Depositional model of the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex of the Dengying Formation in the southwestern Sichuan Basin, SW China: Implications for the Ediacaran microbial mound construction and hydrocarbon exploration

Recent advances in hydrocarbon exploration have been made in the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex reservoirs of the Dengying Formation in the western Sichuan Basin, SW China,where the depositional process is regarded confusing. The microfacies, construction types, and depositional model of the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been investigated using unmanned aerial vehicle photography, outcrop section investigation, thin section identification,and seismic reflections in the southwestern Sichuan Basin. The microbialite lithologic textures in this region include thrombolite, dendrolite, stromatolite, fenestral stromatolite, spongiostromata stone,oncolite, aggregated grainstone, and botryoidal grapestone. Based on the comprehensive analysis of“depositional fabrics-lithology-microfacies”, an association between a fore mound, mound framework,and back mound subfacies has been proposed based on water depth, current direction, energy level and lithologic assemblages. The microfacies of the mound base, mound core, mound flank, mound cap, and mound flat could be recognized among the mound framework subfacies. Two construction types of marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been determined based on deposition location, mound scale, migration direction, and sedimentary facies association. Type Jinkouhe microbial mound constructions(TJMMCs) develop along the windward margin owing to their proximity to the seaward subfacies fore mound, with a northeastwardly migrated microbial mound on top of the mud mound,exhibiting the characteristics of large-sized mounds and small-sized banks in the surrounding area. Type E'bian microbial mound constructions(TEMMCs) primarily occur on the leeward margin, resulting from the presence of onshore back mound subfacies, with the smaller southwestward migrated microbial mounds existing on a thicker microbial flat. Recent studies indicate that some Galactic open clusters(OCs)exhibit extended main-sequence turnoff(eMSTO)in their color–magnitude diagrams(CMDs).However,the number of Galactic OCs with eMSTO structures detected so far is limited,and the reasons for their formation are still *** work identifies 26 Galactic OCs with undiscovered eMSTOs and investigates the causes of these *** population types and fundamental parameters of cluster samples are acquired using CMD fitting *** them,the results of 11 OCs are reliable as the observed CMDs are *** propose the crucial role of stellar binarity and confirm the importance of stellar rotation in reproducing eMSTO *** results also show that the impact of age spread is important,as it can adequately explain the structure of young OCs and fit the observed CMDs of intermediate-age OCs better.

Bending Failure Mode and Prediction Method of the Compressive Strain Capacity of A Submarine Pipeline with Dent Defects

A dent is a common type of defects for submarine *** submarine pipelines,high hydrostatic pressure and internal pressure are the main *** pipelines bend due to complex subsea conditions,the compression strain capacity may be *** into the local buckling failure and accurate prediction of the compressive strain capacity are important.A finite element model of a pipeline with a dent is *** buckling failure under a bending moment is investigated,and the compressive strain capacity is *** effects of different parameters on pipeline local buckling are *** results show that the dent depth,external pressure and internal pressure lead to different local buckling failure modes of the pipeline.A higher internal pressure indicates a larger compressive strain capacity,and the opposite is true for external *** the ratio of external pressure to collapse pressure of intact pipeline is greater than 0.1,the deeper the dent,the greater the compressive strain capacity of the *** as the ratio is less than 0.1,the opposite is *** the basis of these results,a regression equation for predicting the compressive strain capacity of a dented submarine pipeline is proposed,which can be referred to during the integrity assessment of a submarine pipeline.

Adjuvant therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma:Dilemmas at the start of a new era

Enhanced visible light absorption of Bi_(2)WO_(6)/SiO_(2) with abundant adsorbed oxygen for the degradation of organic pollutant

Heterogeneous photocatalysts exhibit high catalytic efficiency in the degradation of pollutants,but their stability and repeatability is not very good and requires high structural *** by nanosizing the pure Bi_(2)WO_(6)(BWO)photocatalyst without constructing a heterojunction,there is a significant improvement in its performance,with an enhancement effect of about 2.3 times(99.43%).The high photocatalytic degradation efficiency of the material can be attributed to the enhanced light absorption effect brought by the three-dimensional inverse-opal structure SiO_(2)(IS)and the abundant surface adsorbed oxygen generated after the formation of Si–O–W *** addition,the introduction of IS greatly increases the surface area of nanostructured BWO,which accelerates the charge transfer process,while the adsorbed oxygen promotes the participation of·O^(2−) in the photocatalytic reaction,thereby accelerating the consumption of photo-generated electrons and ultimately improving the separation of charge ***,the matched photonic bandgap further improves the absorption and utilization of light of the *** this work,we constructs Si–O–W bonds to obtain inverse-opal SiO_(2)/Bi_(2)WO_(6) with uniformly growth of pure phase nano BWO,which provides a feasible strategy for the preparation of high-performance pure-phase photocatalysts.

Operational Characteristics of Loop Heat Pipe in Microgravity and Normal Gravity Environments

The loop heat pipe(LHP)is an advanced,efficient two-phase heat transfer unit,whose operational performance may be affected by microgravity conditions in contrast to ground-based *** performance of on-orbit temperature data and ground test of a copper-propylene LHP with a condenser temperature range of 243.15 K to 303.15 K were employed to compared and *** LHP has successfully started up for more than 193 times with a good heat transfer performance and a stable start-up stabilization on-orbit under a complex orbital heating environment for more than eight *** a small heat load(10.0W),the average start-up time is 110.0 s while the start-up temperature ranges from 5.71 K-12.78 *** start-up time at large temperature differences in the high temperature zone will be higher than the time required for start-up at smaller temperature differences in the low *** the condenser temperature is 250.0 K,the stable temperature difference on orbit is 3.83 K,which is generally consistent in heat transfer compared to 2.20 K in the ground *** this paper,we can conclude that the on-orbit flight data up to now can provide a reference to the design of subsequent LHP space applications.

NeurstrucEnergy:A bi-directional GNN model for energy prediction of neural networks in IoT
