Chaotic Signal Denoising Algorithm Based on Self-Similarity

Inspired by the self-similar fractal properties of chaotic attractors and the heuristics of similarity filtering of images, a novel chaotic signal denoising algorithm is proposed. By grouping the chaotic signal with similar segments, the denoising of one-dimensional input is transformed into a two-dimensional joint filtering problem. Singular value decomposition is performed on the grouped signal segments and the transform coefficients are processed by thresholding to attenuate noise and finally undergo inverse transformation to recover the *** the similar segments in the grouping have good correlation, the two-dimensional transformation of the grouping can obtain a more sparse representation of the original signal compared with the threshold value denoising in the direct one-dimensional transform domain, thereby having better noise suppression effect. Simulation results show that the algorithm can improve the reconstruction accuracy and has better signal-to-noise ratio than existing chaotic signal denoising algorithms.

We present an overview of quantum-safe cryptography(QSC) with a focus on post-quantum cryptography(PQC) and information-theoretic security. From a cryptographic point of view, lattice and code-based schemes are among the most promising PQC solutions. Both approaches are based on the hardness of decoding problems of linear codes with different metrics. From an information-theoretic point of view, lattices and linear codes can be constructed to achieve certain secrecy quantities for wiretap channels as is intrinsically classical-and quantum-safe. Historically, coding theory and cryptography are intimately connected since Shannon's pioneering studies but have somehow diverged later. QSC offers an opportunity to rebuild the synergy of the two areas, hopefully leading to further development beyond the NIST PQC standardization process. In this paper, we provide a survey of lattice and code designs that are believed to be quantum-safe in the area of cryptography or coding theory. The interplay and similarities between the two areas are discussed. We also conclude our understandings and prospects of future research after NIST PQC standardisation.

Data hiding plays an important role in privacy protection and authentication,but most data hiding methods fail to achieve satisfactory performance in resisting scaling attacks and additive *** this end,this paper proposes a new quantization index modulation(QIM)variant based on division domains(D-QIM).It can not only resist the above two attacks well,but also adjust the performance trade-offs by controlling the *** results confirm the performance gain of D-QIM in terms of the bit error rate(BER).

In case of bright targets over a dark background, the cross-correlation noise of Multiple input and multiple output(MIMO) Synthetic aperture radar(SAR) orthogonal waveforms in the same frequency coverage will increase which can degrade the image. An Interpulse Costas hopping and intra-pulse Slope coded linearly frequency modulated(IPC-SCLFM) waveform is designed and analyzed to decrease the autocorrelation and cross-correlation noise. Besides a novel acquisition mode of "MIMO Coprime SAR"(MIMO-Cop SAR) is proposed with Coprime arrays(Co-arrays) in receive across the SAR line of flight based on digital beamforming. An improved processing by multiplying values at each pixel of two coarrays images is proposed to suppress the cross-correlation noise. MIMO-Cop SAR can effectively suppress the crosscorrelation noise, reduce the amount of data to be stored and get high signal-to-noise ratio in a simple way. The effectiveness of MIMO-Cop SAR for maritime surveillance is demonstrated by the simulation experiments.

Dimeric sesquiterpenoids possessing densely substituted 7-norbornenone/7-norbornenol motifs pose a considerable challenge for chemical synthesis. From a strategic perspective, one could envision intermolecular Diels-Alder cycloaddition as a straightforward method for assembling alkyl-substituted 7-norbornenones. However, this approach is hindered by lability of the required dienes, namely alkylsubstituted cyclopentadienones. Here we report a one-pot protocol for construction of alkyl-substituted7-norbornenones from electron-deficient olefins and a cyclopentenone derivative. DDQ was found to be an effective oxidant for generating a cyclopentadienone intermediate in situ from the enone. A series of sterically congested 7-norbornenone-containing polycyclic compounds were prepared by using this protocol.
