)malaria in a 47-year-old man who had been previously diagnosed with Plasmodium infection and incompletely treated with antimalarial drugs.

ChMYB1-ChbHLH42-ChTTG1 module regulates abscisic acidinduced anthocyanin biosynthesis in Cerasus humilis

Cerasus humilis is a kind of economic fruit tree peculiar to China,which is widely used in the food,landscape,and pharmaceutical industries.Anthocyanins are a phenolic metabolite that plays an essential role in fruit coloration.However,the regulatory network of C.humilis in anthocyanin biosynthesis is still unclear.In this study,the R2R3-MYB transcription factor ChMYB1 was isolated from the full genome of the species.Yeast one-hybrid,dual-luciferase assays,and GUS staining showed that ChMYB1 significantly increased anthocyanin contents in C.humilis fruit by promoting the expression of ChCHS and ChUFGT by binding MBS(MYB-binding elements).ChMYB1 interacted with ChbHLH42and ChTTG1 to form the MBW complex and further enhanced the expression of ChUFGT.In addition,abscisic acid(ABA)treatment promoted the expression of ChMYB1 and anthocyanin accumulation in C.humilis fruit.Interestingly,ABA treatment enhanced the interaction between ChMYB1 and ChbHLH42.Furthermore,ChABI5 inhibited the interaction between ChMYB1 and ChbHLH42.Our data elucidated the primary molecular mechanism of anthocyanin biosynthesis in C.humilis fruit,deepening the understanding of the regulatory network affecting anthocyanin metabolism in edible fruit crops.

SO_(2)-Insertion induced enantioselective oxysulfonylation to access β-chiral sulfones with quaternary carbon stereocenters

β-Chiral sulfones are structural motifs widely found in natural products and bioactive molecules, while also serving as important intermediates for the synthesis of valuable chiral scaffolds. In contrast to the rapid growth of sulfur dioxide insertion chemistry over the last decade, enantioselective catalytic variants for accessing β-chiral sulfones, especially those bearing a quaternary carbon stereocenter, remain rare. Herein, we report an enantioselective copper/bisoxazoline catalyzed oxysulfonylation of alkenes to yield isoxazolinyl-containing β-chiral sulfones bearing quaternary carbon stereocenters with moderate to excellent yields and up to 96:4 er. The advantage and irreplaceability of this sulfur dioxide insertion catalytic system have been demonstrated by achieving transformations clearly unavailable with the previously reported sulfonyl chloride system. Additionally,the recoverability of the new-developed bisoxazoline ligand L9 and its reusability without any erosion of the catalytic activity and enantioselectivity further demonstrate the usefulness of the protocol.

Improved forecasting via physics-guided machine learning as exemplified using“21·7”extreme rainfall event in Henan

As a natural disaster,extreme precipitation is among the most destructive and influential,but predicting its occurrence and evolution accurately is very challenging because of its rarity and uniqueness.Taking the example of the“21·7”extreme precipitation event(17–21 July 2021)in Henan Province,this study explores the potential of using physics-guided machine learning to improve the accuracy of forecasting the intensity and location of extreme precipitation.Three physics-guided ways of embedding physical features,fusing physical model forecasts and revised loss function are used,i.e.,(1)analyzing the anomalous circulation and thermodynamical factors,(2)analyzing the multi-model forecast bias and the associated underlying reasons for it,and(3)using professional forecasting knowledge to design the loss function,and the corresponding results are used as input for machine learning to improve the forecasting accuracy.The results indicate that by learning the relationship between anomalous physical features and heavy precipitation,the forecasting of precipitation intensity is improved significantly,but the location is rarely adjusted and more false alarms appear.Possible reasons for this are as follows.The anomalous features used here mainly contain information about large-scale systems and factors which are consistent with the model precipitation deviation;moreover,the samples of extreme precipitation are sparse and so the algorithm used here is simple.However,by combining“good and different”multi models with machine learning,the advantages of each model are extracted and then the location of the precipitation center in the forecast is improved significantly.Therefore,by combining the appropriate anomalous features with multi-model fusion,an integrated improvement of the forecast of the rainfall intensity and location is achieved.Overall,this study is a novel exploration to improve the refined forecasting of heavy precipitation with extreme intensity and high variability,and provides a reference for the deep fusion of

