Objective:To evaluate the anti-inflammatory potential of aqueous extract of Pterocarpus santalinus *** using molecular docking and in vivo ***:An aqueous extract of Pterocarpus santalinus heartwood was prepared using a Soxhlet *** in the extract were tentatively identified using high-resolution mass *** docking experiments were carried out to evaluate the binding affinity of selected compounds,phloridzin to cyclooxygenase-1(cOX-1),cyclooxygenase-2(cOX-2),prostaglandin E synthase-1(PGES-1)and 5-lipoxygenase(5-LOX).Anti-inflammatory potential was evaluated by carageenan induced paw edema model in ***:The presence of major component phloridzin along with quercetin,parthenin,ginkgolide B,picrotoxinin,usnic acid,octopine,and epigallocatechin was detected in the *** docking study showed that phloridzin inhibited cOX-1,cOX-2,PGES-1 and 5-LOX with more affinity than ibuprofen and *** santalinus heartwood extract at 200 and 400 mg/kg BW showed signific.n. reduction in carageenan-induced hind paw edema in a dose-dependent manner,but the effect was slow when compared with the standard ibuprofen(30 mg/kg p.o.).c.n.lusions:The study indicated that after clinical trials,the aqueous extract of Pterocarpus santalinus heartwood c.n.be effectively used in phytotherapy to treat inflammation.

With increasing incidence of diabetes, use of diabetes specific.n.trition supplements (DSnS) is common for better management of the disease. To study effect of 12-week DSnS supplementation on glycemic markers, anthropometry, lipid profile, ScFAs, and gut microbiome in individuals with diabetes. Markers studied were glycemic [Fasting Blood Glucose (FBG), Post Prandial Glucose (PPG), HbA1c, Incremental Area under curve (iAUc), Mean Amplitude of Glycemic Excursions (MAGE), Time in/above Range (TIR/TAR)], anthropometry [weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), waist circumference (Wc)], lipid profile, diet and gut health [plasma short chain fatty acids (ScFAs)]. n = 210 adults were randomized to receive either DSnS with standard care (DSnS + Sc.n.= 105) or standard care alone (Sc alone;n = 105). After 12 weeks, signific.n. differences between DSnS + Sc versus Sc alone was observed in FBG [−3 ± 6 vs 14 ± 6 mg/dl;p = 0.03], PPG [−35 ± 9 vs −3 ± 9 mg/dl;p = 0.01], weight [−0.6 ± 0.1 vs 0.2 ± 0.1 kg;p = 0.0001], BMI [−0.3 ± 0.1 vs 0.1 ± 0.1 kg/m2;p = 0.0001] and Wc [−0.3 ± 0.2 vs 0.2 ± 0.2 cm;p = 0.01]. HbA1c and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) were signific.n.ly reduced in DSnS + Sc [−0.2 ± 0.9;p = 0.04 and −5 mg/dl;p = 0.03] respectively with no change in c.n.rol. c.n.inuous Glucose Monitoring (cGM) reported signific.n. differences between DSnS + Sc versus Sc alone for mean glucose [−12 ± 65 vs 28 ± 93 mg/dl;p c [−192 (1.1) vs −48 (1.1) mg/dl;p = 0.03]. MAGE was signific.n.ly reduced for both DSnS + Sc (−19 ± 67;p nd Sc alone (−8 ± 70;p = 0.04), with reduction being more pronounced for DSnS + Sc. The hydrogeochemical variations in groundwater are mainly influenced by lithology,residence time of water in the aquifer matrix,and anthropogenic *** study was focused on the geochemical variations of groundwater in different lithological units(Archaean,cretaceous,Tertiary,and Quaternary)by understanding the major factors governing the geochemical variations in each *** 71 groundwater samples were collected from these rock types,namely,Archaean(14),cretaceous(37),Tertiary(11),Quaternary(9).The collected samples were measured for major ions and they were used for preparation of standard geochemical plots and ionic *** analysis and factor score were used to identify the major factors c.n.rolling the hydrochemistry and their spatial distribution in the study *** addition,geochemical model,WATEQ 4 F was used to determine the saturation c.n.ition of carbonate and sulphate minerals in the ***–cl and mixed ca–na–HcO3 were the dominant hydrochemical facies irrespective of lithological *** overall interpretation of geochemical data revealed that leaching of sec.n.ary salts,weathering and ion exchange reaction along the groundwater flow path through various lithological units,and anthropogenic influence from domestic sewages and agricultural activities c.n.titute the major geochemical processes in the study ***,this study brings out the multiple hydrogeochemical process in the complex geological terrain along the cretaceous-Tertiary boundary.

