Tumor immunotherapy,particularly cancer vaccines,holds promise for combating cancer by harnessing tailored immune responses against malignant ***,conventional approaches face challenges in efficiently delivering antigens for optimal immune *** adjuvants,like MF59,enhance cellular uptake but struggle to induce robust CD8^(+)T cell ***,we introduce a novel strategy employing a water-in-oil-in-water(W/O/W)multiple Pickering emulsion(mPE)for antigen *** mPE,utilizing biocompatible,pH-sensitive particles,encapsulates antigens within the inner water phase,ensuring enhanced intracellular processing and dictating the intracellular fate of antigens for improved *** vitro and in vivo studies demonstrated that mPEs induced robust dendritic cells activation and antigen cross-presentation,leading to a significantly enhanced immune ***,calcium phosphate-stabilized mPE(CaP-mPE)illustrated the more robust IFN-γ^(+)T cell *** comparison with traditional surfactant-stabilized multiple emulsions,CaP-mPE significantly inhibit tumor growth and effectively prolong the survival of tumor-bearing *** innovative approach offers a promising avenue for the development of effective cancer vaccines with potent cellular immune responses.

Ground hydraulic fracturing plays a crucial role in controlling the far-field hard roof,making it imperative to identify the most suitable target stratum for effective *** experiments are conducted based on engineering properties to simulate the gradual collapse of the roof during longwall top coal caving(LTCC).A numerical model is established using the material point method(MPM)and the strain-softening damage constitutive model according to the structure of the physical *** simulations are conducted to analyze the LTCC process under different hard roofs for ground hydraulic *** results show that ground hydraulic fracturing releases the energy and stress of the target stratum,resulting in a substantial lag in the fracturing of the overburden before collapse occurs in the hydraulic fracturing *** hydraulic fracturing of a low hard roof reduces the lag effect of hydraulic fractures,dissipates the energy consumed by the fracture of the hard roof,and reduces the abutment ***,it is advisable to prioritize the selection of the lower hard roof as the target stratum.

Electrode materials with high desalination capacity and long-term cyclic stability are the focus of capacitive deionization(CDI) community. Understanding the causes of performance decay in traditional carbons is crucial to design a high-performance material. Based on this, here, nitrogen-doped activated carbon(NAC) was prepared by pyrolyzing the blend of activated carbon powder(ACP) and melamine for the positive electrode of asymmetric CDI. By comparing the indicators changes such as conductivity, salt adsorption capacity, pH, and charge efficiency of the symmetrical ACP-ACP device to the asymmetric ACP-NAC device under different CDI cycles, as well as the changes of the electrochemical properties of anode and cathode materials after long-term operation, the reasons for the decline of the stability of the CDI performance were revealed. It was found that the carboxyl functional groups generated by the electro-oxidation of anode carbon materials make the anode zero-charge potential(E_(pzc)) shift positively,which results in the uneven distribution of potential windows of CDI units and affects the adsorption capacity. Furthermore, by understanding the electron density on C atoms surrounding the N atoms, we attribute the increased cyclic stability to the enhanced negativity of the charge of carbon atoms adjacent to quaternary-N and pyridinic-oxide-N.

Lymph node targeting is a commonly used strategy for particulate vaccines,particularly for Pickering ***,extensive research on the internal delivery mechanisms of these emulsions,especially the complex intercellular interactions of deformable Pickering emulsions,has been surprisingly *** gap in knowledge holds significant potential for enhancing vaccine *** study aims to address this by summarizing the process of lymph-node-targeting transport and introducing a dissipative particle dynamics simulation method to evaluate the dynamic processes within cell *** transport of Pickering emulsions in skeletal muscle tissue is specifically investigated as a case *** factors impacting the transport process are explored,including local cellular tissue environmental factors and the properties of the Pickering emulsion *** simulation results primarily demonstrate that an increase in radial repulsive interaction between emulsion particles can decrease the transport ***,larger intercellular gaps also diminish the transport efficiency of emulsion droplet particles due to the increased motion complexity within the intricate transport space compared to a single *** study sheds light on the nuanced interplay between engineered and biological systems influencing the transport dynamics of Pickering *** insights hold valuable potential for optimizing transport processes in practical biomedical applications such as drug ***,the desired transport efficiency varies depending on the specific *** instance,while a more rapid transport might be crucial for lymph-node-targeted drug delivery,certain applications requiring a slower release of active components could benefit from the reduced transport efficiency observed with increased particle repulsion or larger intercellular gaps.

Light emitting diode(LED) is the fourth generation lighting source,but it has some shortcomings such as complex chip packaging process and the unbalanced light color of phosphor in long-time *** this study,a kind of Eu-terephthalic acid/Tb-sulfosalicylate/ZrO_(2)/ZnZrO_(3)(Eu-PTA/Tb-SSA/ZrO_(2)/ZnZrO_(3))phosphor with warm white light emission properties was prepared,and the warm white light LED(wWLEDs) was successfully prepared by encapsulating Eu-PTA/Tb-SSA/ZrO_(2)/ZnZrO_(3) phosphors together with 270 nm *** ZrO_(2)/ZnZrO_(3),Tb-SSA/ZrO_(2)/ZnZrO_(3) and Eu-PTA/ZrO_(2)/ZnZrO_(3) samples show blue emission,green emission and red emission under deep ultraviolet(UV,270 nm) excitation,*** Tb-SSA and Eu-PTA are co-doped into ZrO_(2)/ZnZrO_(3) matrix with blue emission to achieve the warm white light emission,and the light color can be adjusted by controlling the doping amount of Eu^(3+)-and Tb^(3+).Through the excitation method of single-component phosphor by the single chip,the complex chip packaging process of w-LED can be *** doping rare earth organic complexes into porous ZrO_(2)/ZnZrO_(3) matrix,the problems of the light color unbalanced of phosphor and the low luminescence intensity of rare earth doped metal oxides composites can be solved.

Exfoliation corrosion(EFC)has rarely been reported for wrought magnesium *** EFC of the as-extruded Mg–1Li–1Ca alloy was observed after the removal of outermost fine-grained *** microstructure and corrosion products were investigated using optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy,electron backscattered diffraction,X-ray diffraction,and Fourier transform infrared *** corrosion behavior was analyzed using electrochemical polarization,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,and scanning Kelvin probe *** results indicated that the surface of Mg–1Li–1Ca,with the superficial layer removed,was more susceptible to EFC.A linear correlation between grain boundary density and corrosion resistance was ***,the influence of factors such as grain size,intermetallic compounds,different alloy surfaces,and corrosion products on EFC were discussed,and the corresponding EFC mechanism was clarified.
