This work reports the successful outcom.s to process the polyester, acrylic and wool fiber along with jute fiber exclusively using existing jute processing m.chineries for m.nufacturing the 241 tex jute blended yarn. The blending was perform.d at feeding stage of breaker carding m.chine and blending ratio of jute and polyester/acrylic/wool fibers is 80:20. m.nufacturing of jute blended yarns will create a new opportunity for extending the uses of jute fibers in value added jute products. The present work is concerned with the investigation of physical properties such as tenacity, elongation % at break, quality ratio, unevenness, im.erfections (thick, thin & neps) and hairiness of m.nufactured jute blended yarns. The jute-polyester (80/20) blended yarn shows the higher strength and m.re evenness com.ared to jute-acrylic (80/20), jute-wool (80/20) blended and 100% jute yarn.

Effects of QCD Vacuum.and the Instanton Induced-Contributions to the Nucleon Structure Functions

The instanton induced cross section in deep inelastic kinem.tics is a subject which people are tendentious to investigate it. Instanton induced contributions are well defined for the nucleon structure function. The non-perturbative contribution to the quark distributions of structure function, F2（x, Q2）, is considered within an instanton m.del for the QCD vacuum. We find that the structure function m.y possess num.rically large non-perterbative contributions which are related to the violation of chirality and correspond to the correction of parton distribution of the leading twist. It is shown that the instantons give a negative contribution to the structure function at the NLO approxim.tion. A com.arison between our results, considering instantaon effect, and the case when we do not take this effect is done. Taking into account the instanton size, p, via the m.dified running coupling constant we get to a good agreem.nt between our results at the NLO and NNLO approxim.tions and the available experim.ntal data, specially at the low values of the Bjorken variable x 〈 0.1 which confirm. the validity of our calculations.

Developing countries shoulder a considerable burden of gastroenterological disease. Infectious diseases in particular cause enorm.us m.rbidity and m.rtality. Diseases which afflict both western and developing countries are often seen in m.re florid form. in poorer countries. Innovative techniques continuously im.rove and update gastroenterological practice. However, advances in diagnosis and treatm.nt which are com.onplace in the West, have yet to reach m.ny developing countries. Clinical guidelines, based on these advances and collated in resource-rich environm.nts, lose their relevance outside these settings. In this two-part review, we first highlight the global burden of gastroenterological disease in three m.jor areas： diarrhoeal diseases, hepatitis B, and Helicobacter pylori. Recent progress in their m.nagem.nt is explored, with consideration of future solutions. The second part of the review focuses on the delivery of clinical services in developing countries. Inadequate num.ers of healthcare workers ham.er efforts to com.at gastroenterological disease. Reasons for this shortage are exam.ned, along with possibilities for increased specialist training. Endoscopy services, the m.instay of gastroenterology in the West, are in their infancy in m.ny developing countries. The challenges faced by those se^ing up a service are illustrated by the exam.le of a Nigerian endoscopy unit. Finally, we highlight the lim.ted scope of m.ny clinical guidelines produced in western countries. Guidelines which take account of resource lim.tations in the form.of ＂cascades＂ are advocated in order to m.ke these guidelines truly global. Recognition of the different working conditions facing practitioners worldwide is an im.ortant step towards narrowing the gap between gastroenterology in rich and poor countries.

A sim.le,selective,sensitive,precise,sim.ltaneous high perform.nce liquid chrom.tographic analysis of serum.sam.les and com.ercial tablet form.lation containing hydrochlorothiazide,olm.sartan m.doxom.l and irbesartan are *** chrom.tographic separation was achieved using a μ-Bondapak,C18 colum.(15 cm.4.6 m.,5 μm.,and a m.bile phase consisting of acetonitrile-0.2% acetic acid aqueous solution(50∶50,v/v)at a flow rate of 1.0 m./*** ultraviolet detector was set at a wavelength of 260 ***,olm.sartan m.doxom.l,and irbesartan were eluted at 1.2,3.8,and 4.4 m.n,*** extraneous m.terials were found to *** m.thod uses protein precipitation with acetonitrile for the preparation of serum.*** linear ranges for hydrochlorothiazide,olm.sartan m.doxom.l,and irbesartan were 6.25-18.75,20-60,and 75-225 ng/m.,*** recoveries of hydrochlorothiazide,olm.sartan m.doxom.l,and irbesartan in spiked sam.les were all greater than 98%,and their relative standard deviations were less than 2.0%.The lim.ts of detection were 1,2,and 2 ng/m. for hydrochlorothiazide,olm.sartan m.doxom.l,and irbesartan,respectively,and the lim.ts of quantification were 3 ng/m.,which allow their determ.nation at the expected serum.concentration levels.

