Petrographical and geochemical signatures of Jurassic rocks of Chari Formation, Western India： implications for provenance and tectonic setting

members The sandstones of the Ridge and Athleta of Chari Formation （Callovian-Oxfordian） exposed at Jara have been analyzed for their petrographical and geochemical studies. Texturally, these sandstones are medium to coarse grained, poorly to well sorted, sub-an- gular to sub-rounded, and show low to medium sphericity. These sandstones were derived from a mixed provenance including granites, granite-gneisses, low and high-grade metamorphic, and some basic rocks of Aravalli range and Nagarparkar massif. The petrofacies analysis reveals that these sandstones belong to the continental block and recycled orogen tectonic regime. The studied sandstones are modified by paleoclimate, distance of transport, and diagenesis. Mineralogically and geochemically, sandstones are classified as quartzarenite, subarkose, arkose, sublithic arenite, and wacke, respectively. The A-CN-K ternary plot and CIA, CIW, PIA, and ICV values suggest that the similar source rocks suffered moderate to high chemical weathering under a hot-humid climate in an acidic envi- ronment with higher Pco2. Generally good to strong cor- relations between AI2O3 and other oxides in these sediments indicate clay mineral control. The K2O/Na2O versus SiO2 diagram indicates that the studied samples occupy passive margin fields but the SiO2/A12O3 versus K2O/Na20 plot suggests that the Athleta Sandstone and Ridge Sandstone fall within the passive margin field, while Ridge Shale falls within the active continental margin field.

This paper determines the risk for cardiovascular diseases(CVDs).and nutrition level in infants aged 06 montlis using Fuzzy Cognitive Maps(FCMs).The aim of this study is to facilitates the medical experts to early detects these diseases with accuracy,so that overall death ratio can be ***,we have introduced the concepts of FCMs and briefly refer to the applications of these methods in *** that,two intel ligent decision support systems for cardiovascular and malnutrition are developed using *** proposed cardiovascular risk assessment system takes six inputs:chest pain,cholesterol,heart rate,blood pressure,blood sugar,and old peak and determines CVDs *** second decision support system of malnutrition diagnosis takes twelve inputs:breastfeeding,daily income,maternal education,colostrum intake,energy intake,protein intake,vitamin A intake,iron intake,family size,height,weight,head circumference,and skin fold thickness and diagnoses the nutrition level in *** have explained the working of both decision support systems using case studies.

Diagnostic methods and risk analysis based on fuzzy soft information

In our daily life problem we face uncertainties in making right decisions. In this study, we propose two different decision-making problems in medical field. The first problem is fever diagnosing and second problem is mouth cancer risk analysis. In the first problem, we use fuzzy soft similarity measures and fuzzy soft matrix operations to diagnose the type of fever. We consider a hypothetical case study and manipulate similarity measures on it. Our work diagnoses different patients having similar symptoms. We also develop a small application using JAVA. In the second problem, we perform risk analysis of mouth cancer. The proposed fuzzy soft expert system takes two biochemical parameters as inputs that is, serum total malondialdehyde (MDA), and serum proton donors capacity (donors_protons) and determines the risk of mouth cancer. Our study facilitates doctors by diagnosing mouth cancer at its earlier stages. There are four main components of our fuzzy soft expert system. The first component is named as fuzzification which converts crisp input into linguistic variables and formulates fuzzy sets. The second component transforms fuzzy sets into their respective fuzzy soft sets. The third coinponent determines indispensable parameters and perforins parameter reduction. The fourth component performs risk analysis by using algorithm. We use exemplary dataset and run all the components of fuzzy soft expert system to compute cancer risk.

Instability of Thermally Conducting Self-Gravitating Systems

The gravitational instability of a thermally conducting self-gravitating system permeated by a uniform and oblique magnetic field has been analyzed in the framework of Tsallis’ nonextensive theory for possible mod-ifications in the Jeans’ instability criterion. It is concluded that the instability criterion is indeed modified into one that depends explicitly on the nonextensive parameter. The influence of thermal conductivity on the system stability is also examined.

