Recently,the substance P(SP)/neurokinin-1 receptor(NK-1R)system has been found to be involved in various human pathophysiological disorders including the symptoms of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).Besides,studies in the oncological field have demonstrated an intricate correlation between the upregulation of NK-1R and the activation of SP/NK-1R system with the progression of multiple carcinoma types and poor clinical *** findings indicate that the modulation of SP/NK-1R system with NK-1R antagonists can be a potential broad-spectrum antitumor *** review updates the latest potential and applications of NK-1R antagonists in the treatment of human diseases and cancers,as well as the underlying ***,the strategies to improve the bioavailability and efficacy of NK-1R antagonist drugs are summarized,such as solid dispersion systems,nanonization,and *** a radiopharmaceutical therapeutic,the NK-1R antagonist aprepitant was originally developed as radioligand receptor to target NK-1R-overexpressing ***,combining NK-1R antagonists with other drugs can produce a synergistic effect,thereby enhancing the therapeutic effect,alleviating the symptoms,and improving patients’quality of life in several diseases and cancers.

Imaging through nonstatic scattering media is one of the major challenges in optics, and encountered in imaging through dense fog, turbid water, and many other situations. Here, we propose a method to achieve single-shot incoherent imaging through highly nonstatic and optically thick turbid media by using an end-to-end deep neural network. In this study, we use fat emulsion suspensions in a glass tank as a turbid medium and an additional incoherent light to introduce strong interference noise. We calibrate that the optical thickness of the tank of turbid media is as high as 16, and the signal-to-interference ratio is as low as -17 dB. Experimental results show that the proposed learning-based approach can reconstruct the object image with high fidelity in this severe environment.

The problem of imaging through thick scattering media is encountered in many disciplines of science,ranging from mesoscopic physics to *** become diffusive after propagating through a scattering medium with an optical thickness of over 10 times the scattering mean free *** a result,no image but only noise-like patterns can be directly *** propose a hybrid neural network for computational imaging through such thick scattering media,demonstrating the reconstruction of image information from various targets hidden behind a white polystyrene slab of 3 mm in thickness or 13.4 times the scattering mean free *** also demonstrate that the target image can be retrieved with acceptable quality from a very small fraction of its scattered pattern,suggesting that the speckle pattern produced in this way is highly *** leads to a profound question of how the information of the target being encoded into the speckle is to be addressed in future studies.

Optical cryptanalysis is essential to the further investigation of more secure optical ***-based at-tack of optical encryption eliminates the need for the retrieval of random phase keys of optical encryption systems but it is limited for practical applications since it requires a large set of plaintext-ciphertext pairs for the cryptosystem to be ***,we propose a two-step deep learning strategy for ciphertext-only attack(COA)on the classical double ran-dom phase encryption(DRPE).Specifically,we construct a virtual DRPE system to gather the training ***,we divide the inverse problem in COA into two more specific inverse problems and employ two deep neural networks(DNNs)to respectively learn the removal of speckle noise in the autocorrelation domain and the de-correlation operation to retrieve the plaintext *** these two trained DNNs at hand,we show that the plaintext can be predicted in real-time from an unknown ciphertext *** proposed learning-based COA method dispenses with not only the retrieval of random phase keys but also the invasive data acquisition of plaintext-ciphertext pairs in the DPRE *** simulations and optical experiments demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed learning-based COA method.