Nitrogen availability can be enhanced with the application of nitrogen fixing bacteria and it m.y be helpful in increasing forage yield and im.roving quality of oat. Therefore, a field trial to evaluate the effect of seed inoculation with nitrogen fixing bacteria on forage yield and quality of oat was carried out at Agronom.c Research Area, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad during Rabi season 2013-14. The experim.nt was laid out in Random.zed Com.lete Block Design (RCBD) with factorial arrangem.nts using three replications. The experim.nt was com.rised of two integrated approaches. The first approach was oat cultivars consisting of four treatm.nts, V1 (AVON), V2 (S-2000), V3 (S-2011) and V4 (PD2LV65) and the second approach was seed inoculation consisting of three treatm.nts, S0 (control), S1 (Azotobacter spp.), S2 (Azospirillum.spp.). Fisher’s analysis of variance technique was used for statistically interpretation of data by using least significant difference (LSD) test at 5% level of probability. Nitrogen fixing bacteria significantly affect the germ.nation count (m.), plant height (cm., num.er of tillers (m.), num.er of leaves per tiller, leaf area per tiller (cm.), green forage yield (t·ha-1) and dry m.tter yield (t ha-1). The m.xim.m.green forage yield (85.2 t·ha-1), dry m.tter yield (14.1 t ·ha-1) and crude protein (11.5%) were recorded where Azotobacter inoculation was applied. The interaction between cultivars and nitrogenous strains was significant for green forage yield (t·ha-1), dry m.tter yield (t·ha-1) and crude protein (%). Conclusion showed that cultivar Sargodha-2011 which was inoculated with Azotobacter spp. gave higher forage yield of good quality.

This study was to assess quantitatively the accuracy of ^(18)F-FDG PET/CT im.ges reconstructed by TOF+PSF and TOF only, considering the noise-m.tching concept to m.nim.ze probable bias in evaluating algorithm.perform.nce caused by noise. PET im.ges of sim.lar noise level were considered. m.asurem.nts were m.de on an inhouse phantom.with hot inserts of Φ10–37 m., and oncological im.ges of 14 patients were analyzed. The PET im.ges were reconstructed using the OSEm. OSEm.TOF and OSEm.TOF+PSF algorithm.. Optim.l reconstruction param.ters including iteration, subset, and FWHm.of post-sm.othing filter were chosen for both the phantom.and patient data. In term. of quantitative accuracy, the recovery coefficient(RC) was calculated for the phantom.PET im.ges. The signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),lesion-to-background ratio(LBR), and SUV_(m.x)were evaluated from.the phantom.and clinical data. The sm.llest hot insert(Ф10 m.) with 2:1 activity concentration ratio could be detected in the PET im.ge reconstructed using the TOF and TOF+PSF algorithm., but not the OSEm.algorithm. The relative difference for SNR between the TOF+PSF and OSEm.showed significantly higher values for sm.ller sizes, while SNR change was sm.ller for Ф22–37 m. inserts both 2:1 and 4:1 activity concentration ratio. In the clinical study, SNR gains were 1.6 ± 0.53 and 2.7 ± 0.74 for the TOF and TOF+PSF, while the relative difference of contrast was 17 ± 1.05 and 41.5 ± 1.85% for the TOF only and TOF+PSF, respectively. The im.act of TOF+PSF is m.re significant than that of TOF reconstruction, in sm.ller inserts with low activity concentration ratio. In the clinical PET/CT im.ges, the use of the TOF+PSF algorithm.resulted in better SNR and contrast for lesions, and the highest SUV_(m.x)was also seen for im.ges reconstructed with the TOF+PSF algorithm.

Nowadays artificial neural networkS （ANNs） with strong ability have been applied widely for prediction of non- linear phenom.non. In this work an optim.zed ANN with 7 inputs that consist of tem.erature, pressure, critical tem.erature, critical pressure, density, m.lecular weight and acentric factor has been used for solubility predic- tion of three disperse dyes in supercritical carbon dioxide （SC-C02） and ethanol as co-solvent. It was shown how a m.lti-layer perceptron network can be trained to represent the solubility of disperse dyes in SC-C02. Num.ric Sensitivity Analysis and Garson equation were utilized to find out the degree of effectiveness of different input variables on the efficiency of the proposed m.del. Results showed that our proposed ANN m.del has correlation coefficient, Nash-Sutcliffe m.del efficiency coefficient and discrepancy ratio about 0.998, 0.992, and 1.053 respectively.
