The present paper aims to develop the Kuhn-Tucker and Fritz John criteria for saddle point optimality of interval-valued nonlinear programming *** achieve the study objective,we have proposed the definition of minimizer and maximizer of an interval-valued non-linear programming ***,we have introduced the interval-valued Fritz-John and Kuhn Tucker saddle point *** that,we have established both the necessary and sufficient optimality conditions of an interval-valued non-linear minimization ***,we have shown that both the saddle point conditions(Fritz-John and Kuhn-Tucker)are sufficient without any convexity *** with the convexity requirements,we have established that these saddle point optimality criteria are the necessary conditions for optimality of an interval-valued non-linear programming with real-valued ***,all the results are derived with the help of interval order ***,we illustrate all the results with the help of a numerical example.

Understanding scale-up effects on the hydrodynamics of a liquid-solid circulating fluidized bed(LSCFB)unit requires both experimental and theoretical *** implement multigene genetic programming(MGGP)to investigate the solid holdup and distribution in three LSCFB systems with different *** addition to data obtained here,we also use a portion of data sets of LSCFB systems developed by Zheng(1999)and Liang et al.(1996).Model predictions are in good agreement with the experimental data in both radial and axial directions and at different normalized superficial liquid and solid *** radial profiles of the solid holdup are approximately identical at a fixed average cross-sectional solid holdup for the three LSCFB systems *** performance indicators including the mean absolute percentage error(6.19%)and correlation coefficient(0.985)are within an acceptable *** results suggest that a MGGP modeling approach is suitable for predicting the solid holdup and distribution of a scaled-up LSCFB system.

Spices are generally consumed because of their medicinal properties, taste, and add flavor to food. Objectives: To determine the nutrient contents and heavy metals of five commonly consumed spices, namely turmeric (Curcuma longa), bay leaf (Laurus nobilis), red chili (Capsicum annuum), coriander (Coriander sativum), and black cumin (Nigella sativa) were collected from the local market of Northern zone, Bangladesh and were analyzed. Methods: Nutrient composition was assessed by proximate analysis, trace and heavy metals by atomic absorption spectrophotometry while the indophenol method was used to determine vitamin C. Result: The results revealed that spices are good sources of carbohydrate, fiber, and fat. The highest levels of carbohydrates, dietary fiber, protein, and fat were observed in turmeric (71.1%), black cumin (40.0%), red chili (16.77%), and coriander (17.8%) respectively. Vitamin C was present in trace amounts ranging from 0.04 to 0.1 mg/100g, except black cumin (35.0 mg/100g). Essential trace minerals like sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and iron were significantly present in black cumin and bay leaf. Most of the heavy metal levels in the spices were appreciable amounts i.e. much lesser than the statutory safe limit approved by WHO and FAO for some of the samples. Conclusion: The current study concluded that the investigated spices are nutritionally rich, and heavy metal levels in the examined samples are safe for human consumption.

Objective:To evaluate the anticancer activity of vanillin semicarbazone(VSC) against Ehrlich ascites carcinoma(EAC) cells in Swiss albino ***:The compound VSC at three doses(5, 7.5 and 10 mg/kg i.p.) was administered into the intraperitoneal cavity of the EAC inoculated mice to observe its efficiency by studying the cell growth inhibition, reduction of tumour weight,enhancement of survival time as well as the changes in depleted hematological parameters. Allsuch parameters were also studied with a known standard drug bleomycin at the dose of 0.3 mg/kg(i.p.).Results:Among the doses studied, 10 mg/kg(i.p.) was found to be quite comparable in potency to that of bleomycin at the dose of 0.3 mg/kg(i.p.). The host toxic effects of VSC was found to be ***:It can be concluded that VSC can therefore be considered as potent anticancer agent.

The concept of community resilience in the contexts of climate change and disasters draws increasing attention and interest from practitioners and researchers in recent development discourse. This paper provides a critical review of six selected frameworks of community resilience building operationalized in Bangladesh over the span of years. In other words, this study aims to contribute to the understanding of resilience through a systematic analysis of the dimensions and indicators of community resilience frameworks. The analysis shows that comprehensive and effective community resilience frameworks should incorporate the missing components linked to fundamental elements of good governance, economic growth, environmental sustainability, social transformation, and capacity development. The paper concludes by highlighting a few other areas of grave concern that need more appropriate attention, considering the severe threats posed by climate change and natural disasters in line with sustainable development goals. Finally, this study recommends further research regarding the effectiveness of these frameworks in different climatic and disaster contexts that can lead the concept into a new dimension of community resilience and sustainability.

AIM:To compare the use of vildagliptin and sulfonylurea with or without metformin in Indian Muslim patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,fasting during ***:This was a 4-wk,multicenter,non-interventional,open-label,observational *** of hypoglycemic events(HEs),adverse events,and changes in glycosylated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c),fasting plasma glucose,postprandial plasma glucose and body weight were measured pre-and ***:Totally,97 patients were recruited and all completed the study(vildagliptin group,n=55;sulfonylurea group,n=42).HEs were reported in low frequencies in both the vildagliptin and the sulfonylurea groups[0 vs 2(4.8%)patients,respectively].Interestingly,HbA1c reduced by-0.43%(-4.71 mmol/mol)in the vildagliptin group[8.75%(72.10 mmol/mol)to8.32%(67.38 mmol/mol),P=0.009]while in the sulfonylurea group there was a small increase by 0.01%[0.08 mmol/mol;8.64%(70.92 mmol/mol)to 8.65%(71.00 mmol/mol),P=0.958].Higher percentage of vildagliptin-treated patients achieved HbA1c<7.0%(<53 mmol/mol)compared with sulfonylurea(16.4%vs4.8%).Mean decrease in the body weight was 1.2 kg and 0.03 kg,respectively(P<0.001).Both treatment groups were well tolerated during ***:Vildagliptin is an attractive treatment option for Indian patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are fasting during Ramadan.

