The numerical solution of compressible flows has become more prevalent than that of incompressible *** the help of the artificial compressibility approach,incompressible flows can be solved numerically using the same methods as compressible *** artificial compressibility scheme is thus widely used to numerically solve incompressible Navier-Stokes *** numerical method highly depends on its accuracy and speed of *** the artificial compressibility approach is utilized in several numerical simulations,the effect of the compressibility factor on the accuracy of results and convergence speed has not been investigated for nanofluid flows in previous ***,this paper assesses the effect of this factor on the convergence speed and accuracy of results for various types of *** improve the stability and convergence speed of time discretizations,the fifth-order Runge-Kutta method is applied.A computer program has been written in FORTRAN to solve the discretized equations in different Reynolds and Grashof numbers for various *** results demonstrate that the artificial compressibility factor has a noticeable effect on the accuracy and convergence rate of the *** optimum artificial compressibility is found to be between 1 and *** findings can be utilized to enhance the performance of commercial numerical simulation tools,including ANSYS and COMSOL.

Heat exchangers are utilized extensively in different industries and ***,optimizing heat exchangers has been a major concern among *** various studies have been conducted to improve the heat transfer rate,the use of a wavy wall in the presence of different types of heat transfer mechanisms has not been *** study thus investigates the mixed heat transmission behavior of fluid in a horizontal channel with a cavity and a hot,wavy *** fluid flow in the channel is considered laminar,and the governing equations including continuity,momentum,and energy are all solved *** numerical solution is stabilized by using a first-order multi-dimensional characteristic-based scheme in combination with a fifth-order Runge-Kutta *** flow and heat transfer effects of varying Richardson numbers,Reynolds numbers,wave amplitude,wavelength,channel height,and cavity width are *** results indicate that the mean Nusselt number increases with an increase in Reynolds number,wave amplitude,and cavity width,while it decreases with an increase in Richardson number,wavelength,and channel *** minimum Nusselt number is calculated to be 0.7,whereas the maximum Nusselt number is *** Nusselt number has only increased by 40%in the higher depths of the cavity,despite the Richardson number being 10,000 times *** this figure increases to 130%at lower *** mean Nusselt number is thus significantly influenced by channel height and cavity *** influence of wave amplitude on the mean Nusselt number is twice that of wavelength.

In this new information era,the transfer of data and information has become a very important *** data must be kept secured from unauthorized persons using *** science of cryptography depends not only on complex mathematical models but also on encryption *** acid encryption is a promising model for data *** this paper,we propose an amino acid encryption model with two encryption *** first key is generated randomly using the genetic *** second key is called the protein key which is generated from converting DNA to a protein ***,the protein message and the first key are used in the modified Playfair matrix to generate the cypher *** experimental results show that the proposed model survives against known attacks such as the Brute-force attack and the Ciphertext-only *** addition,the proposed model has been tested over different types of characters including white spaces and special characters,as all the data is encoded to 8-bit *** performance of the proposed model is compared with other models using encryption time and decryption *** model also balances all three principles in the CIA triad.

基于对和声搜索优化算法(HSO)特点及其优越性的分析,将其应用于埃及苏伊士湾Amal油田Kareem油藏油藏工程辅助历史拟合中。HSO算法具有如下优越性:对解空间探索和开发能力之间的良好平衡使得算法具有鲁棒性和高效性;生成解的多样性由两个组件有效控制,更适用于油藏工程历史拟合这样的高度非线性问题;和声记忆库取值、微调和随机化3个组件之间的配合有助于找到无偏性解;算法实现过程简单。将HSO算法与油藏工程辅助历史拟合中2种常用的优化技术(遗传算法和粒子群算法)应用于3个不同复杂程度的油藏工程历史拟合问题——2个不同尺度的物质平衡历史拟合和1个油藏历史拟合,通过对比3种算法拟合效果验证了HSO算法的正确性和优越性。Kareem油藏历史拟合结果表明,在辅助历史拟合工作流中采用HSO算法作为优化方法可以显著提高拟合质量,缩短求解时间。

