Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common primary tumor of the liver and often evolves from regenerating nodules in liver *** there have been significant advances in the treatment of HCC,the overall prognosis in patients with a large tumor burden,vascular invasion,or extrahepatic spread remains poor.1 The magnitude of liver stiffness in cirrhosis has been consistently associated with an increased risk of development of HCC.

Purpose:The relationship between private tutoring(PT)and mainstream education is among the complex themes characterizing PT discourses in the *** study examined the complications of practices and processes in tutoring and schooling to elucidate different roles played by PT and its relationship with mainstream ***/Approach/Methods:This study used qualitative data from a diverse set of 37 PT providers from the State of Maharashtra,India,to delineate their roles and explore their relationship with schooling in this ***:The classification of PT providers roles into complementary,accommodating,competing,and substitutive ones demonstrated a diverse range of relationships between PT and mainstream *** analysis showed that these relationships are dynamic in nature,and the boundaries between them are ***/Value:Research in the field of PT has been consistently pointing toward a perplexing mixture of positive and negative outcomes resulting from its relationship with mainstream *** study transcended the positive vis-a-vis negative binary approach by contributing to the deeper understanding of PT ***,it exemplified how future studies can disentangle the complexities of such relationships by deploying flexible,context-specific theoretical approaches.

Background:Betel nut/areca nut/Areca catechu is one of the most commonly used psychoactive substance,and is also a major preventable cause of *** other psychoactive substances,such as nicotine,the mechanisms underlying addiction to areca nuts and related oncogenesis remain *** reports suggest a possible overlap in the mechanisms of action of nicotine and areca nuts in the human ***,this study aimed to investigate the interactome of human proteins associated with areca nut exposure and the intricate similarities and differences in the effects of the two psychoactive substances on ***:A list of proteins associated with areca nut use was obtained from the available literature using terms from Medical Subject Headings(MeSH).Protein-protein interaction(PPI)networks and functional enrichment were *** results obtained for both psychoactive substances were ***:Given the limited number of common proteins(36/226,16%)in the two sets,a substantial overlap(612/1176 nodes,52%)was observed in the PPI networks,as well as in Gene *** nuts mainly affect signaling pathways through three hub proteins(alpha serine/threonine-protein kinase,tumor protein 53,and interleukin-6),which are common to both psychoactive substances,as well as two unique hub proteins(epidermal growth factor receptor and master regulator of cell cycle entry and proliferative metabolism).Areca nut-related proteins are associated with unique pathways,such as extracellular matrix organization,lipid storage,and metabolism,which are not found in nicotine-associated ***:Areca nuts affect regulatory mechanisms,leading to systemic toxicity and *** nuts also affect unique pathways that can be studied as potential markers of exposure,as well as targets for anticancer therapeutic agents.

Present investigation focuses on the fractional conversion of low volatile weakly caking coal(LVWC)under the standard set of operating conditions for *** this purpose,samples of LVWC of different ash content have been collected from Kusunda Area of Bharat Coking Coal *** results were validated using Homogenous and Shrinking Core kinetic models and the suitability of selected samples for gasification was assessed by estimating the activation *** values of activation energy for LVWC samples were obtained in the range of 25.17-44.09 kJ/***,empirical models were developed to correlate the response of interest with the input variables(temperature,residence time and CO_(2) flow rate).The significance of these developed empirical models was checked using analysis of variance(ANOVA).

Natural habitat ofHippophae salicifolia in Central Himalaya is continuously being degraded due to habitat destruction and harvesting. Although logging is prohibited, habitat destruction has increased because of regular road construction, repairing and broadening activities. In addition, Hippophae resources are continuously being harvested by lopping （both partial and complete） for fuelwood, fodder and fruits in higher Himalayan region. This paper presents a detailed analysis of relationship between density, demographic structure, and harvesting of H. salicifolia growing pockets in the five major valleys （Gangotri, Yamunotri, Niti, Mana and Bhyundhar） of Uttarakhand in Central Himalaya, India. A total of 12o quadrats were laid randomly to study population structure, regeneration, sex ratio and lopping using quadrats of lOO m2 （a4 in each valley） in Hippophae growing patches. Our study shows that the density, size distribution, and regeneration of Hippophae vary considerably among the major valleys. Trees in the Yamunotri valley have the highest density of large trees but the lowest density of seedlings. In contrast, there are few large trees but many seedlings in the Mana valley. The number and size of lopped trees also varied among the valleys. Lopping was greatest in Bhyundhar （11.4%） and Yamunotri （19.7%） and least in Niti （3.9%）. The size of lopped trees differed substantially as well. In Bhyundhar, the largest trees were taken while saplings were taken in Yamunotri. Our study revealed that unsustainable harvesting from plants for fuel, fencing and fruits along with road broadening activities in Central Himalaya are the main cause ofhabitat destruction. Our research highlights the urgent need for in-situ and ex-situ conservation of Hippophae salicifolia so that it＇s potential can be harnessed sustainably by rural hill societies for their socio-economic development.

Lagerstroemia speciosa bark（LB） embedded magnetic nanoparticles were prepared by co-precipitation of Fe2＋ and Fe3＋ salt solution with ammonia and LB for Cr（Ⅵ） removal from aqueous *** native LB,magnetic nanoparticle（MNP）,*** embedded magnetic nanoparticle（MNPLB） and Cr（Ⅵ） adsorbed MNPLB particles were characterized by SEM-EDX,TEM,BET-surface area,FT-IR,XRD and TGA *** analysis confirmed nearly spherical shape of MNP with an average diameter of 8.76 nm and the surface modification did not result in the phase change of MNP as established by XRD analysis,while led to the formation of secondary particles of MNPLB with diameter of 18.54 *** results revealed covalent binding between the hydroxyl group of MNP and carboxyl group of LB particles and further confirmed its physico-chemical nature favorable for Cr（Ⅵ） *** Cr（Ⅵ） adsorption on to MNPLB particle as an adsorbent was tested under different contact time,initial Cr（Ⅵ） concentration,adsorbent dose,initial pH,temperature and agitation *** results of the equilibrium and kinetics of adsorption were well described by Langmuir isotherm and pseudo-second-order model,*** thermodynamic parameters suggest spontaneous and endothermic nature of Cr（Ⅵ）adsorption onto *** maximum adsorption capacity for MNPLB was calculated to be 434.78 mg/g and these particles even after Cr（Ⅵ） adsorption were collected effortlessly from the aqueous solution by a *** desorption of Cr（Ⅵ）-adsorbed MNPLB was found to be more than 93.72%with spent MNPLB depicting eleven successive adsorption-desorption cycles.

The catalytic proficiency of three MONs for AP thermal decomposition was studied in this work.A chemical co-precipitation method was used for synthesis of MONs(CuZnO,CoZnO,and NiZnO)and their characterization carried out by utilizing XRD,FTIR,and *** TGA/DSC technique was employed for the investigation of the catalytic proficiency of MONs on the *** DSC data were used for measuring activation energy of catalyzed AP by using Ozawa,Kissinger,and Starink *** MONs were much sensitive for AP decomposition,and the performance of AP decomposition was further *** all the MONs,the CuZnO exhibits higher catalytic action than others and decomposition temperature of AP is descending around 117℃ by *** reduction in the activation energy was noticed after the incorporation of MONs in AP.