Titanium tube and stainless steel tube plate were welded by an innovative friction welding of tube to tube plate using an external tool (FWTPET). copper was used as an interlayer for joining the dissimilar materials and also to minimize the effect of intermetallics formed at the joint interface. The process parameters that govern FWTPET process are plunge rate, rotational speed, plunge depth, axial load and flash trap profile. Among them, the flash trap profile of the tube has a signific.n. influence on the joint integrity. Various flash trap profiles like vertical slots, holes, zig-zag holes, and petals were made on the titanium tube welded to the stainless steel tube plate. Macroscopic and microscopic studies reveal defect-free joints. The presence of copper interlayer and intermetallics was evident from X-ray diffraction (XRD), sc.n.ing electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) studies. The microhardness survey was presented across and along the interface. A novel test procedure called “plunge shear test” was developed to evaluate the joint properties of the welded joints. The highest shear fracture load of 31.58 kn was observed on the sample having petals as flash trap profile. The sheared surfaces were further characterized using SEM for fractography.

The stability of the drug actarit was studied under different stress c.n.itions like hydrolysis（acid,alkaline and neutral）,oxidation,photolysis and thermal degradation as recommended hy International c.n.erence on Harmonization（IcH） *** was found to be unstable in acidic,basic and photolytic c.n.itions and produced a common degradation product while oxidative stress c.n.ition produced three additional degradation *** was impassive to neutral hydrolysis,dry thermal and accelerated stability *** products were identified,isolated and characterized by different spectroscopic *** and the degradation products were synthesized by a new route using green *** chromatographic separation of the drug and its impurities was achieved in a phenomenex luna c18 column employing a step gradient elution by high performance liquid chromatography coupled to photodiode array and mass spectrometry detectors（HPLc-PDAMS）.A specilic and sensitive stability-indicating assay method for the simultaneous determination of the drug *** process related impurities and degradation products was developed and validated.

本文对化学镀镍及化学镀镍磷基质中SiO2与cr2O3的共沉积进行了研究。微粒在不断生长的膜层中共沉积引起了新的化学复合镀层的出现,这些复合镀层许多都具有优异的耐磨及耐蚀性能。通过选取镀层合金/复合微粒/金属基体的组分可改进镀层,获得所需的性能,以满足特别的需求。在对这些复合镀层的应用需求正在迫近与增长的同时,其市场正在迅速扩张。本文开发出了一种合适的复合化学镀镍液,并通过维氏硬度法对化学复合镀镍层进行了表征。采用动电位极化及交流阻抗法测定了镀层的Taber耐磨性能及耐蚀性能。采用SEM及XRD对复合镀层的表面形貌进行了分析。

针对沿海建筑易受氯盐侵蚀而导致混凝土内部钢筋锈蚀,从而造成结构承载力下降甚至发生破坏的状况,将碳纤维加固与电化学除氯等2种技术结合,以验证碳纤维加固对除氯效果的影响。结果表明,碳纤维加固与未加固的混凝土板经电化学除氯后内部氯离子浓度都有显著降低,其中,钢筋周围的氯离子浓度降低最明显。最后通过优化碳纤维布的粘贴位置,避开钢筋下方,来降低碳纤维布对除氯效果的影响。再试验的结果表明,碳纤维覆盖区域和未覆盖区域的除氯效果相近,这对于实际工程应用具有一定的指导意义。