Based on the analysis of characteristics and advantages of HSO(harmony search optimization) algorithm, HSO was used in reservoir engineering assisted history matching of Kareem reservoir in Amal field in the Gulf of Suez, Egypt. HSO algorithm has the following advantages:(1) The good balance between exploration and exploitation techniques during searching for optimal solutions makes the HSO algorithm robust and efficient.(2) The diversity of generated solutions is more effectively controlled by two components, making it suitable for highly non-linear problems in reservoir engineering history matching.(3) The integration between the three components(harmony memory values, pitch adjusting and randomization) of the HSO helps in finding unbiased solutions.(4) The implementation process of the HSO algorithm is much easier. The HSO algorithm and two other commonly used algorithms(genetic and particle swarm optimization algorithms) were used in three reservoir engineering history match questions of different complex degrees, which are two material balance history matches of different scales and one reservoir history matching. The results were compared, which proves the superiority and validity of HSO. The results of Kareem reservoir history matching show that using the HSO algorithm as the optimization method in the assisted history matching workflow improves the simulation quality and saves solution time significantly.

Phase change materials(PCMs)are used in buildings and automobiles to control the interior temperature,following to their high thermal storage capacity and energy *** summer,controlling the interior temperature of vehicles can be difficult,especially in cities where public transportation is excessively ***,heating,ventilation,and air-conditioning systems are included to provide thermal comfort inside vehicles,but they use a significant amount fuel,which ultimately have negative impacts on the *** this study,a prototype bus model was developed from an actual bus and scaled-down to 1/20th size.A bulb was used as an internal heat source and experiments were conducted under the sun in summer to reflect scenarios of buses stuck in *** cases were considered by opening and closing the windows and doors and placing the PCM layer on the roof and covering the *** results demonstrate that when the PCM is used to cover the bulb and roof,the interior temperature can drop to the ambient temperature and remain there for a longer period of *** fact,keeping the windows and doors open results in a significantly lower indoor temperature than when they are *** results show that the heat from the engine makes a major contribution to raising the temperature inside of the *** results from the opened cases can be applied to various forms of public transportation worldwide,but for many closed vehicles,additional ducting systems integrated with PCM may be the best option.

To develop basis for strategic or arranged decision making towards crop yield improvement in Thailand, a new method in which crop models could be used is essential. Therefore, the objective of this study was to measure cultivar specific parameters by using DSSAT (v4.7) Cropping Simulation Model (CSM) with five upland rice genotypes namely Dawk Pa-yawm, Mai Tahk, Bow Leb Nahng, Dawk Kha 50 and Dawk Kahm. Experiment was laid out in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with split plot design. Results showed that five upland rice genotypes had significantly affected each other by different temperature treatments (28°C, 30°C, 32°C) with grain yield, tops weight, harvest index, flowering, and maturity date. At the same time, all the phenological traits had highly significant variation with the genotypes. The cultivar specific parameters obtained by using a temperature tolerant cultivar (Basmati 385) with five upland genotypes involved in the DSSAT4.7-CSM. Model evaluation results indicated that utilizing the estimated cultivar coefficient parameters, model simulated well with varying temperature treatments as indicated by the agreement index (d-statistic) closer to unity. Hence, it was estimated that model calibration and evaluation was realistic in the limits of test cropping seasons and that CSM fitted with cultivar specific parameters can be used in simulation studies for investigation, farm managing or decision making. Objective:To evaluate the cardiac activity and hepatoprotection of Crataegus sinaica (***).Methods:All the isolated compounds were isolated by open-column liquid chromatography(CC) using sephadex LH-20 as stationary *** of the column was performed with EtOH or *** phytochemical investigation of the young stem of *** for the first time together with the leaves and flowers lead to the isolation and identification of quercetin,hyperoside,vitexin-2"-0-rhamnoside,epicatechin,procyanidin B2 and procyanidins ***:Rats treated with the low and high dose of *** leaves with flowers extract showed 15%and 17%reduction in the heart rate,and reduction in the STsegment by 107%and 57%;*** T-amplitude was decreased by 59%of the high dose *** the other hand,the young steins and leaves with flowers extracts of *** on primary culture of rat hepatocytes monolayer indicated a hepatoprotection for the total extract,ethyl acetate,butanol,and chlor of orm fractions at 100μg/mL,75μg/mL,50μg/mL,and 25μg/mL; ***:The results of these chemical and biological studies suggest the use of *** growing in Egypt as a preventive drug against cardiovascular and hepatic diseases. The chemical studies suggest the use of woody young stems as a newly investigated bioactive *** extraction of unsaturated fatty acids from the seeds of the plant would serve as a good health and nutritive product.