Synthesis and Structural Investigations of New 4-Hexyl-1-(4-nitrophenyl)-1-H-1,2,3-triazole:An Experimental and Theoretical Insight

The title compound, 4-hexyl-1-（4-nitrophenyl）-1-H-1,2,3-triazole （CI4HIsN402）, was synthesized using one-pot strategy via click reaction and the structure was characterized mainly by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, NMR, FT-IR and MS. C14H18N4O2 was crystallized from an EtOH/EtOAc solution in triclinic system, space group PI, with a = 5.3679（3）, b = 7.5499（5）, c = 17.5534（11） A, a = 92.360（4）, β = 90.359（4）, γ = 98.864（4）°, V （A3） = 702.24（8）, Z = 2, crystal size （mm） = 0.42 × 0.26 × 0.18, Rint = 0.096. Packing diagram indicates that there is dimeric interaction between two units via N（3）...H（6）. The crystal structure of the title compound （1） is stabifized by intermolecular interactions. In addition, X-ray analys!s also reveals C-H…π and π-π interactions in the molecule. Theoretical investigations were performed by using Gaussian 09 software at the B3LYP/6, 31G （d,p）level of density,finctional theory （DFT）.to compare the theoretical results with the experimental and to probe structural properties. The molecular electrostatic potential （MEP） mapped over the entire stabilized geometry of the molecule indicated their chemical reactivities. Furthermore, frontier molecular orbital （electronic properties） was computed at the same level of DFT as used. forenergy minima structure.

According to the World Health Organization(WHO),cancer is the leading cause of death for children in low and middle-income *** 400,000 kids get diagnosed with this illness each year,and their survival rate depends on the country in which they *** this article,we present a Pythagorean fuzzy model that may help doctors identify the most likely type of cancer in children at an early stage by taking into account the symptoms of different types of *** Pythagorean fuzzy decision-making techniques that we utilize are Pythagorean Fuzzy TOPSIS,Pythagorean Fuzzy Entropy(PF-Entropy),and Pythagorean Fuzzy PowerWeighted Geometric(PFPWG).Ourmodel is fed with nineteen symptoms and it diagnoses the risk of eight types of cancers in *** develop an algorithm for each method and calculate its ***,we consider an example to make a clear understanding of our *** also compare the final results of various tests that prove the authenticity of this study.

Analysis of diabetic foot ulcers in a tertiary care hospital-a clinico-microbiological perspective

Objective:To assess potential risk factors for diabetic foot ulcers infected with multidrug-resistant-organisms(MDROs)and to investigate antibiotic susceptibility patterns and extended-spectrum-β-lactamase(ESBL)-production in bacteria isolated from these ***:Seventy-seven diabetic foot ulcer-patients were studied in a consecutive ***-four study factors were recorded for each *** were obtained by scraping the ulcer base or the deep portion of the wound edge with a sterile *** soft tissue specimens were quickly sent to the laboratory and processed for microbial ***-negative bacterial isolates were tested for ESBL production by double-disc-diffusion *** association of study variables with MDRO and non-MDRO infection status of ulcers was tested by Student's t test or Fisher's exact test using SPSS(version 11.5,Chicago).Results:An alarming number of patients were MDRO-positive(72.7%).ESBL-positive strains constituted 19.8% of total *** isolates identified as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)and vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(VRSA),were 3.7%(n=8)and 0.5%(n=1)***-two study factors were found to be significantly associated with MDRO infection status of ulcers in the univariate *** logistic regressions proved that MDRO status was the only significant,independent predictor of glycemic control(Odds ratio = 4.22,P<0.01).Conclusion:It is concluded that MDRO infected patients have poor glycemic *** and linezolid can be suggested as the drugs of choice in the described setting.
