A guinea pig model of Ciwujia Injection-induced anaphylaxis for allergic substance screening

Objective: Though especially efficient for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases treatment, many serious anaphylactic diseases could be induced by Ciwujia Injection(CWJI). However, study of the mechanism and detection of allergies have been investigated by the unknown sources of allergenic *** this study, a guinea pig model which could mimic the symptoms of anaphylactic reactions induced by Ciwujia Injection(CWJI) was modeled and used to screen the allergenic substance of ***: Guinea pigs were sensitized three times every other day with CWJI and excitated 14 d after the last sensitization administration. Then, the histamine, trypsin, IL-4 and IFN-γ levels, and the Annexin V positive rate of peritoneal mast cells(PMC) were detected, the numbers of B lymphocyte and the pathological changes were also analyzed to verify the guinea pig allergy model, PCA test and Ig E antibody levels were determined to study the ***: The levels of total IgE, histamine, and trypsin were significantly increased after CWJI sensitization, IL-4 level was elevated, Annexin V positive of PMC cell rate, local skin reactions, and declined IFN-γwere observed after excitation. Co-production of hydrogen, oxygen, and electricity via an integrated solar-driven system with decoupled water electrolyzer and Na-Zn ion battery

Combining water electrolysis and rechargeable battery technologies into a single system holds great promise for the co-production of hydrogen （H2） and ***,the design and development of such systems is still in its ***,an integrated hydrogen-oxygen （O2）-electricity co-production system featuring a bipolar membrane-assisted decoupled electrolyzer and a Na-Zn ion battery was established with sodium nickelhexacyanoferrate （NaNiHCF） and Zn2+/Zn as dual redox *** decoupled electrolyzer enables to produce H2and O2in different time and space with almost 100%Faradaic efficiency at 100 mA ***,the charged NaNiHCF and Zn electrodes after the electrolysis processes formed a Na-Zn ion battery,which can generate electricity with an average cell voltage of 1.75 V at 10 m A *** connecting Si photovoltaics with the modular electrochemical device,a well-matched solar driven system was built to convert the intermittent solar energy into hydrogen and electric energy with a solar to hydrogen-electricity efficiency of 16.7%,demonstrating the flexible storage and conversion of renewables.

A mild, configurable, flexible CoNi-LDH（v）/Zn battery based on H-vacancy-induced reversible Zn2+ intercalation

Flexible Zn-based batteries have attracted increasing research interest as essential components of wearable energy storage ***,the advancement of flexible aqueous Zn-based batteries based on Co-Ni layered double hydroxide （CoNi-LDH） as the cathode material is hampered by their poor cycling stability and the corrosiveness of alkaline ***,CoNi-LDH nanosheets enriched with H vacancies (CoNi-LDH（v）) were constructed on a flexible carbon cloth （CC） substrate via electrochemical deposition and *** Zn-based battery comprising CoNi-LDH（v）@CC as the cathode exhibited highly reversible conversion reactions and stable operation in 3 M ZnSO4electrolyte （pH=4）.The battery delivered an excellent specific capacity (225 mA h g-1,0.26 mA h cm-2),acceptable cycling stability（53.9%,900 cycles）,and high discharging *** abundant H vacancies served as active sites for the reversible intercalation of Zn2+and the extravasation of NO3-generated channels and space for Zn2+transport and storage,together enabling an excellent Zn2+storage ***,a sandwich-structured solid-state CoNi-LDH（v）@CC//Zn@CC battery was fabricated and was found to exhibit a noteworthy electrochemical performance and mechanical *** a proof of concept,the unencapsulated battery powered a digital watch under various deformation conditions and operated stably for 80 ***,the flexible battery displayed outstanding customizability,maintaining an open-circuit voltage of 1.42 V even after being cut *** proposed engineering strategy contributes to the realization of textiles with truly wearable energy-storage devices.

In situ polymerization of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)protective layer towards stable zinc anode

Aqueous zinc-ion devices are considered promising candidates for energy storage due to their high safety,low cost and relatively high energy ***,the dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and corrosion of the zinc anode significantly limit the development of Zn-ion ***,an inexpensive poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT)protective layer was constructed in situ on the Zn surface using electropolymerization to suppress dendrite growth and side reactions,thereby enhancing the reversibility of *** and theoretical calculations revealed that this hydrophilic protective layer promotes the desolvation process of hydrated Zn^(2+)and facilitates the transport of zinc ions,thus improving the thermodynamic and kinetic properties of Zn^(2+)deposition and inhibiting interfacial side ***,the optimized PEDOT@Zn symmetric battery exhibited a cycling stability exceeding 1250 h at 0.5 mA·cm^(-2)and 0.25 mAh·cm^(-2),with a significantly reduced overpotential(from 91.8 to 35 mV).With the assistance of the PEDOT protective layer,the PEDOT@Zn//Cu battery maintained approximately 99.5%Coulombic efficiency after 450 ***-situ scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and in situ optical microscopy characterizations further confirmed that the PEDOT protective layer can effectively suppress the growth of zinc ***,the Zn-ion capacitors assembled by the PEDOT@Zn and activated carbon also demonstrated outstanding cycling stability.

Human neural stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles protect against ischemic stroke by activating the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway
