It is highly desired to develop efficient photocatalysts with recycling property for practical application to degrade toxic ***,nanosheet-assembled NiFe_(2)O_(4)microspheres with commendable activity are successfully synthesized by a facile solvothermal reaction with NH4F as the modifier,and their photoactivities are further improved by coupling with NiO through an in situ growth *** optimized nickel oxide(NiO)/nickel ferrite(NiFe_(2)O_(4))microsphere composite(5NiO/NFO-4)exhibits a satisfactory photocatalytic activity for 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP)degradation under visible-light irradiation,which is attributed to its wide visible-light response,well-designed hierarchical structure and enhanced charge transfer and separation by coupling NiO as a high-level energy platform to accept ***,it is found that the NiO/NiFe_(2)O_(4)microsphere photocatalysts can be easily collected and recycled owing to the distinctive magnetic *** work provides a feasible route to rational design visible-light-driven photocatalysts with high-activity for environmental remediation and purification with good recyclability.

The present work documented two snapper species, Lutjanus fulvus Forster, 1801 and Lutjanus erythropterus Bloch, 1790, recently collected from the Saint martin's Island, Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh, during a survey on coral associated fishes of Bangladesh from July 2017 to September 2018. These two species were identified with morphological characteristics and by analyzing partial mitochondrial COI sequences. The document also included an updated checklist of snappers available in Bangladesh.

Superhydrophobic aluminum surfaces have been prepared by means of electrodeposition of copper on aluminum surfaces, followed by electrochemical modification using stearic acid organic molecules. Scanning electron microscopy(SEm) images show that the electrodeposited copper films follow "island growth mode" in the form of microdots and their number densities increase with the rise of the negative deposition potentials. At an electrodeposition potential of-0.2 V the number density of the copper microdots are found to be 4.5×104cm^(-2)that are increased to 2.9×105cm^(-2)at a potential of-0.8 V. Systematically, the distances between the microdots are found to be reduced from 26.6 μm to 11.03 μm with the increase of negative electrochemical potential from-0.2 V to-0.8 V. X-ray diffraction(XRD) analyses have confirmed the formation of copper stearate on the stearic acid modified copper films. The roughness of the stearic acid modified electrodeposited copper films is found to increase with the increase in the density of the copper microdots. A critical copper deposition potential of-0.6 V in conjunction with the stearic acid modification provides a surface roughness of 6.2 μm with a water contact angle of 157?, resulting in superhydrophobic properties on the aluminum substrates.

Sixteen pongamia families were evaluated in a field experiment for eight consecutive years in dryland conditions to identify stable,high-yielding *** trial was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three *** family,consisting of nine trees per replication,was planted at a spacing of3 m x 3 *** stability was analyzed using(1)Eberhart and Russel’s regression coefficient(β_i)and deviation from regression(S_d^2),(2)Wrike’s ecovalence(W_i);(3)Shukla stability variance(σ_i^2);and(4)Piepho and Lotito’s stability index(L_i).Families were also analyzed for adaptability and stability using AmmI and GGE biplots graphical *** study revealed significant variances due to family and family x year interaction for pod and seed *** performed differently and ranked differently across *** performance of families was influenced by both genetic factor and environmental conditions in different *** families tested,TNmP20,Acc14,TNmP14 and Acc30 were high yielders for pods,and Acc14,Acc30,TNmP6,RAK19 and TNmP14 were high for seed *** to the Eberhart and Russell model,Acc30,TNmP14 and TNmP3 were stable across *** the graphical view of family x year interaction based on AmmI methods,TNmP3,TNmP4 and TNmP14 had greater stability with moderate seed yield,and Acc14 and Acc30 had moderate stability with high seed *** the other hand,GGE biplots revealed Acc14,Acc30 and TNmP14 as high yielders with moderate *** and GGE biplots were able to capture nonlinear parts of the family x year interaction that were not be captured by the Eberhart and Russel model while also identifying stable *** on different methodologies,Acc14,Acc30 and TNmP14 were identified as high yielding and stable families for promoting pongamia cultivation as a biofuel crop for semi-arid regions.

The vast majority of prior studies on droplet impact have focused on collisions of liquid droplets with spatially homogeneous(i.e.,uniform-wettability)*** in recent years,there has been growing interest on droplet impact on nonuniform wettability surfaces,which are more relevant in *** paper presents first an experimental study of axisymmetric droplet impact on wettability-patterned *** experiments feature millimeter-sized water droplets impacting centrally with Wemain is less wettable than the inner one).Depending upon the droplet momentum at impact,the experiments reveal the existence of three possible regimes of axisymmetric spreading,namely(I)interior(only within Area 1)spreading,(II)contact-line entrapment at the periphery of Area 1,and(III)exterior(extending into Area 2)*** present an analysis based on energetic principles forθ_(1)θ_(2)(i.e.,the outer domain is more wettable than the inner one).The experimental observations are consistent with the scaling and predictions of the analytical model,thus outlining a strategy for predicting droplet impact behavior for more complex wettability patterns.

We report the synthesis of Nd-filled and Fe substituted p-type Ndx Fe（3.2）Co（0.8）Fe（3.2）Co（0.8）Sb（12）（x=0.5,0.6,0.7,0.8,and 0.9）skutterudites by the solid-state reaction *** influences of Nd filler on the electrical and thermal transport prop-erties are investigated in a temperature range from room temperature to 850 K.A lowest lattice thermal conductivity of 0.88 W·m^-1·K^-1 is obtained in Nd0.8Fe（3.2）Co（0.8）Fe（3.2）Co（0.8）Sb（12）at 673 K,which results from the localized vibration modes of fillers and the increase of grains ***,the maximum power factor is 2.77 m W·m^-1·K^-2 for the Nd（0.9）Fe（3.2）Co（0.8）Fe（3.2）Co（0.8）Sb（12）sample at 668 ***,the highest dimensionless figure of merit z T=0.87 is achieved at 714 Kfor Nd（0.9）Fe（3.2）Co（0.8）Fe（3.2）Co（0.8）Sb（12）.

The porous ceramics based on Al2O3-TiO2/ZrO2-SiO2 from particle-stabilized wet foam by direct foaming were *** initial Al2O3-TiO2 suspension was prepared by adding TiO2 suspension to partially hydrophobized colloidal Al2O3 suspension with equimolar amount,to form Al2TiO5 on *** secondary ZrO2-SiO2 suspension was prepared using the equimolar composition,and to obtain ZrSiO4,ZrTiO4,and mullite phases in the sintered samples,the secondary suspension was blended into the initial suspension at 0,10,20,30,and 50 vol％.The wet foam exhibited an air content up to 87％,Laplace pressure from 1.38 to 2.23 mPa,and higher adsorption free energy at the interface of approximately 5.8×108 to 7.5×108J resulting an outstanding foam stability of 87％.The final suspension was foamed,and the wet foam was sintered from 1400 to 1600 ℃ for 1 *** porous ceramics with pore size from 150 to 400 μm on average were *** phase identification was accomplished using X-ray diffraction (XRD),differential thermal analysis (DTA),and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA),and microstructural analysis was performed using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEm).
