The Y chromosome plays key roles in male fertility and reflects the evolutionary history of paternal lineages.Here,we present a de novo genome assembly of the Hu sheep with the first draft assembly of ovine Y chromosome(o MSY),using nanopore sequencing and Hi-C technologies.The o MSY that we generated spans 10.6 Mb from which 775 Y-SNPs were identified by applying a large panel of whole genome sequences from worldwide sheep and wild Iranian mouflons.Three major paternal lineages(HY1a,HY1b and HY2)were defined across domestic sheep,of which HY2 was newly detected.Surprisingly,HY2 forms a monophyletic clade with the Iranian mouflons and is highly divergent from both HY1a and HY1b.Demographic analysis of Y chromosomes,mitochondrial and nuclear genomes confirmed that HY2 and the maternal counterpart of lineage C represented a distinct wild mouflon population in Iran that diverge from the direct ancestor of domestic sheep,the wild mouflons in Southeastern Anatolia.Our results suggest that wild Iranian mouflons had introgressed into domestic sheep and thereby introduced this Iranian mouflon specific lineage carrying HY2 to both East Asian and Africa sheep populations.

Catalysts can accelerate the chemical reaction rate and effectively promote the molecules transformation,which is of great significance in the research of chemical industry and material science.The extreme utilization of reactive sites has led to the emergence and development of atomically dispersed materials(ADMs).The highly active coordination unsaturated metal sites and fully utilized metal atoms make ADMs show great potential in catalytic reactions.The adjustment of coordination environment and electronic structure provides more possibilities for constructing reactive centers with different properties.This review summarized the application and research progress of ADMs in different fields.The design strategy and structure–activity relationship of ADMs for specific reactions were summarized and analyzed.Moreover,we also provided advices for the challenges and opportunities faced by ADMs in catalytic reactions.

Aqueous rechargeable Zn-metal batteries(ARZBs)are considered one of the most promising candidates for grid-scale energy storage.However,their widespread commercial application is largely plagued by three major challenges:The uncontrollable Zn dendrites,notorious parasitic side reactions,and sluggish Zn^(2+) ion transfer.To address these issues,we design a sustainable dual crosslinked cellulose hydrogel electrolyte,which has excellent mechanical strength to inhibit dendrite formation,high Zn^(2+) ions binding capacity to suppress side reaction,and abundant porous structure to facilitate Zn^(2+) ions migration.Consequently,the Zn||Zn cell with the hydrogel electrolyte can cycle stably for more than 400 h under a high current density of 10 mA cm^(−2).Moreover,the hydrogel electrolyte also enables the Zn||polyaniline cell to achieve high-rate and long-term cycling performance(>2000 cycles at 2000 mA g^(−1)).Remarkably,the hydrogel electrolyte is easily accessible and biodegradable,making the ARZBs attractive in terms of scalability and sustainability.

In this paper,the authors consider the distributed adaptive identification problem over sensor networks using sampled data,where the dynamics of each sensor is described by a stochastic differential equation.By minimizing a local objective function at sampling time instants,the authors propose an online distributed least squares algorithm based on sampled data.A cooperative non-persistent excitation condition is introduced,under which the convergence results of the proposed algorithm are established by properly choosing the sampling time interval.The upper bound on the accumulative regret of the adaptive predictor can also be provided.Finally,the authors demonstrate the cooperative effect of multiple sensors in the estimation of unknown parameters by computer simulations.

In this study,the cobalt-nickel layered double hydroxides(CoNi LDH)were synthesized with a variety of Co/Ni mass ratio,as CoxNiyLDHs.In comparison,Co1Ni3LDH presented the best peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation efficiency for 2,4-dichlorophenol removal.Meanwhile,CoNi LDH@Nickel foam(CoNi LDH@NF)composite membrane was constructed for enhancing the stability of catalytic performance.Herein,CoNi LDH@NF-PMS system exerted high degradation efficiency of 99.22%within 90 min for 2,4-DCP when[PMS]_(0)=0.4 g/L,Co^(1)Ni^(3)LDH@NF=2 cm×2 cm(0.2 g/L),reaction temperature=298 K.For the surface morphology and structure of the catalyst,it was demonstrated that the CoNi LDH@NF composite membrane possessed abundant cavity structure,good specific surface area and sufficient active sites.Importantly,·OH,SO_(4)·^(-)and^(1)O_(2)played the primary role in the CoNi LDH@NF-PMS system for 2,4-DCP decomposition,which revealed the PMS activation mechanism in CoNi LDH@NF-PMS system.Hence,this study eliminated the stability and adaptability of CoNi LDH@NF composite membrane,proposing a new theoretical basis of PMS heterogeneous catalysts selection.

Production of linear alkylbenzene over Ce containing Beta zeolites

Ce-encapsulated Beta zeolite was synthesized by a one-pot hydrothermal method with citric acid complexing Ce in the absence of Na species.Additional citric acid can effectively prevent the deposition of Ce species during the hydrothermal synthesis of zeolites,leading to uniform distribution of Ce cluster in the framework of Beta zeolites.Moreover,the sodium-free synthesis system resulted that the Brønsted acid sites were mainly located on the straight channels and external surface of Beta zeolites,improving the utilization of Brønsted acid sites.In addition,Ce encapsulated Beta zeolites showed enhanced activity and robust stability in the alkylation of benzene with 1-dodecene based on the synergistic effect between Ce species and Brønsted acid sites,which pave the way for its practical application in the production of alkylbenzene.
