The underlying physics of QCD phase transition in the early Universe remains largely unknown due to its strong-coupling nature during the quark-gluon plasma/hadron gas transition, yet a holographic model has been proposed to quantitatively fit the lattice QCD data while with its duration of the first-order phase transition(FoPT) left undetermined. At specific baryon chemical potential, the first-order QCD phase transition agrees with the observational constraint of baryon asymmetry. It, therefore, provides a scenario for phase transition gravitational waves(GWs) within the standard model of particle physics. If these background GWs could contribute dominantly to the recently claimed common-spectrum red noise from pulsar timing array(PTA) observations, the duration of this FoPT can be well constrained, and the associated primordial black holes are still allowed by current observations.

Background:Simiaowan(SMW),a well-known traditional Chinese medicine,has been employed to treat hyperuricemia(HUA)and gout for ***,the bioactive components and underlying mechanisms have not been *** objective of this study was to identify the active components and potential mechanisms of SMW by integrating pharmacological experimentation,serum pharmacochemistry,network pharmacology and molecular ***:HUA rats modelling by high-fat/high-sugar diet and potassium oxonate/adenine oral administration were used to evaluate the pharmacodynamic effects of ***-Q-Exactive-MS/MS was employed to detect the bioactive components present in SMW-containing *** pharmacology and molecular docking were utilized to elucidate the potential targets and underlying ***:SMW effectively ameliorated HUA rats via the inhibition of uric acid(UA)production,promotion of UA excretion,improvement of lipid and glucose metabolic abnormalities,antioxidant,anti-inflammatory and anti-insulin resistance effects.A total of 73 compounds detected in SMW-containing serum were identified as potential active components,with alkaloids,flavonoids,organic acids,and terpenoids emerging as the primary active *** 203 corresponding targets were obtained as SMW anti-HUA/gout targets,which mainly participated in apoptosis,insulin resistance,TNF,PI3K-Akt,HIF-1,NF-κB,MAPK,IL-17 and TLR signaling *** docking indicated that active compounds(***,phellodendrine,quercetin,formononetin,ferulic acid)had superior binding abilities to the key targets(*** carrier family 22 member 12(URAT1),solute carrier family 22 member 6(OAT1),ATP-binding cassette sub-family G member 2(ABCG2),solute carrier family 2,facilitated glucose transporter member 9(GLUT9),xanthine dehydrogenase/oxidase(XDH),transcription factor p65(RELA),toll-like receptor 4(TLR4),prostaglandin G/H synthase 2(PTGS2),caspase-3(CASP3),insulin(INS)).Conclusion:S

Cooling crystallization is an important separation process and particuology technology that requires accurate nucleation control ***,we introduced the polymeric hollow fiber membrane with proper thermal properties as the effective nucleation induction interface during cooling *** heterogeneous nucleation control mechanism was introduced based on classical nucleation theory and the thermal transfer *** properties and the thermal conductivity of two kinds of polymeric membranes,polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)and polyethersulfone(PES),were measured and simulated with the developed *** two membranes possessed different nucleation induction periods,nucleation rates and crystallization performances,which validated that the hollow fiber membrane module could effectively accelerate the nucleation process compared to conventional cooling crystallization owing to the shorter nucleation induction period and the reduced solution surface *** to the higher hydrophobicity and the lower roughness of the membrane surface,the PTFE membrane possessed a more moderate performance in generating stable heterogeneous nucleation than the one of PES ***,the adjustable membrane property enabled the hollow fiber membrane-assisted cooling crystallization to possess the accurate nucleation control and desired terminal particle products.

YAGG:Ce transparent ceramics with high luminous efficiency for solid-state lighting application

A series of Y2.985Al5–xGaxO12:0.015Ce(YAGG:Ce,x=0,1,2,3,4,5)transparent ceramics were prepared via a solid-state reaction ***-step sintering technique was proved to be an effective approach to prepare functional ceramics with high Ga concentration,and Y3Ga5O12(YGG)transparent ceramic was successfully prepared for the first *** to the variation of Al/Ga ratio,regulation of band structure and luminescence properties of YAGG:Ce transparent ceramics were effectively *** Ga substitutes Al sites,the tetrahedral site is more favorable compared to the octahedral site for Ga to occupy according to the first-principle calculation.A continuous blue shift of the emission from 565 to 515 nm was achieved as Ga was gradually introduced into Y3Al5O12:Ce *** quality green light was obtained by coupling the YAGG:Ce ceramics with commercial blue InGaN *** luminescence ceramics accomplished in this work can be quite prospective for high power LED application.

Classifying large-scale networks into several categories and distinguishing them according to their fine structures is of great importance to several real-life ***,most studies on complex networks focus on the properties of a single network and seldom on classification,clustering,and comparison between different networks,in which the network is treated as a *** methods can hardly be applied on networks directly due to the non-Euclidean properties of *** this paper,we propose a novel framework of Complex Network Classifier(CNC)by integrating network embedding and convolutional neural network to tackle the problem of network *** training the classifier on synthetic complex network data,we show CNC can not only classify networks with high accuracy and robustness but can also extract the features of the networks *** also compare our CNC with baseline methods on benchmark datasets,which shows that our method performs well on large-scale networks.

We propose a refined version of trans-Planckian censorship conjecture(TCC), which could be elaborated from the strong scalar weak gravity conjecture combined with some entropy bounds. In particular, no fine-tuning on the inflation model-building is required in the refined TCC, and it automatically passes the tests from those stringy examples that support the original ***, our refined TCC could be consistent with hilltop eternal inflation.

Triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG) is an emerging powerful technology for converting ambient mechanical energy into electrical energy through the effect of triboelectricity. Starting from the expanded Maxwell’s equations, the theoretical framework of TENGs has been gradually established. Here, a review is given about its recent progress in constructing of this general theory. The fundamental mechanism of TENGs is constructed by the driving force—Maxwell’s displacement current, which is essentially different from that of electromagnetic generators. Theoretical calculations of the displacement current from a threedimensional mathematical model are presented, as well as the theoretical studies on the TENGs according to the capacitor models. Furthermore, the figure-of-merits and standards for quantifying the TENG’s output characteristics are discussed, which will provide important guidelines for optimizing the structure and performance of TENGs toward practical applications. Finally,perspectives and challenges are proposed about the basic theory of TENGs and its future technology development.