Strong metal-support interaction(SMSI)has a great impact on the activity and selectivity of heterogeneous catalysts,which was usually adjusted by changing reduction temperature or processing catalyst in different atmosphere.However,few researches concentrate on modulating SMSI through regulating the structure of the support.Herein,we show how changing the surface environment of the anatase TiO_(2)(B–TiO_(2))can be used to modulate the SMSI.The moderate TiOx overlayer makes the Ni metal highly dispersed on the high specific surface area of support,resulting in a substantially enhanced CO_(2)methanation rate.Besides,a novel phenomenon was observed that boron dopants promote the for-mation of the B–O–Ti interface site,enhancing the catalytic performance of CO_(2)hydrogenation.DFT calculations confirm that the B–O–Ti structure facilitates the activation of CO_(2)and further hydrogenation to methane.

杜甫诗中的特殊句式和散文差别较大,如果不了解这些特殊句式,就会影响诗的阅读和理解。杜甫诗中的特殊句式主要有六类。一是特殊话题句,其结构是“话题+V+NP”,话题可以是名词词组、动词词组、形容词词组在语义上可读作“V+NP+(之)+话题”。二是特殊“兼语句”,即一个普通动词带一个宾语,而在宾语后面又出现一个形容词,和前面的宾语构成主谓关系。三是关系语处于特定位置。如果关系语出现在通常主语、宾语所在的位置上,或者关系语插入句中,往往会引起误解。四是倒装句。在杜诗的注释中常有人提到“倒装”。仔细分析,很多都不是倒装。真正的倒装是有的,但不太多。五是连贯句。唐诗一般是两句一联,一联之中的两句,是两个独立的句子。但杜甫诗中,有的一联才是一个句子,上句和下句要连起来读,我们把它称为“连贯句”。六是二联相续。杜甫诗中有“一与三相续,二与四相续”和“一与四相续,二与三相续”两种情况。当然,诗词的语言毕竟是一种艺术的语言,有些句子高度凝缩,很难做出清晰的句子分析。

目前研究轴承的微极性流体润滑时,一般不考虑轴承表面粗糙度的影响。为处理重载工况下的轴承润滑需要建立综合考虑表面粗糙度和微极性流体综合影响的数学模型。基于平均流量法推导了适用于任意三维粗糙表面轴承的广义平均Reynolds方程。应用此方程分析了不同综合粗糙度均方根和表面方向参数下轴承的无量纲最大平均油膜压力随偏心率、无量纲微极流体特征长度和耦合系数的变化。结果表明,轴承的综合粗糙度均方根参数与无量纲微极流体特征长度和耦合系数具有很强的耦合特性。随着无量纲微极流体特征长度的减小或者耦合系数的增大,轴承的综合粗糙度均方根值越大,轴承的无量纲最大平均油膜压力越大。而且轴承的表面方向参数也具有类似的特性。提出的广义平均Reynolds方程是对现有微极流体润滑理论的补充,可以方便地用于任意三位粗糙表面轴承的微极流体润滑分析。此外,提出的广义平均Reynolds方程不仅适用于流体动力润滑领域的径向滑动轴承和推力轴承等摩擦副,而且也适用于混合润滑领域的活塞环-缸套等摩擦副。

所得税影响企业收益,从而影响企业投资决策。本文以2008年企业所得税“两税合一”改革为冲击,考察了企业所得税对外商投资的影响。研究证实,所得税率上升显著提高了外商减少投资的概率,且对成本导向与竞争力较低外资、“假外资”、高竞争行业外资以及来自港澳台和未签订双边税收协定国家外资的作用更大,通过扭曲贸易价格转移利润是外资企业应对税负增加的重要手段。本文还发现,中西部税收优惠政策的延续引起了外资企业的梯度转移。

[目的]针对在冲击激励作用下带限位器的隔振系统刚度呈非线性变化的问题,开展冲击动力学理论模型及其抗冲击性能研究。[方法]首先,利用分段线性等效思想,建立带分段线性刚度限位器的双向限位单层隔振系统冲击动力学理论模型;然后,利用解析法对理论模型进行解析求解,并与不同冲击工况下的有限元法冲击响应进行对比验证。[结果]在不同的冲击工况下,动力学理论模型的解析解与有限元数值解具有高度的一致性。[结论]通过对比分析,验证了带分段限位刚度的双向限位单层隔振系统冲击动力学理论模型及求解方法的准确性,可为带限位器隔振系统的工作原理与性能特点研究提供理论依据。
