Magnesium(Mg)batteries(MBs),as post-lithium-ion batteries,have received great attention in recent years due to their advantages of high energy density,low cost,and safety ***,the formation of passivation layers on the surface of Mg metal anode and the poor compatibility between Mg metal and conventional electrolytes during charge-discharge cycles seriously affect the performance of *** great possibility of generating Mg dendrites has also caused controversy among ***,the regulation of Mg deposition and the enhancement of battery cycle stability is largely limited by interfacial stability between Mg metal anode and *** this review,recent advances in interfacial science and engineering of MBs are summarized and *** attention is given to interfacial chemistry including passivation layer formation,incompatibilities,ion transport,and dendrite *** for building stable electrode/interfaces,such as anode designing and electrolyte modification,construction of artificial solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)layers,and development of solid-state electrolytes to improve interfacial contacts and inhibit Mg dendrite and passivation layer formation,are *** approaches,representative examples,and challenges in developing high-performance anodes are described in *** on the review of these strategies,reference is provided for future research to improve the performance of MBs,especially in terms of interface and anode design.

The present study was designed to further investigate the C_(21) steroidal glycosides in Cynanchum *** new steroidal glycosides based on a 13,14:14,15-disecopregnane-type aglycone,komaroside P(1) and komaroside Q(2),together with three known compounds(3-5) were isolated from the whole herbs of Cynanchum *** aglycones of compounds 1 and 2 were two new *** structures were elucidated on the basis of 1 D,2 D NMR spectroscopic data and acid *** the compounds(1-5) showed potent inhibitory activities against human leukemia cell lines(HL-60) with IC50 values ranging from 16.6 to 26.3 μmol·L^(-1),compared to the positive control 5-fluorouracil(6.4 μmol·L^(-1)).

In this work, two kinds of self-assembled hierarchical BiOBr microcrystals were rapidly synthesized through a simple microwave-assisted route in the presence of reactable ionic liquid 1-hexadecyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide([C_(16)mim]Br). These porous and hollow BiOBr microspheres were obtained via a facile solvothermal method with or without polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP), respectively. During the synthetic process, ionic liquid [C_(16)mim]Br played as solvent, reactant and template at the same time. Moreover, the BiOBr hollow and porous microspheres exhibited outstanding photocatalytic activities for the degradation of rhodamine B(RhB) under visible light irradiation. A possible photocatalytic mechanism was also discussed in detail. It can be assumed that the higher photocatalytic activities of BiOBr porous microspheres materials could be ascribed to the novel structure, larger specific surface area, narrower band gap structure and smaller particle size.

Background Low responsiveness to clopidogrel （LRC） is associated with increased risk of ischemic events. This study was aimed to explore the feasibility of tailored antiplatelet therapy according to the responsiveness to clopidogrel. Methods A total of 305 clopidogrel naive patients with acute coronary syndromes （ACS） undergoing coronary stenting were randomly assigned to receive standard （n = 151） or tailored （n = 154） antiplatelet therapy. The ADP-induced platelet aggregation tests by light transmission aggregometry were performed to identify LRC patients assigned to the tailored group. The standard antiplatelet regimen was dual antiplatelet therapy with aspirin and clopidogrel. The tailored antiplatelet therapy was standard regimen for non-LRC patients and an additional 6-month cilostazol treatment for LRC patients. The primary efficacy outcome was the composite of cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction or stroke at one year. Results LCR was present in 26.6% （41/154） of patients in the tailored group. The percentage platelet aggregation for LCR patients was significantly decreased at three days after adjunctive cilostazol treatment （77.5% ± 12.1% vs. 64.5% ± 12.1%, P 〈 0.001）. At one year follow-up, a non-significant 37% relative risk reduction of primary events were observed in the tailored group as compared to the standard group （5.8% vs. 9.3%, P = 0.257）. There were no differences in the rates of stent thrombosis and hemorrhagic events between the two groups. Conclusions Tailored antiplatelet therapy for ACS patients after coronary stenting according to responsiveness to clopidogrel is feasible. However, its efficacy and safety need further confirmation by clinical trials with larger sample sizes.

A novel magnetic method using polystyrene modified magnetic nanoparticles to perform thermoheadspace extraction was successfully developed for extraction and preconcentration of volatile organic components in dry Traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM） based on gas chromatography-ion trap/mass spectrometry with a Chromato Probe direct sample introduction device. The dried fruit of Amomum testaceum Ridl. was used as the object TCM. The optimum parameters of headspace magnetic solid-phase extraction were investigated, in which desorption solvent ethyl acetate played a key role in this method,and the headspace extraction temperature of 90℃ and the headspace extraction time of 15 min finally decided. Headspace solid-phase microextraction method was also used to analyze volatile compounds in the TCM to compare with the proposed method. The results show that 60 components were identified totally by two methods; most of the low boiling point chemical compounds are isolated by this new method. In this work, an environmental-friendly and cheap analytical method was established, and a new approach to analyze volatile compounds in dry Traditional Chinese Medicine was also provided.

Quantitative real-time PCR （qRT-PCR） has become a routine and robust technique for measuring the expression of genes of interest, validating microarray experiments and monitoring biomarkers. However, concerns have been raised over the accuracy of qRT-PCR in China as well as in the rest of the world. We have previously used qRT-PCR to study the response of ANR1 and other root-expressed MADS-box genes to fluctuations in the supply of nitrate, phosphate and sulphate under hydroponic growth conditions. In this study, we have used both Northern blotting and qRT-PCR analyses to confirm the nutritional regulation of MADS-box genes in Arabidopsis thaliana and test whether both technologies produce the same results. The information obtained indicated that the qRT-PCR results are consistent with those obtained by Northern blotting hybridization for all the tested root-expressed MADS-box genes, in response to different nitrate, phosphate and sulphate growth conditions. Furthermore, our novel results showed that the expressions of AGL12, AGL18, and AGL19 were all down regulated in response to S and P re-supply in both qRT-PCR and Northern blotting analyses.
