Particle accelerators are indispensable tools in both science and ***,the size and cost of conventional RF accelerators limits the utility and scope of this *** research has shown that a dielectric laser accelerator(DLA)made of dielectric structures and driven at optical frequencies can generate particle beams with energies ranging from MeV to GeV at the tabletop *** design DLA structures with a high acceleration gradient,we demonstrate topology optimization,which is a method used to optimize the material distribution in a specific area based on given load conditions,constraints,and performance *** demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach,we propose two schemes and design several acceleration structures based on *** optimization results demonstrate that the proposed method can be applied to structure optimization for on-chip integrated laser accelerators,producing manufacturable structures with significantly improved performance compared with previous size or shape optimization *** results provide new physical approaches to explore ultrafast dynamics in matter,with important implications for future laser particle accelerators based on photonic chips.

Sequential Fluorescent Labeling Observation of Maxillary Sinus Augmentation by a Tissue-engineered Bone Complex in Canine Model

Aim To evaluate the effects of maxillary sinus floor elevation by a tissue-engineered bone complex of β-tricalcium phosphate （β-TCP） and autologous osteoblasts in dogs. Methodology Autologous osteoblasts from adult Beagle dogs were cultured in vitro. They were further combined with β-TCP to construct the tissue-engineered bone complex. 12 cases of maxillary sinus floor elevation surgery were made bilaterally in 6 animals and randomly repaired with the following 3 groups of materials： Group A （osteoblasts/D-TCP）; Group B （β-TCP）; Group C （autogenous bone）（n=4 per group）. A polychrome sequential fluorescent labeling was performed post-operatively and the animals were sacrificed 24 weeks after operation for histological observation.Results Our results showed that autologous osteoblasts were successfully expanded and the osteoblastic phenol- types were confirmed by ALP and Alizarin red staining. The cells could attach and proliferate well on the surface of the ~3-TCP scaffold. The fluorescent and histological observation showed that the tissue-engineered bone complex had an earlier mineralization and more bone formation inside the scaffold than β-TCP along or even autologous bone. It had also maximally maintained the elevated sinus height than both control groups. Conclusion Porous 13-TCP has served as a good scaffold for autologous osteoblasts seeding. The tissue-engineered bone complex with β-TCP and autologous osteoblasts might be a better alternative to autologous bone for the clinical edentulous maxillary sinus augmentation.

The underlying physics of QCD phase transition in the early Universe remains largely unknown due to its strong-coupling nature during the quark-gluon plasma/hadron gas transition, yet a holographic model has been proposed to quantitatively fit the lattice QCD data while with its duration of the first-order phase transition(FoPT) left undetermined. At specific baryon chemical potential, the first-order QCD phase transition agrees with the observational constraint of baryon asymmetry. It, therefore, provides a scenario for phase transition gravitational waves(GWs) within the standard model of particle physics. If these background GWs could contribute dominantly to the recently claimed common-spectrum red noise from pulsar timing array(PTA) observations, the duration of this FoPT can be well constrained, and the associated primordial black holes are still allowed by current observations.

Currently,with the advent of high-repetition-rate laser-plasma experiments,the demand for online diagnosis for the X-ray spectrum is increasing because the laser-plasma-generated X-ray spectrum is very important for characterizing electron dynamics and *** this study,scintillators and silicon PIN(P-type–intrinsic-N-type semiconductor)diodes were used to construct a wideband online filter stack *** X-ray sensor and filter arrangement was optimized using a genetic algorithm to minimize the condition number of the response ***,the unfolding error was significantly reduced based on numerical *** detector responses were quantitatively calibrated by irradiating the scintillator and PIN diode with various nuclides and comparing the measuredγ-ray peaks.A prototype 15-channel spectrometer was developed by integrating an X-ray detector with front-and back-end *** prototype spectrometer could record X-ray pulse signals at a repetition rate of 1 ***,an optimized spectrometer was employed to record the real-time spectra of laser-driven bremsstrahlung *** optimized spectrometer offers a compact solution for spectrum diagnostics of ultrashort X-ray pulses,exhibiting improved accuracy in terms of spectrum measurements and repetition rates,and could be widely used in next-generation high-repetition-rate high-power laser facilities.

