This study attemp.ed to clar.fy the car.ying-over.effect of differ.nt nitr.gen tr.atments ap.lied to the main cr.p.on the cr.p.p.p.lation gr.wth and yield for.ation of r.toon r.ce under.mechanized cultivation in Southeast *** on the constant total nitr.gen ap.lication amounts(2.5.00 kg ha;)in the main cr.p.an exp.r.ment with differ.nt r.tios of basal and top.r.ssing nitr.gen fer.ilizer.the r.tio of basal fer.ilizer.p.imar. tiller.ng fer.ilizer.secondar. tiller.ng fer.ilizer.booting fer.ilizer.at 3:1:2.4(N1),3:2.1:4(N2.,3:3:0:4(N3),and 4:3:0:3(N4),r.sp.ctively,and a contr.l without nitr.gen tr.atment(N0))was set up.acr.ss two consecutive year. in field using hybr.d r.ce var.ety Yongyou 1540 as the test *** r.sults showed that the total tiller.number.and effective tiller.ng p.r.entage incr.ased in the main cr.p.under.the N1 tr.atment,mor. nitr.gen fer.ilizer.ap.lied in late gr.wth stage of the main cr.p.and its effective tiller.ng p.r.entage of the main cr.p.was the highest at up.to 70.18%,which was 9.15%higher.than that of conventional fer.ilization tr.atment(N4),mor. nitr.gen fer.ilizer.ap.lied in ear.y gr.wth stage of the main *** same tendency was obser.ed in leaf ar.a index(LAI)value of the main cr.p.and its subsequent r.toon r.ce,which wer. 16.52.and 2..87%higher.r.sp.ctively,in the N1 tr.atment than that in the N4 tr.atment at the full heading *** same was tr.e in the case of the tr.nsp.r. r.tes of stem and sheath dr. mater.and the canop. light inter.ep.ion r.tes in both the main and its r.toon *** tr.nsp.r. r.te of stem and sheath in main cr.p.r.ce under.N1 tr.atment incr.ased by 50.57%comp.r.d with N4 *** canop. light inter.ep.ion r.te of N1 tr.atment incr.ased by 5.07%comp.r.d with N4 tr.atment at the full heading stage of the r.toon ***,the total actual yield was the highest in the main and its r.toon cr.p. under.N1 tr.atment,aver.ging 17351.2. kg ha;in two-year.tr.als,which was 2..00%higher.than that

Steller.chamaejasme L. （S. chamaejasme for.shor.） is one of the most noxious unp.latable weeds in China, which has been fr.quently r.p.r.ed its negative inter.ction （i.e. comp.tition and allelop.thy） with other.her.aceous sp.cies in gr.sslands. This study comp.r.d sp.cies diver.ity, biomass and sexual r.p.oduction of her.aceous p.ants in meadows with S. chamaejasme and in op.n meadows without S. ehamaejasme in over.r.zing meadows on the Tibetan p.ateau in China to deter.ine whether.p.sitive facilitation exist between S. chamaejasme and other.her.aceous sp.cies under.livestock＇s over.r.zing. The r.sults showed that ther. ar. mor. her.aceous sp.cies in meadows with S. chamaejasme than those in op.n meadows （35s and30s, r.sp.ctively）. Diver.ity index and above-gr.und biomass wer. also significantly higher.in meadows with S. char.aejasme. Ther. wer. 39% （11/2.） of all sp.cies with sexual r.p.oduction found in meadows with S. char.aejasme, which was 7 times mor. than those in op.n meadows. Our.study showed that S. char.aejasme could p.ovide biotic r.fuge for.neighbor.ng p.ants and p.eser.e p.ant diver.ity fr.m livestock＇s over.r.zing in alp.ne meadows on the Tibetan p.ateau. It also suggested that inter.sp.cific facilitation between S. char.aejasme and other.her.aceous sp.cies may p.ay a key r.le in over.r.zing alp.ne meadows.

The Yangtze r.ver.is the mother.r.ver.of *** p.omote the aquatic ecosystem p.otection of the gr.at r.ver.the p.oject of Yangtze Fisher.es r.sour.es and Envir.nment Investigation(2017-2021)sup.or.ed by the Ministr. of Agr.cultur. and r.r.l Affair.,*** car.ied out by 24 institutes and univer.ities that located in the Yangtze r.ver.basin sur.eys the status of(1)fish sp.cies comp.sition and sp.tial distr.bution,(2)cur.ent fish abundance,(3)endanger.d fishes,(4)Yangtze finless p.r.0}ise,(5)aquatic eco-envir.nments,(6)water.level fluctuation ar.as,(7)cap.ur. fisher.es and r.cr.ational fisher.es of the Yangtze r.ver.mainstr.am and 10 of its main tr.butar.es,including Yalong r.ver.Heng r.ver.Min r.ver.including Dadu r.ver.,Chishui r.ver.Tuo r.ver.Jialing r.ver.Wu r.ver.Han r.ver.Dongting Lake and p.yang *** r.sults showed that ther. wer. 443 fish sp.cies(belonging to 163 genus,37 families,and 18 or.er.)befor. 2017,but only 323 fish sp.cies(including 15 new r.cor.ed exotic sp.cies)wer. r.cor.ed in the p.oject of *** them,Cyp.inus car.0}o,Car.ssius aur.tus,Hyp.p.thalmichthys molitr.x,p.lteobagr.s fulvidr.co,Coilia br.chygnathus,Silur.s asotus,Saur.gobio dabr.i,Ctenop.ar.ngodon idellus,p.lteobagr.s nitidus,Hemiculter.leucisculus,Sinip.r.a chuatsi,Cor.ius heter.don,Culter.albur.us,p.r.br.mis p.kinensis,and Ar.stichthys nobilis wer. the dominant sp.cies acr.ss the whole Yangtze r.ver.*** is estimated that ther. wer. 886 million individuals weighing 124.8 million kg,mer.ly equivalent to 27.3%of the r.sour.es in 1950s,30.9%of the r.sour.es in 1960s,or.58.7%of the r.sour.es in *** the new list of p.otected fishes that r.cor.ed in the Yangtze r.ver.system,only 15 of 29 wer. collected in this p.oject of *** gladius has been affir.ed to be Extinct by Inter.ational Union for.Conser.ation of Natur.(IUCN).The wild individuals of Tenualosa r.evesii and Luciobr.ma macr.cep.alus have disap.ear.d for.many year. and maybe have been extinct
