In this study,a calcium.phosphate coating was form.d on a m.-m.-Ce alloy by the plasm. electrolytic oxidation(PEO).The antibiotic vancom.cin,widely used in the treatm.nt of infections caused by staphylococcus aureus(***),was im.regnated into the *** with vancom.cin showed high bactericidal activity against *** m.chanical and electrochem.cal properties of the form.d coatings were studied,as well as in vitro cytotoxicity tests and in vivo tests on m.ture m.le rats were *** to sEm.EDs,XRD and XPs data,coatings had a developed m.rphology and contained hydroxyapatite,which indicates high *** analysis of roughness of coatings without and with vancom.cin did not reveal any differences,confirm.ng the high roughness of the *** electrochem.cal tests,an increase in corrosion resistance by m.re than two tim.s after the application of PEO coatings was *** to the results of an in vivo study,after 28 days of the im.lantation of sam.les with calcium.phosphate PEO coating and vancom.cin,no signs of inflam.ation were observed,while an inflam.atory reaction developed in the area of im.lantation of bare alloy,followed by *** release tests from.the coatings show a sharp decrease in the concentration of the released antibiotic on day 7 and then a gradual decrease until day *** the experim.nt,no significant deviations in the condition and behavior of the anim.ls were observed;clinical tests did not reveal a system.c toxic reaction.

A com.rehensive proton-exchange m.m.rane fuel cell stack m.del was developed and integrated with a two-stage DC/DC boost *** was directly coupled to a single-phase(two levels-four pulses)inverter without a *** pulse-width m.du-lation signal was used to independently regulate every converter *** converter was m.delled using a m.TLAB®/sim.link®environm.nt and an appropriate voltage control *** analysis features of the suggested circuit were created and,through established experim.nts,the sim.lation results were verified.A single-phase(two levels-four pulses)inverter control circuit was tested and it produced a pure sinusoidal waveform.with voltage *** m.tches the voltage of the network in term. of am.litude and frequency.A sinusoidal pulse-width m.dulation approach was perform.d using a single-phase(two levels-four pulses)pulse-width m.dulation *** results dem.nstrated an enhancem.nt in the standard of the output wave and tuned the dead tim. with a reduction of 63μs com.ared with 180μs in conventional techniques.

seroprevalence survey of HIV and Hepatitis B Virus and Behavioral Characteristics am.ng Heavy Truck Drivers along Port sudan-Khartoum.Highways

The prevalence of hum.n im.unodeficiency virus (AIDs) and hepatitis B virus am.ng heavy truck drivers and their assistants has been well docum.nted globally in correlation with their behavioral characteristics. The present study aim.d to screen for hum.n im.unodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B virus (HBV), and behavioral characteristics am.ng heavy truck drivers in Port sudan. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 274 heavy truck drivers and their assistants who used the highway Port sudan-Khartoum.in Port sudan city during 2019-2021. Data on behavioral characteristics and substance use habits were collected using a structured questionnaire, and an ELIsA test was used to screen for HIV and HBV infections in the study participants. The chi-square test, odds ratio, and confidence intervals were used to find the association between behavioral characteristics and seropositive HIV/HBV. Of the 274 enrolled participants, the seroprevalence rates of HIV were 2.7% and HBV was 23.7%. Ninety-four (34.3%) of them.had a history of high-risk sexual behavior outside of m.rriage;only two (0.7%) used condom.;14.2% of participants reported alcohol use;and 1.1% reported drug use. Univariate analysis revealed that having a sex history outside of m.rriage with ≥1 sex partner and never using a condom.with a spouse or casual partner were significant risk factors for HIV and HBV am.ng drivers. Fortunately, we found that m.st of the drivers reported low alcohol and drug use. Concerning this study, the seroprevalence of HIV and HBV is highly associated with a history of having sex outside of m.rriage and sexual behavior am.ng truck drivers and assistances. Additional studies are needed to further investigate other sTIs and behavioral characteristics associated with factors in truck drivers/assistance in different truck stop regions in sudan.

The present study is a system.tic effort to investigate the structure-sensitive m.gnetic param.ters of Ce^(3+) substituted Ba-sr hexaferrite nanocrystals chem.cally form.lated as Ba_(0.5)sr_(0.5)Ce_(x)Fe_(12-x)O_(19) where x=0.0-0.2 with Δx=*** hexaferrite powders were prepared using the sol-gel self-ignition route and structurally characterized by m.ans of powder X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform.infrared *** creation of the m.type hexaferrite phase within the synthesized sam.les was revealed from.the Rietveld refinem.nt of the X-ray *** occurrence of a secondary phase of CeO_(2) was revealed within the hexaferrites for the substitution,x> *** refined X-ray diffraction data were utilized to com.ute the lattice param.ters,X-ray density,and lattice param.ter *** crystal structure plotted from.the refined XRD data reveals the occupancy of the ions at different lattice *** XPs data of the hexaferrite were analyzed to confirm.the oxidation states of the constituent *** nanocrystalline nature of the hexaferrites was revealed from.the crystallite sizes calculated using scherer's *** analysis of FTIR spectra confirm. that only a fraction of Ce^(3+)accom.odated in the lattice and the rem.ining Ce content reside in the form.of the CeO_(2) *** m.rphology of the hexaferrites was analyzed from.the FEsEm.profiles of the ferrite *** m.gnetic behavior study was perform.d by analyzing the Curie tem.erature,hysteresis loops,and hyperfine interactions by m.ans of susceptibility,V.s.m.and m.ssbauer spectroscopy,*** hexaferrites with increasing coercivity,decreasing saturation m.gnetization,and decreasing Curie tem.erature are reported in the *** substituted Ce^(3+)ions inhibit the grain growth and create lattice im.erfections giving rise to hexaferrites with tuned m.gnetic param.ters suitable for different applications.

In this editorial,we com.ent on the article by Zhang et al entitled Developm.nt of a m.chine learning-based m.del for predicting the risk of early postoperative recurrence of hepatocellular *** carcinom.(HCC),which is characterized by high incidence and m.rtality rates,rem.ins a m.jor global health challenge prim.rily due to the critical issue of postoperative *** recurrence,defined as recurrence that occurs within 2 years posttreatm.nt,is linked to the hidden spread of the prim.ry tum.r and significantly im.acts patient *** predictive factors,including both patient-and treatm.nt-related factors,have lim.ted predictive ability with respect to HCC *** integration of m.chine learning algorithm. is fueled by the exponential growth of com.utational power and has revolutionized HCC *** study by Zhang et al dem.nstrated the use of a groundbreaking preoperative prediction m.del for early postoperative HCC *** persist,including sam.le size constraints,issues with handling data,and the need for further validation and *** study em.hasizes the need for collaborative efforts,m.lticenter studies and com.arative analyses to validate and refine the *** these challenges and exploring innovative approaches,such as m.lti-om.cs integration,will enhance personalized oncology *** study m.rks a significant stride toward precise,efficient,and personalized oncology practices,thus offering hope for im.roved patient outcom.s in the field of HCC treatm.nt.