Poststro ke cognitive impairment is a major secondary effect of ischemic stroke in many patients;however,few options are available for the early diagnosis and treatment of this *** aims of this study were to(1)determine the specific relationship between hypoxic andα-synuclein during the occur of poststroke cognitive impairment and(2)assess whether the serum phosphorylatedα-synuclein level can be used as a biomarker for poststro ke cognitive *** found that the phosphorylatedα-synuclein level was significantly increased and showed pathological aggregation around the cerebral infa rct area in a mouse model of ischemic *** addition,neuronalα-synuclein phosphorylation and aggregation were observed in the brain tissue of mice subjected to chronic hypoxia,suggesting that hypoxia is the underlying cause ofα-synuclein-mediated pathology in the brains of mice with ischemic *** phosphorylatedα-synuclein levels in patients with ischemic stroke were significantly lower than those in healt hy subjects,and were positively correlated with cognition levels in patients with ischemic ***,a decrease in serum high-density lipoprotein levels in stroke patie nts was significantly correlated with a decrease in phosphorylatedα-synuclein *** ischemic stroke mice did not show significant cognitive impairment or disrupted lipid metabolism 14 days after injury,some of them exhibited decreased cognitive function and reduced phosphorylatedα-synuclein *** together,our results suggest that serum phosphorylatedα-synuclein is a potential biomarker for poststroke cognitive impairment.

Background To investigate the effect of intra-aortic balloon pumping （IABP） on no-reflow phenomenon primary percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） for ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction （STEMI）. Methods Clinical data of 22 acute myocardial infarction patients after PCI with angiographic no-reflow phenomenon were retrospectively analyzed between January 2006 and December 2009.12 patients underwent IABP, other 10 patients as control group. We observed difference of cardiac structure, brain natriuretic peptide （BNP） and ventricular systolic function between two group, as well as cardiac injury markers （MYO,CK-MB, cTnI） in both groups on the days of 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 after the different interventions. In addition, cardiac structure and ventricular systolic function including left atrium medial diameter （LAMD）, left ventricular medial diameter （LVMD）, left ventricular ejection fraction （LVEF） was evaluated after 10 days, 3 months,6 months Finally, statistics was used to analysis the data. Results The several vasoactive substances as well as cardiac injury markers and LAMD, LVMD, LVEF of 10 days, 3 months, 6 months of IABP group were significant difference with control group significant difference （P 〉 0.0 PCI with angiographic no-reflo （P 〈 0.05）. 5）. Conclusions w phenomenon, BNP targets of IABP group compared with the control group no IABP has effects on prognosis in STEMI patients who performed which is conducive to recovery of heart function.

目的探讨清肠化湿方(Qingchang Huashi recipe,QHR)联合口服美沙拉嗪治疗活动期轻中度溃疡性结肠炎(ulcerative colitis,UC)的临床疗效.方法 2013-01/2015-01浙江省奉化市中医医院消化科108例UC患者按随机数字表分为观察组和对照组,每组各54例.对照组患者予以美沙拉嗪缓释片口服,观察组患者在对照组治疗的基础上试验组给予QHR口服,2组的疗程均为8 wk.比较治疗后2组患者症状积分、肠镜表现积分、病理积分及临床有效率.同时比较2组患者的血清中的炎症因子水平.结果 (1)观察组患者的症状积分、肠镜表现积分、病理积分较对照组低(均P<0.05);(2)观察组患者的总有效率明显高于对照组(94.4%vs 83.3%,均P<0.05);(3)观察组患者治疗后血清中肿瘤坏死因子-a、白介素(interleukin,IL)-6及IL-17均低于对照组,而血清中的IL-13的水平则明显高于对照组(均P<0.05).结论 QHR联合美沙拉嗪治疗治疗UC能较好的减轻临床症状,改善肠镜及病理表现,同时降低炎症反应,提高临床疗效.

The term“gut microbiota”primarily refers to the ecological community of various microorganisms in the gut,which constitutes the largest microbial community in the human *** adequate bowel preparation can improve the results of colonoscopy,it may interfere with the gut *** preparation for colonoscopy can lead to transient changes in the gut microbiota,potentially affecting an individual’s health,especially in vulnerable populations,such as patients with inflammatory bowel ***,measures such as oral pro-biotics may ameliorate these adverse *** focused on the bowel prepa-ration-induced changes in the gut microbiota and host health status,hypothesized the factors influencing these changes,and attempted to identify measures that may reduce dysbiosis,thereby providing more information for individualized bowel preparation for colonoscopy in the future.
