Cytotoxicity of oleanane type triterpene from leaf extract of Pterospermum acerifolium (in vitro) and theoretical investigation of inhibitory signaling pathway

Objective: To evaluate the cytotoxic activity of taraxerol isolated from the leaves of Pterospermum acerifolium and its EtOH extract against human breast, colon, and lung cancer cell lines and docking ***: The structures of the isolated compounds were elucidated by several spectroscopic methods such as 1H-NMR,13C-NMR, DEPT-135, COSY, HSQC, and HMBC. The extract and isolated compound were analyzed for cytotoxic activity on MDA-MB-231, BT-549, A-549, and SW-480 cancer cell lines by MTT assay. Molecular docking was performed on software such as Chem3D pro 12.***.2.1076, Discovery Studio Visualizer, Auto Dock Tools-1.5.6 and Auto dock ***: The extract and isolated compound taraxerol both displayed excellent inhibitory activity(IC50:80 mg/mL for extract and 160 mg/mL for compound) on breast cancer cell(MDA-MB-231). The docking studies show a strong affinity with PI3K(-9.8 Kcal/mol) and m TOR(-10.0 Kcal/mol).Conclusion: The results confirm that the extract and compound exhibited strong cytotoxicity on the MDA-MB-231 cancer cell. So, the extract and the compound may be useful in human chemotherapies.

In this paper, the problem of non-response with significant travel costs in multivariate stratified sample surveys has been formulated of as a Multi-Objective Geometric Programming Problem (MOGPP). The fuzzy programming approach has been described for solving the formulated MOGPP. The formulated MOGPP has been solved with the help of LINGO Software and the dual solution is obtained. The optimum allocations of sample sizes of respondents and non respondents are obtained with the help of dual solutions and primal-dual relationship theorem. A numerical example is given to illustrate the procedure.

This paper examines the high frequency multiscale relationships and nonlinear multiscale causality between Bitcoin,Ethereum,Monero,Dash,Ripple,and *** apply nonlinear Granger causality and rolling window wavelet correlation(RWCC)to 15 *** RWCC results indicate mostly positive co-movements and long-term memory between the cryptocurrencies,especially between Bitcoin,Ethereum,and *** nonlinear Granger causality tests reveal dual causation between most of the cryptocurrency *** advance evidence to improve portfolio risk assessment,and hedging strategies.

In utility power system, electricity demand is being covered largely by fossil fueled power generation, which contributes high level of GHG （greenhouse gas） emission and causes global warming worldwide. In order to reduce GHG emission level, most of the countries in the world targeting towards green energy that is power generation from RE （renewable energy） sources. In this paper, it is considered to study prospects of RE sources in particular, solar and wind in Victoria State which are abundant as compared to other sources of renewable. The wind and solar energy feasibility study and sensitivity analysis has been done for Victoria with the aid of HOMER （hybrid optimization model of electric renewable） simulation software. From the study, it has clearly evicted that wind energy combinational HPS （hybrid power system） has more contribution, and high potential than solar PV （photovoltaic） systems for a particular location. This study also investigates the influences of energy storage in the proposed HPS.

The present work documented two snapper species, Lutjanus fulvus Forster, 1801 and Lutjanus erythropterus Bloch, 1790, recently collected from the Saint Martin's Island, Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh, during a survey on coral associated fishes of Bangladesh from July 2017 to September 2018. These two species were identified with morphological characteristics and by analyzing partial mitochondrial COI sequences. The document also included an updated checklist of snappers available in Bangladesh.

Continuous usage of fossil fuels and other conventional resources to meet the growing demand has resulted in increased energy crisis and greenhouse gas emissions. Hence, it is essential to use renewable energy sources for more reliable, effective, sustainable and pollution free transmission and distribution networks. Therefore, to facilitate large-scale integration of renewable energy in particular wind and solar photovoltaic (PV) energy, this paper presents the feasibility analysis for semi-arid climate and finds the most suitable places in North East region of Victoria for renewable energy generation. For economic and environmental analysis, Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewables (HOMER) was used to investigate the prospects of wind and solar energy considering the Net Present Cost (NPC), Cost of Energy (COE) and Renewable fraction (RF). Six locations are selected from North East region of Victoria and simulations are performed. From the feasibility analysis, it can be concluded that Mount Hotham is one of the most suitable locations for wind energy generation while Wangaratta is the most suitable location for solar energy generation. Mount Hotham is also the best suitable locations in North East region for hybrid power systems i.e., combination of both wind and solar energy generation.

Energy storage is an essential part in effective utilization of Renewable Energy (RE). Most RE sources cannot provide constant energy supply and introduce a potential unbalance in generation and demand, especially in off-peak periods when RE generates more energy and in peak period when load demand rises too high. Storage allows intermittent sources like solar Photovoltaic (PV) to address timely load demand and adds flexibility in load management. This paper analyses the significance of storage for residential load considering solar PV as RE generator. The significance of storage was evaluated in off-grid or stand alone and grid connected configurations. Moreover it outlined the significance of storage in terms of environment and economics by comparing the Renewable Fraction (RF), Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, Cost of Energy (COE) and Net Present Cost (NPC). Investigation showed that storage has positive influences on both (off-grid and grid connected) configurations by improving PV utilization. It was found that in grid connected configuration storage reduced 46.47% of GHG emission, reduced COE, NPC and improved RF compared to the system without storage.
