Acoustic signals travels rapidly in water without attenuating fish *** digital sonar and passive acoustic has been used for fish monitoring and fish ***,it is an urgent need to introduce new techniques in order to monitor the growth rate of fish during harvesting and without causing adverse effects to the harvested ***,a novel technique was introduced to probe the acoustic signal frequency ratio in absence and presence of the fish in tanks,which basically uses an acoustic sensor(hydrophone),acoustic signal processing system(scope meter),and a signal monitoring system(fluke view).Acoustic signals were selected from 48-52 Hz frequency,measure of dispersion of frequency signal represented as a function of time via Xlstat *** of dispersion displayed a significant effect of acoustic signal in the presence and absence of the fish in *** optimised protocols of this study will help to control and prevent excessive wastage of feed and enhance proper utilization of feed that chiefly enhance fish growth in aquaculture.

Multi-phase flow effect generated from the combustion of aluminum based composite propellant was performed on the thermal protection material of solid rocket motor(SRM) *** of alumina(Al2O3) particles from 5% to 10% was tried on SRM nozzle flow field to see the influence of multiphase flow on heat transfer computations.A coupled,time resolved CFD(computational fluid dynamics) approach was adopted to solve the conjugate problem of multi-phase fluid flow and heat transfer in the solid rocket motor *** governing equations are discretized by using the finite volume ***-Allmaras(S-A) turbulence model was *** computation was executed on the different models selected for the analysis to validate the temperature variation in the throat inserts and baking material of SRM *** for temperatures variations were also carried out at different expansion ratios of *** paper also characterized the advanced SRM nozzle composites material for their high thermo stability and their high thermo mechanical capabilities to make it more reliable simpler and lighter.

The concept of neutrosophic statistics is applied to propose two monitoring schemes which are an improvement of the neutrosophic exponentially weighted moving average(NEWMA)*** this study,two control charts are designed under the uncertain environment or neutrosophic statistical interval system,when all observations are undermined,imprecise or *** are termed neutrosophic double and triple exponentially weighted moving average(NDEWMA and NTEWMA)control *** the proficiency of the proposed chart,Monte Carlo simulations are used to calculate the run-length characteristics(such as average run length(ARL),standard deviation of the run length(SDRL),percentiles(P_(25),P_(50),P_(75)))of the proposed *** structures of the proposed control charts are more effective in detecting small shifts while these are comparable with the other existing charts in detecting moderate and large *** simulation study and real-life implementations of the proposed charts show that the proposed NDEWMA and NTEWMA charts perform better in monitoring the process of road traffic crashes and electric engineering data as compared to the existing control ***,the proposed charts will be helpful in minimizing the road accident and minimizing the defective ***,the proposed charts are more acceptable and actual to apply in uncertain environment.

In Kuwait air-conditioning systems consume approximately 70%of the grid energy during the long summer *** this paper,various practical approaches are investigated to enhance the energy efficiency and decrease the energy consumption of five existing air-conditioned(AC)buildings in Kuwait *** process of energy management in air-conditioned buildings in Kuwait is overwhelming due to high energy consumption in the building *** study proposed an optimization technique for the proper energy management of installed AC systems to target energy-efficient *** this study the aim is to explore the effect of different operating parameters,both theoretically and experimentally,and to contribute to the reduction of AC energy ***,the relationship between the thermal load in the air-conditioned buildings and the actual electrical energy consumption is determined,and remedial measures,along with different recom-mendations for energy saving,are *** actual thermal loads of each selected building were calculated and compared with the installed cooling capacity of the AC *** the results obtained it was concluded that,by implement-ing the suggested remedial measures,the predicted load in the selected buildings could be decreased significantly from the existing installed capacity of the cooling *** of the remedial measures suggested for energy management lead to a reduction in power consumption and increased energy efficiency at different levels based on the specifications of the buildings considered and the AC systems installed,resulting in improved in economy,a reduced carbon footprint,and a cleaner environment.

CVaR-based Reserve Optimization for Isolated Multi-energy Complementary Generation Systems in Mixed Time Scale

With the rapid growth of photovoltaic integration,the volatility and uncertainty of intermittent photovoltaic injection will dramatically reduce system operation reliability from the generation *** system operator may face certain financial risks brought by unexpected power failure under low operation ***,maintaining sufficient power reserve to meet system operation reliability and reduce risk,especially in an isolated system,is ***,the traditional reserve preparation strategy fails to consider the uncertainties of the power generation under the high penetration levels of emerging renewable energy resources.A novel reserve preparation strategy for an isolated system is developed in this paper using a twostage *** the first stage,the optimal hourly scheduling of an isolated system is *** the second stage,a minute level conditional value-at-risk(CVaR)based model is established where the uncertainty of the reserve requirement is introduced with the chance *** proposed discretized step transformation(DST)and subtraction type convolution(STC)methods are utilized to convert the model into mixedinteger linear programming,and finally solved by applying the CPLEX *** IEEE 39-bus system is used as the test case to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed two-stage model.