任何人都不能忽视词汇在语言学习中,尤其是在语言交际时,所发挥的作用。词汇在语言的组成部分中的确是非常重要的一部分。Sweet 1899（引自Batia和Nation,1993:163）谈到“学习外语最根本的困难在于必须要掌握它的词汇。”Zimmerman（1997）指出:“词汇对于语言和把英语作为外语的学习者来说是极其重要的。”Wilkins（1972）强调:“如果没有语法,只能转递很少的信息;但没有词汇,那么什么也不能传递。”明白了这一点,我选择调查阿富汗英语外语学习者关于词汇学习的信念以及学习策略的运用。已经有很多对词汇学习和习得不同方面的研究,包括EFL和ESL学生采用的最多或最少的词汇学习策略,男性和女性之间的差异,成功学习者和不太成功学习者之间的差异,以及在语境内和语境外的词汇学习等。但是,在国内这将是第一次调查关于阿富汗英语学习者词汇策略的研究。此项研究将选取177名来自谢赫·扎耶德大学的英语专业的学生作为被试。问卷包含了四个内容:信念,元认知策略,认知策略和社会情感策略。本研究选取学期末考核GPA和词汇量测试作为研究效度的工具。此项研究的目的是找寻这些学习者是如何学习英语词汇的以及去提高词汇学习的意识和策略,并基于研究的结果,给出相应的教学启示以及未来的研究建议。本研究将采用独立样本T检验来发现男性和女性,成功学习者和不太成功学习者之间的差异,并且将使用埃塔方差来测算差异的值。本研究将主要涉及如下问题:（1）在扎耶德大学,学习者关于词汇学习的信念是什么?（2）在扎耶德大学,英语外语学习者使用最多和最少的策略分别是什么?（3）男性和女性是否使用了相同或不同的策略?（4）在成功学习者和不太成功学习者之间,使用词汇学习策略时数据上是否存在显著差异?在研究中,发现学生主要相信单词应该通过使用来学习。学习者通常报告他们所采用的认知策略最高;在认知策略中:语境猜测、字典策略、笔记和使用词结构是最可取的策略,使用最少的策略是激活。其次使用最多的是情感策略。根据研究结果,可以推断学习者善于控制积极情绪和消极情绪。元认知被排在第三位,在有选择性的调节学习中发挥着积极作用。在男性和女性的比较中,发现两组之间存在显著差异。根据研究结果,可以推断男性学习者比女性更善于利用学习策略,这与大多数认为女性学习者更善于使用学习策略的研究结果相矛盾。我的研究结果背后的原因可能是文化上的限制、公共安全等因素。与不太成功的学习者,成功的学习者更善于使用三种策略:元认知、认知和情感。

Lassa hemorrhagic fever,caused by Lassa mammarenavirus(LASV)infection,accumulates up to 5000 deaths every ***,there is no vaccine available to combat this *** this study,a library of 200 bioactive compounds was virtually screened to study their drug-likeness with the capacity to block theα-dystroglycan(α-DG)receptor and prevent LASV *** rigorous absorption,distribution,metabolism,and excretion(ADME)and quantitative structure-activity relationship(QSAR)profiling,molecular docking was conducted with the top ligands against theα-DG *** compounds chrysin,reticuline,and 3-caffeoylshikimic acid emerged as the top three ligands in terms of binding ***-docking analysis revealed that interactions with Arg76,Asn224,Ser259,and Lys302 amino acid residues of the receptor protein were important for the optimum binding affinity of *** dynamics simulation was performed comprehensively to study the stability of the protein-ligand ***-depth assessment of root-mean-square deviation(RMSD),root mean square fluctuation(RMSF),polar surface area(PSA),B-Factor,radius of gyration(Rg),solvent accessible surface area(SASA),and molecular surface area(MolSA)values of the protein-ligand complexes affirmed that the candidates with the best binding affinity formed the most stable protein-ligand *** authenticate the potentialities of the ligands as target-specific drugs,an in vivo study is underway in real time as the continuation of the research.

Drought is one of the critical limitations to agricultural soils and crop *** of water is increasing due to climate change that lead to increasing threats to global food ***,ecofriendly and cost effective strategies are highly desirable for mitigating drought stress along with sustainable and smart agricultural *** aim of the study was to mitigate DS using seed priming and exogenous supplementation ofβ-aminobutyric acid(BABA)in linseed(Linum usitatissimum L.).Different doses(0,50,100 and 150μM)of BABA were used for seed priming agent and foliar spraying under three soil moisture levels viz.,25%(SM25),45%(SM45)and 65%(SM65).The response variables of both experiments included different agro-botanical traits and oxidative stress indicators such as melondialdehyde content,free proline accumulation,and antioxidant defense in *** linseed plants showed water stress at SM25 that reduced plant height,number of branches per plant,time taken to flower initiation and heading,and root and shoot dry ***,the number of capsules and seeds per capsule showed a significant decline at SM25,which led to a drastic reduction in 100-seed weight yield in linseed plants in both ***,seed priming and foliar supplementation with of BABA(50–100μM)significantly improved these morpho-agronomical attributes in linseed plants under *** results revealed that the BABA was fully active in linseed plants at ***,the combination of SM25 with BABA significantly improved the antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),ascorbate peroxidase(APX),and peroxidase(POD)activity,which significantly enhanced DS tolerance in linseed *** findings might be useful to oil seed breeders and farmers linseed for breeding program in linseed plants as well as sustainable agricultural production of oil seed crop plants.
